Today was my first visit to Heronden Veterinary Practice with my dog Teddy. Very easy to find, good size car park. Receptionist was very welcoming and friendly, made a great fuss of Teddy, which he loved. The vet was also very friendly and helpful. He was great with Ted. I'm so glad I made the change 😊

One of the most compassionate yet professional vet practices I have come across. The staff are lovely and my dog loves going in there. We had an excellent experience with his neuter surgery where he healed beautifully. After having bad experiences at another local vets, I transferred to Heronden and it was the best decision I have made for my two dogs! The team were all so welcoming and accommodating with my many requests and concerns and always made an extra effort to make it a positive experience for my dog. The vet (Katie) took time to explain everything to me in detail which really helped ease any anxieties caused by previous vets. She was patient and kind to my dog and paid great attention to his reactions to ensure that he was comfortable. Would recommend this practice 1000%.

We have recently joined Heronden Vets after a bad experience at a previous vets. All of the staff have taken time to get to know Roddy and reassure him. He gets spoilt with lots of treats and fusses. We have decided to take Roddy along weekly to try and get him used to it, all of the staff have been so patient and understanding. Thanks to Heronden the vets has gone from being a bad experience, to a much calmer and relaxed environment for him. John and his staff have looked after Bella and Tilly for over 6yrs now and I truly would not take them anywhere else! Caring, professional, reasonably priced and damn bloody good at what they do!

The vets was amazing! They were the only vets around that had the second vaccination to what my breeders told me to get Came in and the reception loved my puppy Rosie haha, she wanted a cuddle and had a lovely chat Then met the vet person himself, full of information, really interesting things, also done health check on Rosie which was all good Overall, so much information, but amazing visit ! Thank you so much 🐶😁 has been an amazing experience and would recommend! Wished I known sooner as this would be my main vets haha but who knows I might switch

Cannot recommend enough. The thought of having to take our beautiful Tilly to the vets (which she hated) for her final moments was awful but she had deteriorated so quickly and on a bank holiday Monday we thought we might not have any choice. The decision was incredibly hard but Silvergate made the whole process stress free. Tilly was at ease the whole time and it was just as though she had drifted into a peaceful sleep, comfortable in her own home, loved and with her family which is all we could have asked for her. Thankyou for making our final moments with her so peaceful.

Oli came along to my home at very short notice, when it was time for my little cat Mae to be put to sleep . She hated the vets and I didn’t want to put her through that . Oli was so brilliant - kind, professional and respectful . I was dreading the whole thing, but his manner helped to make it all go calmly and smoothly . Thank you Oli 😌

Last week, Wednesday 1st February we had to make the gut wrenching decision to send our 18-year-old cat to heaven after a short battle with cancer. We had already decided that we wanted at-home euthanasia so that our cat Fudge was peaceful and in familiar surroundings. Oli went through the process step by step so that we were aware of the changes that may happen during the process and what to expect. He made sure to let us know exactly what was happening and reassured us that we were making the right decision. Even down to the details of his cremation such as where he was going and who would be doing it. Ensuring us he would be taken care of during his final journey. What was supposed to be a stressful and traumatic experience was turned into a quiet and peaceful send off for our cherished family cat. And for that, we thank you.

We knew it was time to let Roxy go after her diagnosis which was inoperable. She outlived vets prediction by nearly a year but the time had come. I wanted to do it at home so that she didn't experience any stress. For what was the saddest of times, couldn't have experienced a more peaceful send off. Michaela was kind and compassionate, no fuss was made, it was all done very kindly and swiftly as Roxy drifted peacefully away. The crematorium were waiting outside to take her way. Although a heart breaking day it was the best send of for my beloved fur baby and I would highly recommend Silver Gate Vets

The staff at this vet centre are incredible. They care passionately about your beloved pets. They give a 100percent to being friendly helpful and caring and sensitive. I had an elderly Siamese out to sleep during covid. The staff were amazing moving a treatment table to their door way. Masks on doorway open I was able be with my beloved car while she was being put to sleep to say good bye. I was blown away at the trouble the vet and staff went to during such difficult times. Few days later I received a bereavement card from the veterinary and staff the kind gesture brought tears to my eyes. So thoughtful. Years later I have a very nervous Daschund. Once again the amazing vets and staff know exactly how to calm him. So he can receive vaccinations with as little stress as possible. Now despite he is nervous he is so much better as trust has been built between him and the staff. These people really do know their job!! The Best VET CENTRE I’ve ever used. I have no concerns or worries about my dogs as I know they are in safe hands. Thankyou all so much!!

