Sarah is a wonderful tutor who is always approachable, kind and understanding. After the covid lockdowns my daughter really struggled with her confidence in maths, but over the last year we have seen a huge improvement. She got full marks in her multiplication tables test this year and is performing above average in her last tests. My daughter loves going on Friday afternoons and is so much more confident and happy. As a parent I cannot recommend Sarah enough.

This tuition certainly offers excellent standards of teaching and each students progress is measured to make sure they understand the session being taught. The atmosphere is very welcoming and set out like a classroom with excellent facilities to aid revision. Students are given the opportunity to gain confidence in their studies at school as each session is tailored to help them excel in English, Maths and Science subjects. Teachers are keen to ensure each student is gaining the most out of each session.

Educate First provide an excellent tutoring service covering the core subjects and tutors' are delivering lessons in accordance to the curriculum. Tutors are always approachable and put in effort to make lessons educationally interactive. This is one of the best and most affordable tutoring services available in the local community. My son was struggling with Maths before his GCSE’s , he needed a pass to secure a place at college. We met with Jenny who completed a quick assessment and advised the best way to move forward. My son was placed on one-to-one sessions with a tutor (Tom) who focused on the areas in which he was struggling. It was a relaxed friendly atmosphere with a high level of teaching. Gemma was an outstanding tutor who greatly improved my English skills. She was patient, motivating, well-prepared, and tailored lessons to my needs. Gemma is a fantastic tutor! My son only had her for the last four months before his GCSEs but in that time he became much more confident and consistent in answering the exam questions in both English Literature and Langugae. I am sure the grade 7 and 8 in these exams were due to Gemma’s personalised and excellent intervention. My son absolutely loved coming to her sessions, even after a long day at school! Not only were the they very helpful but Gemma is such an approachable and calm teacher. I loved that Gemma tailored the tuition to my son’s needs and was so invested in helping him to succeed. I can’t recommend Gemma highly enough , my son has dyslexia and dysgraphia, at the beginning of year 11 he wasn’t expected to pass English language or literature. Her calm manner and sense of fun made my son engage and he enjoyed going every week. Gemma is very approachable and kept me regularly informed as to how he was getting on . I have been doing extra tuition in maths with Tutor in Leeds for the last couple of months to prepare me for an exam I will be taking once I emigrate to Canada to study. I hadn't done maths since high school (8 years ago) so I was very nervous coming into the maths lessons at first. My tutor Liam was fantastic, I was instantly put at ease and felt comfortable during the lessons. We started right at the basics and worked up to the really difficult maths working through every method step by step. I can now say with confidence that I feel fully prepared to sit my exam once I fly to Canada. I would highly recommend to anybody who may be struggling with a subject. Liam tutored me in preparation for my A Level English Literature exam. I had limited time until the exam and little knowledge of the texts prior to having a tutor, and Liam gave me great understanding of each text we covered as well how to structure and develop my essays. Absolute outstanding tutor. Our son suffers with ADHD and autism, Liam not only has helped with Maths but also we noticed our sons confidence has also improved. My son Lucas has been attending tutor sessions with Hilda since 2018 for help with his Maths and English. He is now in Year 6 and has improved considerably, thanks to the extra help he has received. Hildas lessons are professional and tailor planned to help develop areas that need extra attention. She has built a great relationship with Lucas and he always comes away from the sessions feeling really positive. Hilda finds reading material that Lucas would find interesting and she understands the requirements for SATs, which has given him a better grasp of tackling test questions. Recently due to the lockdown, lessons have been conducted online, which were again professional and adapted to Lucas' needs.
