A very smooth exercise to transform our garden thanks to Rob and his trusty co worker. Having asked for a quote to rescue our rear garden Rob promptly attended and after advice a sensible quote was given. Shortly after, the 'team' arrived and set to. The final result was stunning and greatly appreciated, every time I pass a window I have to stop to survey the transformation. Highly recommended all round.

Rob laid our patio and did an excellent job. We’d seen him lay a neighbours patio and were impressed so decided to use him too. He is a perfectionist and works to a very high standard. He communicated with us at each stage of the process and always tidied up each day. He works alongside family members and it’s great to see him sharing his wealth of knowledge. We would highly recommend Rob and would certainly use again.

Allen Garden Solutions have just completed a total make over of our small garden, installing a patio, making a large bed out of railway sleepers, a pergola and planting. Jeff was a pleasure to deal with throughout, the quality of the work is excellent and we are delighted with the end result. Arum landscaping replaced our old and rotten raised beds and shingle with block and rendered beds as picture and repaved surrounding area. We were delighted with the outcome it looks very stylish. The project was well managed and ran to time and cost . The team , ably fronted by Dan , were excellent. Polite, tidy and nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend this company and will definitely be pleased to use them again .

We had our garden done by Alf and the team back in February and couldn’t recommend enough. The job was a full on re-landscaping of every inch to replace it with a new split-level patio with aco drain, new turf, fence, and planting border, along with a tree removal. Our garden is very small and North-facing, so it was always difficult for us to see the potential. However, Alf is full of great ideas and advice and consulted with us closely to agree on a design that maximises the space’s full potential. The garden has gone from just a tiny, neglected spot of land to a highly functional space for entertaining, with a larger patio area in the shade of the house (perfect for getting some respite from the heat when dining), and a smaller raised patio at the sunny end for lounging and catching some rays! I’ve only just got around to writing a review but hopefully the delay only makes it more credible as we are now several months on and have actually had the opportunity to put the garden to good use, and it 100% meets expectations. Many downpours have tested, but most definitely not defeated, the drainage system put in place which is highly effective. Everything else remains as perfect as the day it was put in. We know this wasn’t an easy job… Firstly, we have no direct access to our garden. Fortunately, we have very kind neighbours who were happy for the team to come through their garden and around the side of their house. Other landscapers were not keen to take the job on but Alf was more keen to find solutions and make it work, rather than finding excuses not to. And, I’m happy to report that the neighbours were very satisfied with how everything was cleaned up and put back in place for them afterwards. Secondly, the weather was awful… a far wetter than usual February. I’ve no doubt this made things more difficult but the team kept going. Of course, February also brings short days but Alf was often found completing work well after the sun had set, where it was practicable to do so. To summarise, if you’re looking for a knowledgable, experienced, and friendly landscape professional, who treats your property (and neighbouring properties) with absolute respect, and who has the dedication to finish the job to an exceptional standard, even in challenging conditions, then I would 100% recommend Alf and Arum Landscapes. I hope people find this review helpful - I’ve included some before and after pics to show the transformation. I did the planting so please don’t judge anyone else for that if I’ve done a bad job!!

Alf arranged to repoint our patio earlier than originally planned, which was great. They worked so well together and did an excellent job. It looks so much better and I would highly recommend Arum Landscapes. They are delightful, hard-working and very helpful.

James has been coming to us for about 3 years and has completed our driveway, fencing, patios and pergolas, and we'll be asking him to do more work later this year. He is really good at listening to requirements and details. We are exceptionally picky about how we want things to look and James is very good both when we brief him and on site doing the work, to make sure it lives up to our vision. Latest was repointing a large old patio which we really love and needed to be exactly right and he worked with us to get the right finish and exactly the right colour for the pointing, it now looks like new, and we're very pleased. Thank you to James for another great experience! We've now had two landscaping projects delivered (over a year apart). One patio and gazebo (removing all the old concrete etc,) and one new gravel with brick edged driveway . On both occasions we had great customer service, delivered exactly what we asked for and great value for money. So many people have commented on how great it looks. Cleared up and left the place pristine and the dogs loved him too! Highly recommended.

Shaun and his team have just completed 7 days work at our house installing new fences and a gate. Shaun and his team worked like trojans to deliver the most amazing garden transformation. This was no small job; requiring 60 conifer trees to be removed, new fencing all round, levelling of the garden and new turf. They removed and replaced 300 x tonnes of top soil. The end effect is commented on by all my visitors and he’s won several contracts in the area as a consequence. He and his team come with my highest possible recommendation.

From the outset we were impressed with Shaun. Delays in our house move meant having to push back our garden work yet Shaun was completely understanding and flexible, re-scheduling without any issues. Professional, honest and reliable. The team were here for 10days straight doing a large fencing job and garden clearance involving 2 skips. They worked solidly through all weather and without a doubt to extremely high standard. We’re really pleased with our new fence and gates. They were polite, considerate of our property and best of all accommodating of our dog who enjoyed the extra attention! My wife and I can’t recommend RKR services highly enough. They represent good value, they weren’t our cheapest quote, but it was very clear early on that they have great knowledge and experience and we knew from other friends who had used them that their quality of work is second to none. We are so glad we chose them to change our garden. The changes we wanted weren’t without some challenges! But every challenge was overcome and the result was better than we even imagined! Our children love the increased area to play and there were several other tweaks that were suggested along the way and were made, all of which continued to improve the end result. We are very thankful.
