I cannot recommend these vets enough. They have been so kind and caring while looking after my rabbit Lily. They always made appointments available, often at very short notice as her health deteriorated. The compassion and empathy they displayed at the end of Lily’s life was comforting and respectful. I had her cremated and they all signed a sympathy card with a touching hand written message. They also had taken footprints and a cutting of her hair. I can’t thank all the staff enough for making Lily’s last few months a peaceful and happy experience. I will be forever grateful ❤️

The best vets!! My dog use to be petrified at his old vets. Would shake uncontrollably and run for the door. Which gave me major anxiety at the thought of taking him to the vet with how he behaved. Now at bobbing hill he pulls me to the door, goes in and makes himself at home. Lays right out on the floor, has to say hello to everyone in there. He thinks of it as a day out even after surgery there which I thought would change his mind. Everyone he’s seen just love on him, get down to his level and play and give him attention which I think is what’s won him over. They all love him as their own. It’s such a pleasant experience for the both of us. They are super transparent with prices, there are no hidden costs like other vets. Yes slightly more expensive compared to other vets but I would pay that and more for the treatment me and my dog get. After his surgery in the following days I’ve had calls to check up on him and ask if I need anything etc.. they want to see him post opp 2 times before giving him the all clear and these are FREE!! I would have paid anyway but it was such a nice surprise as other vets would certainly charge for check ups. It just shows they care. It’s beautifully decorated and feels super homely. Always so so clean. Thank you for everything so far in the 3 months we’ve been with you. I so wish I had moved him sooner! Glad we have found a vets for life💙

This is the best vets. I have nothing but positive things to say about Bobbing Hill vets. All of the staff here are fabulous. Kind and caring and the most personable and the best at what they do. They have looked after my cat's bad eyes for two months with a very lucky outcome. We have visited today, a nice visit with a nice cup of coffee and a Christmas present for the boy 😻. Thank you again.

The updates we received while Mr Grey was in their care were refreshing to say the least. The prompt treatment and after care he received could not have been better. This is, by far, the best veterinary service we have ever known. The vets, nurses and receptionists work as an amazing team and provide the best care we have ever experienced. All of our animals are registered here and have all received excellent care and attention, especially in the saddest of circumstances where we had our elderly lab, Maia, put to sleep. The compassion shown to us and her was exemplary and we received a beautiful handwritten card, signed by all the team, which included her nose and paw prints for us to keep. The vet, Tim, made a very sad situation so much easier by explaining everything and letting us take as much time with her as we wanted. We received her ashes back within two days in a beautiful photo frame and some "forget me nots" to plant for her. Lovely location, lovely vets and total value for money for the excellent service received. Thank you so much for taking such care of our lovely Maia. Xx

First visit with a new puppy and I was very happy. Lovely staff, who were knowledgeable and well informed. We even got a puppy gift bag with the vaccines administered. I usually deal with their sister branch in Ashford but on this occasion used the Lydd location. From beginning to end the service was excellent. I was greeted by very friendly receptionist and we were seen on time by the vet. Our concerns were listened to and appropriate psycho ed was communicated well. We were given a nice little treat for our pup as a thank you for using the Lydd branch given Ashford was our usual and nearest location.

Friendly staff and accommodating although, much like everything these days, prices are quite a lot. Although they offer pet plans with discounts. Isn't wheelchair friendly as a large step at the front door, and steep ramp outside leading to the step. Staff will make alternative arrangement though, including taking your pet and returning them at the door, offer seating, water for pets and is clean.

We had an emergency when visiting Camber Sands with our puppy who was bitten by another dog. I called this vet and they saw her right away and our experience was excellent. In what was a very stressful situation, the staff were all amazing and provided exceptional care. We can’t thank the team enough!

Amazing staff, all are very friendly and helpful. Have been coming here for the last 7 years and wouldn't use anyone else. My 14 year old cat had a bad experience with another vet and will only trust one vet, who is at this surgery. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful vet he was honest, caring, gentle and kind to my dog during the examination. He explained everything to me clearly. I rang because I was concerned about my dog and although they were closing at 12 oclock they fitted us in and did not rush the consultation even though it was past closing time. The receptionist was very nice and caring as well. Wonderful vet highly recommended by me and my boy 🐕 .