We holiday yearly at Dymchurch and have been for years on two occasions we have had to visit and the staff have been lovely very caring and friendly and explained everything well the vet centre smells nice no pet odours surprisingly and also very clean 😀

We were so worried about her having to go under anaesthetic being an older dog but Radu was so reassuring and talking us through the whole process. He then kept us up to date once she had come round and explained exactly what he had done and through the aftercare process too! So informative and put me at ease knowing our Lola was in being cared for by such a great team! Highly recommend ⭐️

I've not long joined Swale Barn Vets, but so far my experience has been nothing less than fab. Everyone is so caring. I love that they are a properly Vet run practice and not a corporate company run practice that are everywhere these days, this is why I chose Swale Barn. I recently called at short notice as my cat Binx was not himself and off his food, and although there were no appointments they fit him in there and then. The vet, Jane, noted straight away that Binx was a stressy cat, and did everything she needed to do calmly but as quickly as she could so I could get him home ASAP. He was booked in the next day for dental work, i was given an estimate prior so i knew what it would cost. I received a call after the op talking me through the whole procedure and aftercare. They even made sure he was ready for me to pick up early as I was going out that evening. I highly recommend Swale Barn to anyone looking for a caring vets who put the animals and their families first.

First class service. Ronnie is 4 days post op from being castrated, from start to finish they dealt with me faffing and worrying. Due to Ronnie being exempt they adapted to my needs to put my mind at rest, they allowed me to stay with him for initial sedation and then invited me in once op was complete. Their first thought was always my dog and whay made him feel comfortable

Was let down by our vet we thought we had everything covered but we had not phoned easy pet travel thinking we would miss our slot on the tunnel Phoned up he said come now we was 15 minutes away got there he had all the paperwork done and checked. And give us advise about one of our dogs from going there getting to the train and boarding the train 1 hour 30 minutes Can't thank them enough and got to pet check in the lad who was doing the check in saw they had done the paperwork and said that's fine don't need to check easy pet they are spot on every time Thanks again Forgot the cost we had 2 dogs they did both dogs 60% less than our own vet 2 dogs £200 both dogs Price is has October 2024

Absolute game changer! The application was easy and quick, the docs I had to upload confirming the vaccination had an error but this was not rejected or passed back as an issue to me. Instead, Christoph contacted me and my vets and got it sorted with them directly! Whenever in contact with me, he was so polite and friendly! The payment options are also very convenient and the cert costs half the price that my vet asks! I was kept up to date and everything was confirmed and ready for pick up. The directions to the place were detailed and we had no issue finding the place,which is so conveniently located just by EuroTunnel. The pick up was easy and quick and again the service we received was second to none. I could not wish for anything more. I will not use any other services ever again! Thank you! Really easy to arrange online. Collection was quick, friendly and the document explained as it was our first time travelling with our dogs. Much more cost effective than using our own vet. Would highly recommend and would use again for any future requirements.

I took my guinea pigs there and everyone was so accommodating and friendly. Jack was so knowledgeable and really cared for Piggy Smalls - I felt that I could trust them and I couldn’t recommend a better vet.

Our lovely cat Rosemary of 18years, health deteriorated quickly and when we reached out to our own vet of 20years we couldn’t get an appointment within reasonable time. We contacted Medivet Evegate- Montgomery, who gave us the opportunity to attend straight away and we were seen within 15 minutes of arriving. The whole service and compassion from all staff involved (reception lady who was so kind on the phone when I started crying and she led us into a consultation room and offered drinks and tissues, to the kind vet who was with us till the end with Rosemary ) was second to none. We would highly recommend this veterinary practice. We also received a beautiful card in the post today which meant so much to us. Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts!

Had to take my granddog to the vets. I called and got a same day appointment. The vet was really lovely and looked after Ru. The staff were really friendly too.

This was my first visit to a veterinary hospital in the UK with my dog, Skye. She had to have a blood test. Lovely friendly feel to the rooms. Skye was a little unsure at first but soon settled down. Lovely friendly staff made you feel very welcome.
