Our garden was an overgrown mess ever since we moved in with low quality soil and rubbish and rubble left over from the original house build and to our shame several years of neglect. Andy and team drew up a lovely low maintenance design to let us keep control but still get us some greenery and colour. Improved the soil, removed the rubbish paving laid by the developer and replaced with new patio and built out the raised beds and planted out borders. Quoted 3 weeks to carry out the work, but was completed to an excellent standard in 2 and to our budget. Very much looking forward to seeing it start to bloom in the spring and summer and such a relief to no longer have a horrendous eyesore staring at us through the windows. Excellent attention to detail and personal service. Thoroughly recommend.

We were looking around for an all in one solution to our landscaping needs. The design element was very important to us as we only had a vague idea of what we wanted in our minds. Andy and the team compiled our thoughts, essentials and desirables and created a design we loved from day 1. When it came to the build, we didn't have to wait long for a team to be available. They did a great job and neighbours had no complaints about their level of courtesy. Took about 6 weeks working business days to finish the job. A significant part of the job was excavating clay. All in we were extremely happy with the attention to detail and final outcome. The only issue we had was our pergola was delivered late by a one man team from a 3rd party, due to having a puncture. Given underlying medical problems I was unable to effectively assist with the delivery.

Andy’s knowledge and skill turned our initial basic ideas into a design. His team then carried out the work which was extremely well planned and executed with accuracy and perfection. We have just had our garden redesigned and landscaped by Haywood Landscapes. We are extremely happy with the end result and can't wait to spend some time in the new garden in the spring, watching the planting come to life. I can't recommend AJ services enough. My partners parents live in Margate and we live in London and unfortunately the parents are unable to look after the garden and it had been neglected for a number of years. It was quite overwhelming to look at and we didn't know what to do or how much it would cost. When I contacted AJ, I felt we were in safe hands. We did a walk through of the garden and I felt very confident of the work he was doing and within our budget. They acted fast and after a day's work the place was looking fantastic. It really gave us peace of mind. We will always use them now for top ups and more needs to be done. AJ Sparks recently repaired a hazardous drain in the car park at The Miramar care home. Their team responded promptly, addressing the issue quickly and professionally. The repair was thorough, and the drain is now not only safe but better than before. We were impressed with the quality of work and their attention to detail. I cannot recommend Fence Connections highly enough. They removed our rotten decking and replaced it with a beautiful patio with a boarder of sleepers and some steps. Sam and the team were so professional and also friendly. They were mindful to clear up at the end of each day so our dog and son could still use the garden. We are absolutely thrilled with the result.

Sam came round initially to quote and was really good at understanding what we needed but also pointing out the things we hadn’t thought of and suggesting solutions. Excellent ongoing work by Tom and his team Very courteous and professional and are able to deal with all our requirements in a total garden makeover from dealing with daily garden maintenance to complicated planting and planning in a large 17th century house garden.

Tom and the team have undertaken numerous works for us including creating new plant beds, construction of a pergola, replacing paving with turf, and converting a lawn into a wildflower meadow. Tom is thorough in understanding the client’s requirements, pricing these accordingly and delivering as specified. Bill Cordes and his team recently renovated our garden. This included installing new fences, building decking, removing old concrete and levelling the lawn. Throughout their time with us they were all courteous, friendly and hardworking. They tidied up their equipment every day and were sensitive to the needs of our family. Bill is very knowledgeable about landscaping. He listened to our requirements and suggested good, practical solutions. He kept communication open; not just with us, but with our neighbours too, making it a very pleasant experience for everyone. You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear? If your name is Bill Cordés you can! The wood supporting my ancient corrugated iron fence had rotted away and the fence was falling into next door's garden. I didn't think it was repairable but Bill proved me wrong. Everything about this job was difficult - small terraced house, access for materials meant carrying heavy planks round to the back of the building via a private car park; no access available to next door's garden so had to hop over the 5ft fence to secure the fence to the new wooden structure; next door's garden overgrown and required fighting against rambling rose bushes and raspberry canes, plus an old rotting shed; old rotten wood had to be removed from the fence without damaging the corrugated iron ... I would have given up. Bill and his colleague did the whole thing in less than five hours and made a truly impressive job of it. They tidied everything up and left it neater than it had ever been. I couldn't recommend Bill Cordés highly enough.

Bill did a total makeover on our front driveway. The transformation was amazing - with a picket fence, lawn, chippings and fencing being installed.
