George and his colleagues did an amazing job on this garden. Over a long period of time it had become really overgrown. In the space of 4 days it has been transformed. Derek and Georgie carried out an extension to our existing patio and found an almost match to the existing slab. We are extremely satisfied and happy with the standard of work we received, and disruption was kept to a minimum. We would thoroughly recommend to anyone wish to have any hard landscaping work done.

Derek and his team did an excellent job with our back garden. We were very impressed with how thorough he was in the beginning and talked us through the whole project and what would be expected. We had some idea of what we wanted, and Derek helped us shape this and provide his own ideas of what we could do, which we really valued. It took us a long time to get him booked in (5 months, so book well in advanced), but when he confirmed a date, the work was completed in good time and completed with excellent quality. He was conscious of doing an excellent job, but also considered the implications of the decisions too. For example, we asked for an area to be covered in patio slabs, and Derek mentioned that we also need to consider the drainage required for such a job. He factored this into the work, and given the rain we have had over the past couple of months, we've been very thankful of the knowledge he had to ensure that the job is both practical and aesthetically pleasing. We would highly recommend Derek to others and will happily use him again.

A big thank you to Catriona for her wonderful redesign of my garden. I had lost inspiration and enthusiasm and needed fresh new ideas. Following a thorough assessment of the my likes/dislikes and of how myself and my family use the garden space Catriona created a wonderful new design introducing curves to the flower beds, a new path and incorporating a fabulous new seated area with gazebo for year round use. I am really delighted with her flowing informal planting scheme and am so looking forward to watching it mature over the next few years. Throughout the project Catriona was approachable and available for advice and support and last week we spent a very enjoyable week planting up the beds together allowing me to gain valuable information about managing my garden going forward.

We highly recommend Haywood Landscapes from start to finish a wonderful, friendly, professional company to deal with in every aspect. Andy’s knowledge and skill turned our initial basic ideas into a design. His team then carried out the work which was extremely well planned and executed with accuracy and perfection. The whole time we were kept informed, and made sure we were happy. Everything was left as tidy as possible at the end of each day and the whole time they were very considerate to our neighbours.

We were looking around for an all in one solution to our landscaping needs. The design element was very important to us as we only had a vague idea of what we wanted in our minds. Andy and the team compiled our thoughts, essentials and desirables and created a design we loved from day 1. When it came to the build, we didn't have to wait long for a team to be available. They did a great job and neighbours had no complaints about their level of courtesy. Took about 6 weeks working business days to finish the job. A significant part of the job was excavating clay. All in we were extremely happy with the attention to detail and final outcome. The only issue we had was our pergola was delivered late by a one man team from a 3rd party, due to having a puncture. Given underlying medical problems I was unable to effectively assist with the delivery.

Our garden was an overgrown mess ever since we moved in with low quality soil and rubbish and rubble left over from the original house build and to our shame several years of neglect. Andy and team drew up a lovely low maintenance design to let us keep control but still get us some greenery and colour. Improved the soil, removed the rubbish paving laid by the developer and replaced with new patio and built out the raised beds and planted out borders. Quoted 3 weeks to carry out the work, but was completed to an excellent standard in 2 and to our budget. Very much looking forward to seeing it start to bloom in the spring and summer and such a relief to no longer have a horrendous eyesore staring at us through the windows. Excellent attention to detail and personal service. Thoroughly recommend.

Our garden was a rectangular plot consisting of turf which sloped top to bottom and right to left. We wanted a paved area and a pergola but beyond that were open to suggestions. Sam and Craig were full of ideas and showed us examples of work they had done previously. They were able to lay a patio covering two-thirds of the bottom of the garden which matched paving slabs and steps at the side of our house as well as a raised patio with grey boards. The contrast in materials and heights worked really well. They then constructed a pergola on the grey boards leaving planting pockets so we could grow flowers and climbing plants. Finally they laid a new path from the steps at the front of the garden to the patio which tied the whole design together. In addition they built a new fence behind the whole area which matches the fences at the side of the garden. The garden has been transformed and we are more than happy with the finished result. If you are looking for a team with good ideas that they can implement then you won't go far wrong with Fence Connections.

I can’t recommend Fence Connections enough. Craig, Sam and Tommy worked unbelievably hard and completely transformed our back garden. Sam came round initially to quote and was really good at understanding what we needed but also pointing out the things we hadn’t thought of and suggesting solutions. They were also able to fit us in between jobs meaning that we got the garden sorted in time for ‘Summer’. Great workmanship and really friendly and kind people to work with, I can’t recommend them highly enough.. The deck and the raised bed looks great and we’re really pleased with it.

Best landscapers in Kent! After been let down so many times before, Sam came round and was instantly understanding and very professional. Very happy, throughout the process Simon's only concern was that I was happy with the work, rather than making money. As soon as he finished the job he said if there are any issues with the work let me know, and indeed as soon as I texted him about an issue, I had a response within 10 minutes. It's so refreshing not having to chase people! The issue was nothing to do with his work, rather it was Redrow (house builder's) poor workmanship, that became visible after Simon's job. Nevertheless, he came round promptly and tidied it up free of charge.
