The seven battered old fence panels were replaced along with the ivy clinging to them and the new ones change the whole appearance of the garden for the better, Very pleased with the work done, all the old panels were removed and everywhere left clean and tidy.

My wife and I cannot praise Matt Kemp and his young team enough for all their hard work laying an extension to our patio. They were polite, efficient, hardworking and paid great attention to detail. Matt was flexible and helpful when unexpected construction issues were encountered and, after consultation, offered remedies and advice. Compared with all other contractors we've had working at our home, Kemps Landscaping was the only one that we had no issues with the result on its completion. We found Kemps Landscaping from a google search and saw they had really good reviews. Matt made contact quickly and came round to quote for a new patio and hand built pergola. He was able to start the job early and what a fantastic job he and his team have done, we are so pleased with the end result. Excellent communication throughout the project and everything was left very tidy at the end of each day. I had a porcelain patio / artificial turf and aluminium pergola instalation with some wall rendering and other finishing touches from Kemps Lanscaping. Matt and his crew have been tidy, easy and an absolute pleasure to have working away in the Garden. Everything handled with care and consideration, and the communication has been excellent throughout, where I knew exactly what was happening and when. It was easy to run through different ideas with almost immediate quotes and even when I changed some of the plans as Matt was here, he remained flexible and accomodating. Sometimes you just don't know what kind of finish you want in some areas until you start seeing everything come together so this really helped us get the best result possible. After work was complete, Matt was reassuring that if any snags were found, he'd come and clear them up and this has absolutely been the case. He takes pride in his work and has an obvious passion for it which you can clearly see when you talk to him and see him work. Will absolutely go with him again for future phases of the garden design.

The work undertaken earlier this year to install an artificial lawn and lay Karndean flooring to a large bedroom, plus decorating the bedroom and en-suite was carried out professionally and either minimal mess and disruption. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company’s services.

Claire has looked after mum’s garden for the past couple of years. She is friendly, professional and reliable. She has worked out a maintenance schedule for the garden but is also happy to undertake specific projects such as designing and planting a flower border. The garden now always looks good, we would definitely recommend this business.

I first discovered Claire a number of years ago when I was looking for somebody to bring the beautiful wisteria on the front of my house back to life. It really was in a bad way after a tough winter and had only had one flower the previous Spring. Claire pruned it expertly and gave it a good feed. The following Spring, it was back to its former glory. Claire has returned to prune it every winter since and each year, the wisteria is bursting with bloom. I love it so much! Claire is lovely and has also helped me transform my little garden by digging beds and introducing plants which have really thrived. I can’t recommend her enough. Get in quickly though as she’s so popular, she’s always super busy!

When a very large garden takes over the borders and life doesn’t allow for you to get out there and do the hard heavy work at the beginning of the season, the help and advice from Stuart has been invaluable and what was achieved by him and Claire in a short space of time motivated action on our part and we look forward to an ongoing working relationship with them. We could not have asked for a better service from Rob. He tidied up the front and back gardens, mowing the lawn, weeding borders and beds and generally getting things ready for the winter. He was professional, punctual and his work was of the highest quality. We are looking forward to getting his ideas for some bigger improvements to the garden in the spring.

Rob has helped me take a dark, shaded part of my garden and bring a touch of light, space, structure and thought to it. A woodland scheme was needed for my setting and Rob took the time to understand both my requirements and what the site needed to be successful. He then came up with a design and planting scheme, working with me on every step of the way to make sure I was happy. He gave me several options that would fit in with my budget and helped me maximise what I could get for my investment. Sourcing and planting was done quickly and Rob was careful and hard working throughout. While its early days, everything we planted has bedded in nicely and I'm already seeing the new shoots coming through ready for the real splendor of the design to be realised in the Spring. I've already recommended him to several friends and will definitely be using him again in the future.

Wonderful job completed by Cowen Landscapes. The brief was to make my small sloping plot wheelchair friendly with raised beds for ease of maintenance and no lawn. Project: Suburban front garden, driveway and passage to the back garden. Property is on a gentle slope, and the garden slopes towards the house. The team at VU clearly take tremendous pride in their work and I can honestly say that we've enjoyed the experience of having them on site. Here's my impression: - understanding the brief - proposing the use of new materials - executing the work with precision - going the extra mile (in our case, some 160+ miles round trip to find and collect extra block pavers). Filip shares my aesthetic so I was happy to leave the design decisions in his capable hands. Ralph, with over 30 years of experience in the business, focuses on the important details and uses his ingenuity to solve technical problems. Clive, like others in the team, is uncompromising in his attention to detail and works with precision. On day 7, when I noticed the various levelling instruments and jumbo folding squares, I could only rejoice, as I loathe tradespeople who work 'by eye' - unless they are artists! Consequently, I was able to relax and concentrate on my own work, confident that Team VU would surpass my expectations. We've received lots of compliments from passers-by about our new front garden, with a few people remarking on the attention to detail. Our front garden is testament to VU's hard work and professionalism. We certainly have no hesitation in recommending them.

Vu have transformed our garden. Ralph and his team have always been very helpful and willing to deal with any issues that arose as the work went along. Nothing has been too much trouble for them, and our site is not the easiest, with steps up a relatively steep slope to navigate. Vu designed and landscaped my garden recently which was basically just turf at the start. We had a large conifer fall onto our workshop roof - having never dealt with anything like this before, I was so glad i called Day Tree Fellers - my details were taken and despite being extremely busy with the latest storm damage, James came round to quote. Only a few days later the guys came and removed the tree - they were quick, tidy, professional and friendly - what more could you ask and we would certainly not hesitate to use and recommend them in the future :)
