We have been using Conexus Tuition for my son since the summer of 2023 and we honestly can nor recommend them highly enough. My son is in year 6 and we wanted support for SATS specifically but also overall help with English and maths. Jess works so well with our son, she understands his learning styles and takes the time to adapt tasks and explanations to bring out the best in him. Activities are varied and its lovely to hear him laughing and enjoying the interactive sessions. Our son genuinely looks forward to the sessions and has formed a wonderful bond with his tutor, his progress has grown alongside his confidence. A brilliant decision getting Conexus on board, as an ex teacher we really can't recommend them enough.

Miss Lucas has valuable experience in education and a deep understanding of current teaching practices. She has proven her ability get results in the classroom and is now able to use that experience to help children plug gaps in their knowledge with tailor made programmes.

I have been doing extra tuition in maths with Tutor in Leeds for the last couple of months to prepare me for an exam I will be taking once I emigrate to Canada to study. I hadn't done maths since high school (8 years ago) so I was very nervous coming into the maths lessons at first. My tutor Liam was fantastic, I was instantly put at ease and felt comfortable during the lessons. We started right at the basics and worked up to the really difficult maths working through every method step by step. Liam tutored me in preparation for my A Level English Literature exam. I had limited time until the exam and little knowledge of the texts prior to having a tutor, and Liam gave me great understanding of each text we covered as well how to structure and develop my essays. I can’t recommend Gemma highly enough , my son has dyslexia and dysgraphia, at the beginning of year 11 he wasn’t expected to pass English language or literature. Gemma is a fantastic tutor! My son only had her for the last four months before his GCSEs but in that time he became much more confident and consistent in answering the exam questions in both English Literature and Langugae. I started going to Beyond Horizons Tuition in year 4 and now after receiving my GCSE results I am extremely impressed with the support i received throughout my time there. The small classroom size allowed for the teachers to individually support each student with their own needs therefore allowing me to achieve great results in my SATs and later down the line helping me achieve a 9 in maths and a 9-9 in science. Also, my English grade jumped from a 4 in November to a 7 thanks to their unique teaching method which allows the students to consistently improve. My son finds these tuition sessions really helpful. The small group study format works well for him, and the tutors are knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. The follow up communications from Jess are particularly helpful as 15 yr old boys can sometimes be less than communicative with their parents about how things are going!