Thankyou so much to the amazing team at swale barn vets for giving our Lola the best possible care today! We were so worried about her having to go under anaesthetic being an older dog but Radu was so reassuring and talking us through the whole process. He then kept us up to date once she had come round and explained exactly what he had done and through the aftercare process too! I've not long joined Swale Barn Vets, but so far my experience has been nothing less than fab. Everyone is so caring. I love that they are a properly Vet run practice and not a corporate company run practice that are everywhere these days, this is why I chose Swale Barn. I recently called at short notice as my cat Binx was not himself and off his food, and although there were no appointments they fit him in there and then. The vet, Jane, noted straight away that Binx was a stressy cat, and did everything she needed to do calmly but as quickly as she could so I could get him home ASAP. He was booked in the next day for dental work, i was given an estimate prior so i knew what it would cost. I received a call after the op talking me through the whole procedure and aftercare. They even made sure he was ready for me to pick up early as I was going out that evening. I highly recommend Swale Barn to anyone looking for a caring vets who put the animals and their families first.

First class service. Ronnie is 4 days post op from being castrated, from start to finish they dealt with me faffing and worrying. Due to Ronnie being exempt they adapted to my needs to put my mind at rest, they allowed me to stay with him for initial sedation and then invited me in once op was complete. Their first thought was always my dog and whay made him feel comfortable

Cannot recommend enough. The thought of having to take our beautiful Tilly to the vets (which she hated) for her final moments was awful but she had deteriorated so quickly and on a bank holiday Monday we thought we might not have any choice. The decision was incredibly hard but Silvergate made the whole process stress free. Tilly was at ease the whole time and it was just as though she had drifted into a peaceful sleep, comfortable in her own home, loved and with her family which is all we could have asked for her. Thankyou for making our final moments with her so peaceful.

Oli came along to my home at very short notice, when it was time for my little cat Mae to be put to sleep . She hated the vets and I didn’t want to put her through that . We knew it was time to let Roxy go after her diagnosis which was inoperable. She outlived vets prediction by nearly a year but the time had come. I wanted to do it at home so that she didn't experience any stress. For what was the saddest of times, couldn't have experienced a more peaceful send off. Michaela was kind and compassionate, no fuss was made, it was all done very kindly and swiftly as Roxy drifted peacefully away. The crematorium were waiting outside to take her way. Although a heart breaking day it was the best send of for my beloved fur baby and I would highly recommend Silver Gate Vets

Last week, Wednesday 1st February we had to make the gut wrenching decision to send our 18-year-old cat to heaven after a short battle with cancer. We had already decided that we wanted at-home euthanasia so that our cat Fudge was peaceful and in familiar surroundings. Oli went through the process step by step so that we were aware of the changes that may happen during the process and what to expect. He made sure to let us know exactly what was happening and reassured us that we were making the right decision. Even down to the details of his cremation such as where he was going and who would be doing it. Ensuring us he would be taken care of during his final journey. What was supposed to be a stressful and traumatic experience was turned into a quiet and peaceful send off for our cherished family cat. And for that, we thank you.

On Monday I had to say goodbye to my beloved dog Barney as he had reached the end of his life. It was a very hard decision to make. However, it was made easier by the kind care and guidance provided by the vet Dr Oliver Daniels from Silver Gate Vets, who helped us handle the sad process. Also for arranging everything with Di and Kat from Barnshaw Pet Crematorium. I appreciate the gentle way they collected Barney immediately afterwards and dealt so thoughtfully with his cremation. I am forever grateful for their services.

Absolute game changer! The application was easy and quick, the docs I had to upload confirming the vaccination had an error but this was not rejected or passed back as an issue to me. Instead, Christoph contacted me and my vets and got it sorted with them directly! Whenever in contact with me, he was so polite and friendly! The payment options are also very convenient and the cert costs half the price that my vet asks! I was kept up to date and everything was confirmed and ready for pick up. The directions to the place were detailed and we had no issue finding the place,which is so conveniently located just by EuroTunnel. The pick up was easy and quick and again the service we received was second to none. I could not wish for anything more. I will not use any other services ever again! Thank you! Absolutely amazing service! They are incredibly responsive and called my own vet to request the details from our dogs, and they were very flexible with the collection time as our ferry got rescheduled. The paperwork was very well explained and we crossed the border without issues. And also important, the price is amazing compared to other vets. We will definitely use them again.

