Bill did a total makeover on our front driveway. The transformation was amazing - with a picket fence, lawn, chippings and fencing being installed. Bill Cordes and his team recently renovated our garden. This included installing new fences, building decking, removing old concrete and levelling the lawn. Throughout their time with us they were all courteous, friendly and hardworking. They tidied up their equipment every day and were sensitive to the needs of our family. Bill is very knowledgeable about landscaping. He listened to our requirements and suggested good, practical solutions. He kept communication open; not just with us, but with our neighbours too, making it a very pleasant experience for everyone. We are absolutely delighted with the results and very high standard of work, which has transformed our outdoor space. We would recommend Cordes Horticultural Ltd without hesitation.

Today, Bill Cordes and his colleague Baz removed an old damaged five-bar gate and fitted a new one. They were both very friendly, helpful, hardworking and professional. My wife and I were very pleased with the end result and would have no hesitation in recommending them for such work.

You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear? If your name is Bill Cordés you can! The wood supporting my ancient corrugated iron fence had rotted away and the fence was falling into next door's garden. I didn't think it was repairable but Bill proved me wrong. Everything about this job was difficult - small terraced house, access for materials meant carrying heavy planks round to the back of the building via a private car park; no access available to next door's garden so had to hop over the 5ft fence to secure the fence to the new wooden structure; next door's garden overgrown and required fighting against rambling rose bushes and raspberry canes, plus an old rotting shed; old rotten wood had to be removed from the fence without damaging the corrugated iron ... I would have given up. Bill and his colleague did the whole thing in less than five hours and made a truly impressive job of it. They tidied everything up and left it neater than it had ever been. I couldn't recommend Bill Cordés highly enough.

I cannot recommend Fence Connections highly enough. They removed our rotten decking and replaced it with a beautiful patio with a boarder of sleepers and some steps. Sam and the team were so professional and also friendly. They were mindful to clear up at the end of each day so our dog and son could still use the garden. We are absolutely thrilled with the result.

I can’t recommend Fence Connections enough. Craig, Sam and Tommy worked unbelievably hard and completely transformed our back garden. Sam came round initially to quote and was really good at understanding what we needed but also pointing out the things we hadn’t thought of and suggesting solutions. They were also able to fit us in between jobs meaning that we got the garden sorted in time for ‘Summer’. Great workmanship and really friendly and kind people to work with, I can’t recommend them highly enough.. The deck and the raised bed looks great and we’re really pleased with it.

Our garden was a rectangular plot consisting of turf which sloped top to bottom and right to left. We wanted a paved area and a pergola but beyond that were open to suggestions. Sam and Craig were full of ideas and showed us examples of work they had done previously. They were able to lay a patio covering two-thirds of the bottom of the garden which matched paving slabs and steps at the side of our house as well as a raised patio with grey boards. The contrast in materials and heights worked really well. They then constructed a pergola on the grey boards leaving planting pockets so we could grow flowers and climbing plants. Finally they laid a new path from the steps at the front of the garden to the patio which tied the whole design together. In addition they built a new fence behind the whole area which matches the fences at the side of the garden. The garden has been transformed and we are more than happy with the finished result. If you are looking for a team with good ideas that they can implement then you won't go far wrong with Fence Connections.

Dan designed a garden for me five years ago. He completely understood what I wanted, which was an easy-maintenance, hide-and-seek garden. He transformed the space, filling it with colourful, sweet-smelling shrubs which have blossomed and matured. Dan is very knowledgeable and I was completely - and rightly - confident in him. He transformed a bog-standard space into exactly what I envisioned. Since then, Dan has helped me keep on top of things here. He’s such a hard worker, and works so fast. Andy has done a couple of projects for us now. He installed a really nice bit of decking in the place of our patio, this now means our bbq and log cabin all sit on the same level as the house. He has recently replaced our fencing for concrete posts and gravel boards. This was completed to a high standard and all done in one day. I would totally recommend his services.

Wayne and his team did a great job remodelling our garden. It involved quite a lot of groundwork, and a lot of sleeper work, which was completed to a very high standard. They also did a fantastic job of laying a paved area on the upper level, and laying artificial grass on the lower level. We requested installation of porcelain tiles to the front of the property and a mix of Trex composite decking, artificial lawn and porcelain tiles to the rear of the property.
