Tom and the team have undertaken numerous works for us including creating new plant beds, construction of a pergola, replacing paving with turf, and converting a lawn into a wildflower meadow. Tom is thorough in understanding the client’s requirements, pricing these accordingly and delivering as specified. He will consult throughout the process and seek opportunities for improvement on cost, time and quality. The result is every piece of work has been excellent and good value for money.

The seven battered old fence panels were replaced along with the ivy clinging to them and the new ones change the whole appearance of the garden for the better, Very pleased with the work done, all the old panels were removed and everywhere left clean and tidy.

I sent Aaron pictures of what we wanted done and he was able to give me a remote quote which we were happy with. The work done was 10/10. They got our our garden winter ready removed all weeds on the patio and on the sides. Trimmed our incredibly overgrown bushes in the front. I’m very sure they gave us an extra 2m2 + of driveway space back ! All shrubs were taken away with them, with not so much of a piece of grass was left behind! All in all extremely happy with the service ! Haven’t been able to stop looking out our windows since. Looks like we’ve found who we’ll be using for life, so thank you and look forward to welcoming you back in the summer !

I typically don’t write reviews and have not done so before, however today is a must. I was extremely blown away by Aaron and the team’s attention to detail and commitment in doing a fantastic job. To give an insight of the thoroughness of the service provided: Aaron parked his van on our drive and when the job was finished he moved the van down the road and came back to ensure there were no leaves remaining which may have be blown underneath the van. It’s this level of attention to detail you don’t see these days with services providers. I can not recommend AJ garden services enough and have found my go-to gardeners.

When a very large garden takes over the borders and life doesn’t allow for you to get out there and do the hard heavy work at the beginning of the season, the help and advice from Stuart has been invaluable and what was achieved by him and Claire in a short space of time motivated action on our part and we look forward to an ongoing working relationship with them. Claire has looked after mum’s garden for the past couple of years. She is friendly, professional and reliable. She has worked out a maintenance schedule for the garden but is also happy to undertake specific projects such as designing and planting a flower border. The garden now always looks good, we would definitely recommend this business.

Matt and his team have done a super-professional job building a ragstone retaining wall, stone steps and brick path in our garden. The quality of the workmanship, attention to detail and overall finish are all incredibly high quality. Matt and his team at Cowen Landscapes have created a stunningly, beautiful garden for us, totally transforming the mainly unusable space with all new hard & soft landscaping. The work consisted of retaining walls, ground levelling, sleeper walls, raised beds, fencing, porcelain patio & path, new lawns, plus design and planting of shrubs and trees. Our site came with plenty of challenges which were dealt with without a fuss and no issue was insurmountable due to Matt’s ‘can do’ attitude. The whole project was carried out to a very high standard and completed on time and no budget, working through some terribly challenging weather conditions! Matt worked collaboratively with us from the outset, always coming up with great ideas including lovely planting designs, which is an area he is passionate about and extremely knowledgeable. We found Matt easy to work with due to his excellent level of communication on and off site. The whole team are professional, organised, dedicated and courteous, as well as being genuinely nice people who were a pleasure to have around. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cowen Landscapes for any project large or small. We are 100% happy clients and we look forward to Matt and his team returning to carry out further projects in the future.
