Calm, professional, considerate, not rushed. Thorough approach, great people skills as well as being rightly animal-focused. Reassuring and clear explanations of treatment, plan of action, follow-up care. Been a client with various domestic species for decades as service was and remains outstanding.

We have used this practice since before they were part of Medivet, with our last dog, and they are still as helpful as before. It is not always possible to see the same vet now, due to staff shortages perhaps, but we are always seen as soon as possible, they are great in an emergency and always a very experienced & caring Vet on hand. We have a nervous dog and they are understanding with her. Very helpful staff nurses and reception.

Last week, Wednesday 1st February we had to make the gut wrenching decision to send our 18-year-old cat to heaven after a short battle with cancer. We had already decided that we wanted at-home euthanasia so that our cat Fudge was peaceful and in familiar surroundings. Oli went through the process step by step so that we were aware of the changes that may happen during the process and what to expect. He made sure to let us know exactly what was happening and reassured us that we were making the right decision. Even down to the details of his cremation such as where he was going and who would be doing it. Ensuring us he would be taken care of during his final journey. What was supposed to be a stressful and traumatic experience was turned into a quiet and peaceful send off for our cherished family cat. And for that, we thank you.

Oli came along to my home at very short notice, when it was time for my little cat Mae to be put to sleep . She hated the vets and I didn’t want to put her through that . Oli was so brilliant - kind, professional and respectful . I was dreading the whole thing, but his manner helped to make it all go calmly and smoothly . Thank you Oli 😌

Cannot recommend enough. The thought of having to take our beautiful Tilly to the vets (which she hated) for her final moments was awful but she had deteriorated so quickly and on a bank holiday Monday we thought we might not have any choice. The decision was incredibly hard but Silvergate made the whole process stress free. Tilly was at ease the whole time and it was just as though she had drifted into a peaceful sleep, comfortable in her own home, loved and with her family which is all we could have asked for her. Thankyou for making our final moments with her so peaceful.

On Monday I had to say goodbye to my beloved dog Barney as he had reached the end of his life. It was a very hard decision to make. However, it was made easier by the kind care and guidance provided by the vet Dr Oliver Daniels from Silver Gate Vets, who helped us handle the sad process. Also for arranging everything with Di and Kat from Barnshaw Pet Crematorium. I appreciate the gentle way they collected Barney immediately afterwards and dealt so thoughtfully with his cremation. I am forever grateful for their services.

Lovely vets, easily accessible with a very clean and calm reception are. Receptionist was super friendly and helpful and the vet was very knowledgeable and great with my new puppy

All the reception staff are so helpful on the phone and when I take my dog. The vets and the nurses are fantastic. Always feel very welcome and informed. Like a family practise. Highly recommend Bourne.

Been with this Veterinary Practice since it opened for routine cat health checks and vaccinations but it is so reassuring to be able to book an emergency appointment online at night to be seen first thing the next morning. All staff are welcoming and caring. Good to be told costs throughout consultation so that there isn’t a shock when going to pay. Thoroughly recommend this veterinary practice.

I've not long joined Swale Barn Vets, but so far my experience has been nothing less than fab. Everyone is so caring. I love that they are a properly Vet run practice and not a corporate company run practice that are everywhere these days, this is why I chose Swale Barn. I recently called at short notice as my cat Binx was not himself and off his food, and although there were no appointments they fit him in there and then. The vet, Jane, noted straight away that Binx was a stressy cat, and did everything she needed to do calmly but as quickly as she could so I could get him home ASAP. He was booked in the next day for dental work, i was given an estimate prior so i knew what it would cost. I received a call after the op talking me through the whole procedure and aftercare. They even made sure he was ready for me to pick up early as I was going out that evening. I highly recommend Swale Barn to anyone looking for a caring vets who put the animals and their families first.

Wonderful vet he was honest, caring, gentle and kind to my dog during the examination. He explained everything to me clearly. I rang because I was concerned about my dog and although they were closing at 12 oclock they fitted us in and did not rush the consultation even though it was past closing time. The receptionist was very nice and caring as well. Wonderful vet highly recommended by me and my boy 🐕 .

First class service. Ronnie is 4 days post op from being castrated, from start to finish they dealt with me faffing and worrying. Due to Ronnie being exempt they adapted to my needs to put my mind at rest, they allowed me to stay with him for initial sedation and then invited me in once op was complete. Their first thought was always my dog and whay made him feel comfortable

Thankyou so much to the amazing team at swale barn vets for giving our Lola the best possible care today! We were so worried about her having to go under anaesthetic being an older dog but Radu was so reassuring and talking us through the whole process. He then kept us up to date once she had come round and explained exactly what he had done and through the aftercare process too! So informative and put me at ease knowing our Lola was in being cared for by such a great team! Highly recommend ⭐️

Anyone who is in need of a vet from anywhere in the country I highly recommend this practice! I will only use this practice and I am 2.5 hours away. Amazing service and they actually has care for your animals! Thank you soo much guys 😊

I cannot express my gratitude to John and his team for the dignity and respect he gave to my beloved cat, Thomas, when it was time for him to pass 🙏 He turned a heartbreaking event into a beautiful moment that will comfort me for years to come. I highly recommend.

