Chris and his team transformed a tired old greenhouse/patio area into a lovely new area with Indian sandstone and a central dwarf wall ready for a greenhouse top (fitted separately). Including raised planters for veg & herbs. We even got them to re point a previously less well laid patio to bring the whole back garden back up to scratch. Despite awful weather they were always on time, stayed late and kept smiling. Chris also kept us informed for the whole time the project was running, from conception to the final clear up. The work was extremely professionally done, everything that could be thought of was, the end result is much more than we expected We would have no hesitation in recommending them, in fact we may even find a new project for them at the front of the garden as we were so impressed.

The project was to dismantle a bathroom, retile it and install new fittings, and also to replace a shower in a bedroom. There were tricky elements to it as might be expected in an older property, and where a previous owner had tinkered. It took careful design and time to execute (longer than first predicted), but Chris and his colleagues in specialist trades were unfailingly flexible, dependable and helpful. You can be assured that Chris and his team will not cut corners or hide weaknesses that could give rise to issues in the future. To sum up: impressive in adjusting to unforeseen challenges, meticulous in workmanship, and altogether superb value.

Through the heatwave of July 2022 Rogers Landscaping transformed our back garden, installing Millboard Decking across the back of our garden. This work was carried out to a very high standard with Chris and Lee taking great care to get things right for us. We are extremely pleased with the end results, it looks amazing. Contacted Rogers Landscapes to reorganise our back garden following the installation of the conservatory. Very impressed with all the work done from initial planning meetings through to the completion of the work. Wayne and his team did a great job remodelling our garden. It involved quite a lot of groundwork, and a lot of sleeper work, which was completed to a very high standard. They also did a fantastic job of laying a paved area on the upper level, and laying artificial grass on the lower level. They also replaced several posts and panels of the fence, all to the same high standards. I would not hesitate to recommend Living Landscapes.

Can't speak highly enough of the whole experience with Dean and DKA. We contacted 3 companies at the start, two wanted me to send measurements and pictures via whatsapp to quote from. Dean was the only one who took the time to come out and see our garden. He took time to understand what we wanted to achieve and then worked out how to make it happen, and when we changed our mind a bit, he came out a second time to quote again. He clearly has a passion for what he does which comes out in conversations and his work. He made sure we understood the process and how he goes about the installation. Dean had a team of 3 others working with him and as a whole, DKA were punctual, hard working, professional and polite. The job came in as quoted....... no nasty surprises! The end result has been exactly what we wanted and more thanks to Dean and his team. Dean provides bespoke, high quality service and professionalism throughout. He took time and care to get to know our individual needs and made recommendations with his expertise. I was looking to create a new herbaceous border but wasn’t sure where to start. I was recommended to Hythe Garden Landscapes and I have been so pleased with the service provided. The team have excellent knowledge of plants and were able to recommend, source and plant some excellent specimens for me which will provide interest and colour throughout the year. They also tidied up the rest of my garden and provided additional plants where required. I will be asking them back to maintain the garden as and when required. We had our garden done by Alf and the team back in February and couldn’t recommend enough. The job was a full on re-landscaping of every inch to replace it with a new split-level patio with aco drain, new turf, fence, and planting border, along with a tree removal. Our garden is very small and North-facing, so it was always difficult for us to see the potential. However, Alf is full of great ideas and advice and consulted with us closely to agree on a design that maximises the space’s full potential. The garden has gone from just a tiny, neglected spot of land to a highly functional space for entertaining, with a larger patio area in the shade of the house (perfect for getting some respite from the heat when dining), and a smaller raised patio at the sunny end for lounging and catching some rays! I’ve only just got around to writing a review but hopefully the delay only makes it more credible as we are now several months on and have actually had the opportunity to put the garden to good use, and it 100% meets expectations. Many downpours have tested, but most definitely not defeated, the drainage system put in place which is highly effective. Everything else remains as perfect as the day it was put in. We know this wasn’t an easy job… Firstly, we have no direct access to our garden. Fortunately, we have very kind neighbours who were happy for the team to come through their garden and around the side of their house. Other landscapers were not keen to take the job on but Alf was more keen to find solutions and make it work, rather than finding excuses not to. And, I’m happy to report that the neighbours were very satisfied with how everything was cleaned up and put back in place for them afterwards. Secondly, the weather was awful… a far wetter than usual February. I’ve no doubt this made things more difficult but the team kept going. Of course, February also brings short days but Alf was often found completing work well after the sun had set, where it was practicable to do so. To summarise, if you’re looking for a knowledgable, experienced, and friendly landscape professional, who treats your property (and neighbouring properties) with absolute respect, and who has the dedication to finish the job to an exceptional standard, even in challenging conditions, then I would 100% recommend Alf and Arum Landscapes. I hope people find this review helpful - I’ve included some before and after pics to show the transformation. I did the planting so please don’t judge anyone else for that if I’ve done a bad job!!

Arum landscaping replaced our old and rotten raised beds and shingle with block and rendered beds as picture and repaved surrounding area. We were delighted with the outcome it looks very stylish. The project was well managed and ran to time and cost . The team , ably fronted by Dan , were excellent. Polite, tidy and nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend this company and will definitely be pleased to use them again .