Our lovely cat Rosemary of 18years, health deteriorated quickly and when we reached out to our own vet of 20years we couldn’t get an appointment within reasonable time. We contacted Medivet Evegate- Montgomery, who gave us the opportunity to attend straight away and we were seen within 15 minutes of arriving. The whole service and compassion from all staff involved (reception lady who was so kind on the phone when I started crying and she led us into a consultation room and offered drinks and tissues, to the kind vet who was with us till the end with Rosemary ) was second to none. We would highly recommend this veterinary practice. We also received a beautiful card in the post today which meant so much to us. Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts!

Sarah was recommended to us by our local vet at Cinque Ports Vets. Hugo, our Golden Retriever puppy, had been suffering from a lameness in one leg from very early on in his life. Hugo took to Sarah quickly and responded well to the treatment. Sarah was brilliant at giving feedback and gave me some tips to help him at home. She was also happy to refer him on to other treatments when needed. Between Sarah’s work and his physio we have seen great improvement. Highly recommend

On arrival we were warmly welcomed, our dog was quite keen to go into Sarah’s clinic room it was something positive, he felt comfortable and relaxed about being there. That was a good sign! Following an in-depth conversation Sarah worked on her physical assessment this was choice lead by her fury client and positively reinforced all the way. Yes there was some interesting ‘doggy talk’ to our dog during the examination, however she was informative to what was being done. Sarah is knowledgeable and keen to do what is best for the animals whom she cares for. We felt that Sarah would not advise anything or make unnecessary referrals unless she honestly felt that would be beneficial. Sarah really has your loved ones best interest at heart. Aside from the clinic time I could see how much work is put into her clients all of this running behind the scenes. Now… it is time to get on with the prescribed “homework” We are looking forward to coming back in the next couple of months. Our dog absolutely loved working with Sarah. We could this see with his body language he was having fun. He engaged with her, even though it was an assessment and therapeutic treatment session he loved it! Sarah has been invaluable with her knowledge of chronic pain for my dog who suffers with arthritis in most of her joints and spine at the age of only 8. She was quick to respond to my initial enquiry and make contact with my vets for a referral. She is totally professional, really good value for money and always goes the extra mile to offer advice and other treatments to help reduce my dog’s pain. Not to mention the fact she has been so flexible in offering appointment times to fit in with my busy schedule. I was at a bit of loss with our traditional veterinary practice and I’m so glad I found Sarah when I did.

Sarah has been treating my two rescue German Shepherds who both have orthopaedic problems. As a behaviourist I am only too aware of the link between pain and behaviour. But with her vast knowledge and gentle handling techniques we have seen some fantastic results. One of my shepherds who was particularly resistant to being touched due to pain is now enjoying her myotherapy sessions. Sarah is a true professional and delight to work with. I highly recommend her services.

Sarah is amazing. She has helped my dog Henry so much manage his pain in a holistic way and I love that it involves a herbal mix and acupuncture as well as his medication. She has such a lovely way with him and he loves coming to see her(also to do with the treats and peanut butter he gets) and so pleased she is involved in keeping my boy to his optimum in his older years. On Wednesday morning, my doggy was still in a lot of pain with her back from a visit to the seaside the Saturday before. By Thursday evening the treatment had worked and she was able to jump back on the sofa, as well as run around with her brothers and stand up at the window again. Took the family pet dog to the vets as she has developed lameness on her front left leg, which she did not previously have. The surgery is well kept and always clean and tidy. The Vet examination was very good, with the vet taking on everything that we explained about the dog and her normal self. A thorough examination followed and optional medications were discussed. The dog was prescribed medication for pain relief and will return for follow up consultations. Overall very pleased with the professionalism and polite service provided. I would recommend this surgery for anyone who needs pet treatment.
