My little boy was really struggling in Year 2 and we decided to send him to Kip McGrath Garforth for some extra support. Within a matter of weeks his confidence grew and he has become a competent reader. I believe without the support of Dorothy and Chris he would not have achieved so much this academic year. He really enjoys going and I would highly recommend Chris and his team to anyone looking for that extra support.

Absolute outstanding tutor. Our son suffers with ADHD and autism, Liam not only has helped with Maths but also we noticed our sons confidence has also improved. The maths home work year 11 receives is no joke and is way above the level we are at, so we used Liam to help support our son through his maths and assessments. We highly recommend Liam with no hesitation.

I have been doing extra tuition in maths with Tutor in Leeds for the last couple of months to prepare me for an exam I will be taking once I emigrate to Canada to study. I hadn't done maths since high school (8 years ago) so I was very nervous coming into the maths lessons at first. My tutor Liam was fantastic, I was instantly put at ease and felt comfortable during the lessons. We started right at the basics and worked up to the really difficult maths working through every method step by step. I can now say with confidence that I feel fully prepared to sit my exam once I fly to Canada. I would highly recommend to anybody who may be struggling with a subject. Sarah is a wonderful tutor who is always approachable, kind and understanding. After the covid lockdowns my daughter really struggled with her confidence in maths, but over the last year we have seen a huge improvement. She got full marks in her multiplication tables test this year and is performing above average in her last tests. My daughter loves going on Friday afternoons and is so much more confident and happy. As a parent I cannot recommend Sarah enough.

Ruth is such an amazing tutor, I can’t recommend her enough. She has really helped my son with his maths, so much so that he has already moved up 2 maths sets at school in the space of 1 school term. My granddaughter (Ava) has been attending the Kip McGrath centre for nearly one year. The staff and the overall centre consistently present as professional and welcoming, subsequently she very quickly settled into her new Saturday morning routine. Ava initially attended for a full assessment with regard to ongoing difficulties with reading and writing. The outcome of the assessment was shared and more importantly explained. The assessment facilitated the construction of a structured and person centred supportive plan for Ava. As a result over this past year we have seen Ava’s skills and confidence grow and flourish. It is a delight to hear her read with confidence, enthusiasm and expression and to see her use her new found skills so readily. Following each lesson a full update on her progress and development is provided, thus enabling appropriate support to continue at home. The weekly online homework is very user friendly. Would highly recommend this service for someone seeking additional educational support.

Ruth is amazing in every way. Her subject knowledge, professionalism and nurturing qualities have really helped my son make such pleasing progress in maths. He loves his weekly maths tutoring session with Ruth. His confidence has grown beyond belief and we are now expecting him to pass his GCSE maths in the summer as this would probably have not been possible if it wasn’t for Ruth.
