My son Lucas has been attending tutor sessions with Hilda since 2018 for help with his Maths and English. He is now in Year 6 and has improved considerably, thanks to the extra help he has received. Hildas lessons are professional and tailor planned to help develop areas that need extra attention. She has built a great relationship with Lucas and he always comes away from the sessions feeling really positive. Hilda finds reading material that Lucas would find interesting and she understands the requirements for SATs, which has given him a better grasp of tackling test questions. Recently due to the lockdown, lessons have been conducted online, which were again professional and adapted to Lucas' needs. Overall I would highly recommend HL Tutoring Services and would like to thank Hilda for all her hard work!

I have been doing extra tuition in maths with Tutor in Leeds for the last couple of months to prepare me for an exam I will be taking once I emigrate to Canada to study. I hadn't done maths since high school (8 years ago) so I was very nervous coming into the maths lessons at first. My tutor Liam was fantastic, I was instantly put at ease and felt comfortable during the lessons. We started right at the basics and worked up to the really difficult maths working through every method step by step. I can now say with confidence that I feel fully prepared to sit my exam once I fly to Canada. I would highly recommend to anybody who may be struggling with a subject. Liam tutored me in preparation for my A Level English Literature exam. I had limited time until the exam and little knowledge of the texts prior to having a tutor, and Liam gave me great understanding of each text we covered as well how to structure and develop my essays. I can’t recommend Gemma highly enough , my son has dyslexia and dysgraphia, at the beginning of year 11 he wasn’t expected to pass English language or literature. Her calm manner and sense of fun made my son engage and he enjoyed going every week. Gemma is very approachable and kept me regularly informed as to how he was getting on . Honestly I can not recommend Adam enough. He has been absolutely amazing, his knowledge and understanding for the children is exemplary. My sons Maths grades improved by 2 marks within 4 months, and he looked forward to his lesson every week. He said the way he was taught the maths was brilliant and if he was struggling Adam made sure he left feeling confident. He had is last lesson on Wednesday and I've just received 2 messages with extra support for his GCSE next week, he didn't have to do this but it shows that isn't just a business to him. If my daughter needs tuiting in the coming years I will not hesitate in where she will be going. Thankyou Adam again.

My daughter needed help with GCSE maths. Adam Tutorial was local and we thought we'd give it a try. We are glad we did. The sessions are held in a small group, rather than the traditional 1-1. Maths is something you need someone to guide you when stuck and not a subject you need constant supervision. The end result is my daughter obtained the grade she thought beforehand she wouldn't attain. Adam definitely helped her on her journey.

My daughter had Maths GCSE lessons & Adam squeezed us in at the eleventh hour! I explained what grade we wanted to achieve, my daughter did not enjoy Maths, but never complained going to the extra classes. Adam was thorough, kind & patient & concentrated on her weakest areas. Jake is a brilliant Maths tutor and I can't recommend him highly enough. He is thoughtful, friendly and analytical. He guided my son through all of the topics he was finding tricky until he was able to identify and work through them with ease. Jake gave our son confidence to raise his own expectations and go for the top grades. A communicative tutor, who let us know how our son was doing regularly and responsive to any questions we had. Fingers crossed for August, but whatever the outcome our son has benefitted from Jake's patience and support.

I signed my daughters up for extra tuition at Lextra a few months ago. Amazing tutoring service! Unlike many I’ve tried before, their ethos and actions align. There’s always someone available to talk to and reply to you when you have any issues. Teachers are very knowledgeable in their subjects and have many years of experience, not only in their subjects but how GCSEs are marked and what’s needed for the child to understand the exams set up. My daughters have taken maths, science and English with Lextra, they are happy with how they are being taught. They have parent meetings and are involved throughout your journey with them, ultimately they care for your child education and well being.
