Absolute game changer! The application was easy and quick, the docs I had to upload confirming the vaccination had an error but this was not rejected or passed back as an issue to me. Instead, Christoph contacted me and my vets and got it sorted with them directly! Whenever in contact with me, he was so polite and friendly! The payment options are also very convenient and the cert costs half the price that my vet asks! I was kept up to date and everything was confirmed and ready for pick up. The directions to the place were detailed and we had no issue finding the place,which is so conveniently located just by EuroTunnel. The pick up was easy and quick and again the service we received was second to none. I could not wish for anything more. I will not use any other services ever again! Thank you! PS. at least you know what you are paying for! ;)

Absolutely amazing service! They are incredibly responsive and called my own vet to request the details from our dogs, and they were very flexible with the collection time as our ferry got rescheduled. The paperwork was very well explained and we crossed the border without issues. And also important, the price is amazing compared to other vets. We will definitely use them again.

Really easy to arrange online. Collection was quick, friendly and the document explained as it was our first time travelling with our dogs. Much more cost effective than using our own vet. Would highly recommend and would use again for any future requirements.

Was let down by our vet we thought we had everything covered but we had not phoned easy pet travel thinking we would miss our slot on the tunnel Phoned up he said come now we was 15 minutes away got there he had all the paperwork done and checked. And give us advise about one of our dogs from going there getting to the train and boarding the train 1 hour 30 minutes Can't thank them enough and got to pet check in the lad who was doing the check in saw they had done the paperwork and said that's fine don't need to check easy pet they are spot on every time Thanks again Forgot the cost we had 2 dogs they did both dogs 60% less than our own vet 2 dogs £200 both dogs Price is has October 2024

After a lifetime of animal family members, I have been a client for many years since the practice opened, and during that time I cannot think of a single thing to fault. I've not long joined Swale Barn Vets, but so far my experience has been nothing less than fab. Everyone is so caring. I love that they are a properly Vet run practice and not a corporate company run practice that are everywhere these days, this is why I chose Swale Barn. I recently called at short notice as my cat Binx was not himself and off his food, and although there were no appointments they fit him in there and then. The vet, Jane, noted straight away that Binx was a stressy cat, and did everything she needed to do calmly but as quickly as she could so I could get him home ASAP. He was booked in the next day for dental work, i was given an estimate prior so i knew what it would cost. I received a call after the op talking me through the whole procedure and aftercare. They even made sure he was ready for me to pick up early as I was going out that evening. I highly recommend Swale Barn to anyone looking for a caring vets who put the animals and their families first.

Visited today, at short notice and was so impressed by the caring and gentleness of the vet and the lovely kind receptionist too. They treated my cat with such care and softness - l was really shocked - our last visit to Pets At Home was awful. Would highly recommend this lovely practice 100%. Thankyou!

Wonderful vet he was honest, caring, gentle and kind to my dog during the examination. He explained everything to me clearly. I rang because I was concerned about my dog and although they were closing at 12 oclock they fitted us in and did not rush the consultation even though it was past closing time. The receptionist was very nice and caring as well. Wonderful vet highly recommended by me and my boy 🐕 .

Peter and his team were expcetionally amazing with customer service knowledge and expertise !! I would highly recommended them so much love and care for the animals and my pup was in the best of hands had an operation we were worried anxious and they all reassured me and promised she will be fine ! Thank you for taking such good care of our dog for her neutering operation yesterday and giving her all the love in advance to keep her settled - it’s lovely to know your staff took it in turns to cuddle her as she didn’t want to go in a crate! First rate experience all round and we appreciated the reassuring feedback after the op and clear after care instructions

Very quick, thoroughly explained everything and possible outcomes from surgery. Got Willow in within 15 mins of consultation and operated. Quick action has probably saved her eyesight. Now on the road to recovery.

We were seen as an emergency when my dog's eye deteriorated (ulcer) They fitted us in without an appointment twice on consecutive days, brilliant advice and care - and the girls on reception were kind and so helpful - I was even made a cuppa as I was there so long! Would HIGHLY recommend!

Oli came along to my home at very short notice, when it was time for my little cat Mae to be put to sleep . She hated the vets and I didn’t want to put her through that . Oli was so brilliant - kind, professional and respectful . I was dreading the whole thing, but his manner helped to make it all go calmly and smoothly . Thank you Oli 😌

On Monday I had to say goodbye to my beloved dog Barney as he had reached the end of his life. It was a very hard decision to make. However, it was made easier by the kind care and guidance provided by the vet Dr Oliver Daniels from Silver Gate Vets, who helped us handle the sad process. Also for arranging everything with Di and Kat from Barnshaw Pet Crematorium. I appreciate the gentle way they collected Barney immediately afterwards and dealt so thoughtfully with his cremation. I am forever grateful for their services.

Cannot recommend enough. The thought of having to take our beautiful Tilly to the vets (which she hated) for her final moments was awful but she had deteriorated so quickly and on a bank holiday Monday we thought we might not have any choice. The decision was incredibly hard but Silvergate made the whole process stress free. Tilly was at ease the whole time and it was just as though she had drifted into a peaceful sleep, comfortable in her own home, loved and with her family which is all we could have asked for her. Thankyou for making our final moments with her so peaceful.

Last week, Wednesday 1st February we had to make the gut wrenching decision to send our 18-year-old cat to heaven after a short battle with cancer. We had already decided that we wanted at-home euthanasia so that our cat Fudge was peaceful and in familiar surroundings. Oli went through the process step by step so that we were aware of the changes that may happen during the process and what to expect. He made sure to let us know exactly what was happening and reassured us that we were making the right decision. Even down to the details of his cremation such as where he was going and who would be doing it. Ensuring us he would be taken care of during his final journey. What was supposed to be a stressful and traumatic experience was turned into a quiet and peaceful send off for our cherished family cat. And for that, we thank you.

We have used this practice since before they were part of Medivet, with our last dog, and they are still as helpful as before. It is not always possible to see the same vet now, due to staff shortages perhaps, but we are always seen as soon as possible, they are great in an emergency and always a very experienced & caring Vet on hand. We have a nervous dog and they are understanding with her. Very helpful staff nurses and reception.

Reassuring and clear explanations of treatment, plan of action, follow-up care. Been a client with various domestic species for decades as service was and remains outstanding.

We are so grateful to this vets practice, they are so friendly and helpful. Victor was amazing and went above and beyond to help our unwell 8 month old baby boy, who had been speared in the back of the throat by a stick. The care he has received has been outstanding and he's already well on his way to being the bouncy lad he was before. We thank you all for being so lovely and definitely recommend this practice to anyone, no matter the situation, they always try to help. We will never forget the amazing service we have received. An outstanding & compassionate service. Our elderly dog needed an emergency vet & from the first phone call to the latest visit we have never felt more at ease or listened to. Due to her age we have had to see vets quite frequently & John and his team are the best you could ever hope for. You truly see the personal touch and the love for animals that chains don't offer. Even for end of life care we could not go somewhere else. The pricing structure is very reasonable and test results explained so well. I will be recommending these vets to everyone we know. A hidden gem and we are so thankful to have found them.

Our dog had an emergency CT scan yesterday and the care and compassion was fantastic. Not only for our woofy but also for us as my husband had a medical incident whilst running through her treatment. I cannot thank the vets enough and the other staff who took it in their stride and saw to my husband as well as our dog: I’m sorry I don’t know all your names to mention you personally but your acts of kindness were amazing.