An outstanding & compassionate service. Our elderly dog needed an emergency vet & from the first phone call to the latest visit we have never felt more at ease or listened to. Due to her age we have had to see vets quite frequently & John and his team are the best you could ever hope for. You truly see the personal touch and the love for animals that chains don't offer. Even for end of life care we could not go somewhere else. The pricing structure is very reasonable and test results explained so well. I will be recommending these vets to everyone we know. A hidden gem and we are so thankful to have found them.

John and Saba were absolutely amazing with our recent tragic and unexpected loss of our cat Bella. John saw us without hesitation and spent 1hr with us 10:30pm to 11:30pm Friday night. He administered multiple medications and pain killers to make Bella more comfortable over night. We then called John and Sabba out for a home visit on Saturday morning when we had to make the devastating decision to put Bella to sleep. John and Saba dealt with Bella and us with great compassion and we can’t thank them both enough for their kindness and efforts to make Bella as comfortable as possible and to allow us to say goodbye to Bella at home rather than having to take her into the practice. We shall be forever grateful ❤️ xx

Peter and his team were expcetionally amazing with customer service knowledge and expertise !! I would highly recommended them so much love and care for the animals and my pup was in the best of hands had an operation we were worried anxious and they all reassured me and promised she will be fine ! Thank you to them and Peter the vet she is healthy happy pup and is recovering from the procedure . I can’t thank them enough for what they did your are all amazing I would give more than 5* . I am very happy with the treatment my dog has received at Canterbury Veterinary Surgery. She was diagnosed a year ago with heart failure, and thanks to the care and treatment she has received from Peter and the team she is still enjoying life. I'm so pleased that she is receiving treatment here, well worth the journey from Deal!

Thank you for taking such good care of our dog for her neutering operation yesterday and giving her all the love in advance to keep her settled - it’s lovely to know your staff took it in turns to cuddle her as she didn’t want to go in a crate! First rate experience all round and we appreciated the reassuring feedback after the op and clear after care instructions

Very quick, thoroughly explained everything and possible outcomes from surgery. Got Willow in within 15 mins of consultation and operated. Quick action has probably saved her eyesight. Now on the road to recovery.

Our lovely cat Rosemary of 18years, health deteriorated quickly and when we reached out to our own vet of 20years we couldn’t get an appointment within reasonable time. We contacted Medivet Evegate- Montgomery, who gave us the opportunity to attend straight away and we were seen within 15 minutes of arriving. The whole service and compassion from all staff involved (reception lady who was so kind on the phone when I started crying and she led us into a consultation room and offered drinks and tissues, to the kind vet who was with us till the end with Rosemary ) was second to none. We would highly recommend this veterinary practice. We also received a beautiful card in the post today which meant so much to us. Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts!

I took my guinea pigs there and everyone was so accommodating and friendly. Jack was so knowledgeable and really cared for Piggy Smalls - I felt that I could trust them and I couldn’t recommend a better vet.

Faultless service from first contact. The kindness and support shown when my lovely old boa constrictor sadly had to be put to sleep was amazing, right up to and including when he was collected for cremation. Would 100% recommend this practice!!

Really easy to arrange online. Collection was quick, friendly and the document explained as it was our first time travelling with our dogs. Much more cost effective than using our own vet. Would highly recommend and would use again for any future requirements.

Absolutely amazing service! They are incredibly responsive and called my own vet to request the details from our dogs, and they were very flexible with the collection time as our ferry got rescheduled. The paperwork was very well explained and we crossed the border without issues. And also important, the price is amazing compared to other vets. We will definitely use them again.

Absolute game changer! The application was easy and quick, the docs I had to upload confirming the vaccination had an error but this was not rejected or passed back as an issue to me. Instead, Christoph contacted me and my vets and got it sorted with them directly! Whenever in contact with me, he was so polite and friendly! The payment options are also very convenient and the cert costs half the price that my vet asks! I was kept up to date and everything was confirmed and ready for pick up. The directions to the place were detailed and we had no issue finding the place,which is so conveniently located just by EuroTunnel. The pick up was easy and quick and again the service we received was second to none. I could not wish for anything more. I will not use any other services ever again! Thank you! I really can't find the right words to say how grateful i am to everyone at barton vets . Their care and dedication to my cat "Dotty" definitely saved her life !!. They were all very kind to me as I was a total wreck . She stayed 5 nights and 6 days . They brought her back from the brink . Incredible vets! Have been with them for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. I managed to take my dog in for not only an appointment, but also an operation on the same day to fix a badly damaged nail on his paw. Pol the surgeon was amazing, very knowledgeable and super calm. Would highly recommend.
