Krystian and Lucas did a marvellous job of my front garden. These guys are really good at what they do and go much further than the extra mile to provide good customer service. Hard working, punctual, professional and don’t mess you about like some trades people. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire these guys again. The guys were brilliant! So speedy but also with real attention to detail and pride in getting it perfect for us. We are so happy with the transformation!!

Challenging job done very well, quickly, neat and tidy and at reasonable price. Honestly would recommend Krystian and Lukasz to everyone looking for professionals for standard and non-standard projects. They will advise you if you are not confident with landscaping. Required job was to: relay existing patio, lay new patio area at the same level, make a drainage, use sleepers (to prevent landslade) wherever required, build up a new access to the garden from readymade posts, gate and fence pannel. On the pictures, there is still odd soil to be taken (waiting for the grab hire) and grass to be laid to complete the job.

I am so grateful to Lukas and the team for helping my parents bring their garden back to life. They came when they said they would (on time too) and the price was reasonable for all the work they did. I hope to have them do more work for us. I highly recommend them to anyone. :-)

Excellent Job. I had a row of substantial overgrown conifers next to a train line and a large hedge to trim back. Fantastic experience using Ben and colleague for a very large hedge trimming. Work is exceptional, all waste was taken away and the site left tidy. Definitely recommend and will be using again for future works.

Our gardens were very overgrown with hedges, shrubs, fruit trees and conifers needing trimming/pruning. An excellent job was carried out and all cuttings were taken away leaving everywhere neat and tidy. All done quickly and at a good price. Would recommend and will be returning customers.

Hands down the best landscaping design and installation professionals in this region, if not the UK. The team are very patient and attentive to every detail in the garden. Our garden came a cost but we can say without doubt we are overjoyed with the outcome and the follow up service. John and his team have kept an eye on the garden to ensure the warranty period is honored and have been proactive in providing follow up care at no further cost. If you want outstanding design, installation and after care then you must go with these guys.

Yorkshire Gardens completed an extensive landscaping job for me. I couldn’t have asked for more. They went above & beyond to get the job done in the time frame promised. After care has also been amazing, anything extra needed or any question asked was always responded to. The guys working on site were very polite & hard working. John & Darren are so helpful. I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful group of people. The design by John and the installation by Darren and his team was of the highest quality. My uninteresting lawn with borders and a tiny patio was transformed into something wonderful with a pergola, raised pond, large planters and patio but still with enough grass for a game of football or cricket to satisfy the grandchildren. Darren and the boys worked virtually non-stop for 5 weeks, often arriving in early morning darkness. Their attention to detail was remarkable and as the saying goes "You get what you pay for", it is worth every penny. Visitors always comment at how wonderful the garden looks. Thank you to everyone involved, especially to Darren and the boys.

Green Garden helped out to clear a section of our property that was overgrown with weeds and creepers. They did a fantastic job!

Wow my garden was like a forest before. The work green gardens have done to transform my garden is amazing! Very responsive, very polite and professional did everything I asked for. No problems at all and very clean with their work. All friendly too but the job is immaculate and would 100% recommend to anyone. So many companies let me down but these lot came out valued and assessed everything and gave such a fair price compared to others.

An absolute hidden gem! One of the most beautiful garden to visit in Yorkshire!! Plenty of interest everywhere you looked. There’s lots of different areas to wander and seating in places to marvel at the fantastic handiwork. The cafe had seating both inside and out with a good selection of food and drink. Plenty of parking spaces alongside a gift shop and plant nursery. Highly recommend visiting if you love gardens!!!

Visited here for the first time. What a beautiful garden with plants we've never seen before, a meadow with around 10 beehives, and a lovely cafe. A real gem, we will visit again next year. Cheers guys.

York Gate is a delightful one-acre Grade II National Heritage Garden created by the Spencer family. It delights with a succession of linked gardens (or "rooms"as they are known) which take their design inspiration from the Arts and Crafts movement and were developed thanks to the horticultural skills of its owner Sybil Spencer and developed between 1951 and 1994. Each individual "room" has its own beauty and interest, with a wealth of plants, shrubs and trees, some immediately recognisable, others much more exotic! There are several water features and unusual structures and stonework, a meadow with beehives plus varied and intricate pathways linking the different "rooms". I was fortunate to visit as part of a National Trust garden volunteer's group and had the benefit of a guided tour given by the affable and knowledgeable Head Gardener, who explained how the garden has evolved and continues to do so. There is also a cafe, shop and plant nursery on the site. It is most definitely worth a visit and cannot fail to impress and inspire!

Visited the garden on 3rd September. Although it only has limited parking we had no problems finding a space. We were greeted at the entrance by a friendly and informative guide who gave us a brief overview of the gardens and amenities. As it was close to lunchtime the first stop was the cafe. This has a large seating both inside and in the garden. The food was good, we both had Paninies which were very good and at a good price. The facilities are spotlessly clean. You can visit the cafe without having to pay entry to the garden. The garden although is only 1 acre the design crams in so many small gardens and walkways it seems so much larger. The planting and hard landscaping is wonderful and is well worth the visit. Price is £7 which is very reasonable and even better is part of the gardeners world 2 for 1 ticket offer. The annual price is also a very cheap option at only .£30. There is also a shop and also plant sales again at reasonable prices. I would highly recommend a visit

Lee & Co did an amazing job of clearing an old scruffy garage and unused, overgrown space at the end of our garden, and creating a beautiful pergola and seating /socialising area, with raised beds for growing, all fully fenced in (ours is the garden in the makeover video). It more than doubled our use of the garden and years later is still money well spent. Lee was fantastic at advising on the best materials available within our budget and where not to cut corners. He helped to bring our vision to life - was reliable, friendly and totally trustworthy, making brilliant progress, even when we weren’t in. His attention to detail, craftsmanship and the quality of work is amazing. Safe to say the work he did was life-changing for how we use our outdoor space and has brought us so much pleasure. Jason did various jobs for my elderly mum. Chopped down a small tree, trimmed some bushes, cleared all the autumn leaves up and fixed a fence broken by the wind.
