My son Lucas has been attending tutor sessions with Hilda since 2018 for help with his Maths and English. He is now in Year 6 and has improved considerably, thanks to the extra help he has received. Hildas lessons are professional and tailor planned to help develop areas that need extra attention. She has built a great relationship with Lucas and he always comes away from the sessions feeling really positive. Hilda finds reading material that Lucas would find interesting and she understands the requirements for SATs, which has given him a better grasp of tackling test questions. Recently due to the lockdown, lessons have been conducted online, which were again professional and adapted to Lucas' needs. Overall I would highly recommend HL Tutoring Services and would like to thank Hilda for all her hard work!

This tuition certainly offers excellent standards of teaching and each students progress is measured to make sure they understand the session being taught. The atmosphere is very welcoming and set out like a classroom with excellent facilities to aid revision. Students are given the opportunity to gain confidence in their studies at school as each session is tailored to help them excel in English, Maths and Science subjects. Teachers are keen to ensure each student is gaining the most out of each session.

Brilliant tutors, they listen and help students where they are struggling, see picture showing my child's results before (1st column) and after (2nd column) joining we mainly focused on Math and Science. I feel my child felt alot more confidence in putting his learning into practise.

My son was struggling with Maths before his GCSE’s , he needed a pass to secure a place at college. We met with Jenny who completed a quick assessment and advised the best way to move forward. Sarah is a wonderful tutor who is always approachable, kind and understanding. After the covid lockdowns my daughter really struggled with her confidence in maths, but over the last year we have seen a huge improvement. She got full marks in her multiplication tables test this year and is performing above average in her last tests. My daughter loves going on Friday afternoons and is so much more confident and happy. Liam tutored me in preparation for my A Level English Literature exam. I had limited time until the exam and little knowledge of the texts prior to having a tutor, and Liam gave me great understanding of each text we covered as well how to structure and develop my essays. I have been doing extra tuition in maths with Tutor in Leeds for the last couple of months to prepare me for an exam I will be taking once I emigrate to Canada to study.
