Awesome job. Marc was highly professional and nothing was too much trouble for him. Our garden now looks amazing as opposed to the overgrown and untidy area it was before Marc arrived. We've booked him in for future work to be done and would absolutely recommend him to anyone.

I hired Dover Gardening Services in April 2019 to clean up my garden and get it in shape for the summer, plus regular maintenance. The initial work included pruning & shaping trees and shrubs, weeding borders, patio and paths and mulching borders. The estimate I received prior to the work being carried out was clear and informative. On the agreed date, Marc arrived on time and carried out all the work to a high standard. There was a lot of work to do and I was impressed at Marc’s efficiency and attention to detail. I also appreciated his excellent communication throughout. Marc is an absolute professional and I have no hesitation in recommending Dover Gardening Services for jobs large and small.

Marc has done an amazing job on a rather big back garden, front garden and hedges. All done within a day (whereas it would take us over a whole weekend) and looks incredible. Really professional service and great value for the amount of work which was done. Would def recommend his services 😀

We had our garden done by Alf and the team back in February and couldn’t recommend enough. The job was a full on re-landscaping of every inch to replace it with a new split-level patio with aco drain, new turf, fence, and planting border, along with a tree removal. Our garden is very small and North-facing, so it was always difficult for us to see the potential. However, Alf is full of great ideas and advice and consulted with us closely to agree on a design that maximises the space’s full potential. The garden has gone from just a tiny, neglected spot of land to a highly functional space for entertaining, with a larger patio area in the shade of the house (perfect for getting some respite from the heat when dining), and a smaller raised patio at the sunny end for lounging and catching some rays! I’ve only just got around to writing a review but hopefully the delay only makes it more credible as we are now several months on and have actually had the opportunity to put the garden to good use, and it 100% meets expectations. Many downpours have tested, but most definitely not defeated, the drainage system put in place which is highly effective. Everything else remains as perfect as the day it was put in. We know this wasn’t an easy job… Firstly, we have no direct access to our garden. Fortunately, we have very kind neighbours who were happy for the team to come through their garden and around the side of their house. Other landscapers were not keen to take the job on but Alf was more keen to find solutions and make it work, rather than finding excuses not to. And, I’m happy to report that the neighbours were very satisfied with how everything was cleaned up and put back in place for them afterwards. Secondly, the weather was awful… a far wetter than usual February. I’ve no doubt this made things more difficult but the team kept going. Of course, February also brings short days but Alf was often found completing work well after the sun had set, where it was practicable to do so. To summarise, if you’re looking for a knowledgable, experienced, and friendly landscape professional, who treats your property (and neighbouring properties) with absolute respect, and who has the dedication to finish the job to an exceptional standard, even in challenging conditions, then I would 100% recommend Alf and Arum Landscapes. I hope people find this review helpful - I’ve included some before and after pics to show the transformation. I did the planting so please don’t judge anyone else for that if I’ve done a bad job!!

Arum landscaping replaced our old and rotten raised beds and shingle with block and rendered beds as picture and repaved surrounding area. We were delighted with the outcome it looks very stylish. The project was well managed and ran to time and cost . The team , ably fronted by Dan , were excellent. Polite, tidy and nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend this company and will definitely be pleased to use them again .

The team have excellent knowledge of plants and were able to recommend, source and plant some excellent specimens for me which will provide interest and colour throughout the year. They also tidied up the rest of my garden and provided additional plants where required. I will be asking them back to maintain the garden as and when required. Ink to Barrow have just completed a large raised stone terrace project for us and we could not be more delighted. We've just had a terrace laid down by Tudor Landscaping. It's a complete departure from what we previously had, being mainly flower beds. Grant's team arrived Monday 12th August, first thing and finished the work this morning (19th August). They worked incredibly hard, especially as they couldn't fit the digger through our rear hate and had to resort to hand digging the earth out. They kept us informed all the time and checked with us on any design issues. They turned up on time every day and my neighbour commented on how well they tidied up before leaving each night. We are very pleased with the end result and can't wait to start enjoying our new look garden. Recommended trader!
