I've not long joined Swale Barn Vets, but so far my experience has been nothing less than fab. Everyone is so caring. I love that they are a properly Vet run practice and not a corporate company run practice that are everywhere these days, this is why I chose Swale Barn. I recently called at short notice as my cat Binx was not himself and off his food, and although there were no appointments they fit him in there and then. The vet, Jane, noted straight away that Binx was a stressy cat, and did everything she needed to do calmly but as quickly as she could so I could get him home ASAP. He was booked in the next day for dental work, i was given an estimate prior so i knew what it would cost. I received a call after the op talking me through the whole procedure and aftercare. They even made sure he was ready for me to pick up early as I was going out that evening. I highly recommend Swale Barn to anyone looking for a caring vets who put the animals and their families first.

Visited today, at short notice and was so impressed by the caring and gentleness of the vet and the lovely kind receptionist too. They treated my cat with such care and softness - l was really shocked - our last visit to Pets At Home was awful. Would highly recommend this lovely practice 100%. Thankyou!

First class service. Ronnie is 4 days post op from being castrated, from start to finish they dealt with me faffing and worrying. Due to Ronnie being exempt they adapted to my needs to put my mind at rest, they allowed me to stay with him for initial sedation and then invited me in once op was complete. Their first thought was always my dog and whay made him feel comfortable

Wonderful vet he was honest, caring, gentle and kind to my dog during the examination. He explained everything to me clearly. I rang because I was concerned about my dog and although they were closing at 12 oclock they fitted us in and did not rush the consultation even though it was past closing time. The receptionist was very nice and caring as well. Wonderful vet highly recommended by me and my boy 🐕 .

Absolutely amazing service! They are incredibly responsive and called my own vet to request the details from our dogs, and they were very flexible with the collection time as our ferry got rescheduled. The paperwork was very well explained and we crossed the border without issues. And also important, the price is amazing compared to other vets. We will definitely use them again.

Really easy to arrange online. Collection was quick, friendly and the document explained as it was our first time travelling with our dogs. Much more cost effective than using our own vet. Would highly recommend and would use again for any future requirements.

Was let down by our vet we thought we had everything covered but we had not phoned easy pet travel thinking we would miss our slot on the tunnel Phoned up he said come now we was 15 minutes away got there he had all the paperwork done and checked. And give us advise about one of our dogs from going there getting to the train and boarding the train 1 hour 30 minutes Can't thank them enough and got to pet check in the lad who was doing the check in saw they had done the paperwork and said that's fine don't need to check easy pet they are spot on every time Thanks again Forgot the cost we had 2 dogs they did both dogs 60% less than our own vet 2 dogs £200 both dogs Price is has October 2024

Absolute game changer! The application was easy and quick, the docs I had to upload confirming the vaccination had an error but this was not rejected or passed back as an issue to me. Instead, Christoph contacted me and my vets and got it sorted with them directly! Whenever in contact with me, he was so polite and friendly! The payment options are also very convenient and the cert costs half the price that my vet asks! I was kept up to date and everything was confirmed and ready for pick up. The directions to the place were detailed and we had no issue finding the place,which is so conveniently located just by EuroTunnel. The pick up was easy and quick and again the service we received was second to none. I could not wish for anything more. I will not use any other services ever again! Thank you! PS. at least you know what you are paying for! ;)

Have always had excellent experience at the vets, always friendly & very happy to give advice when needed ,every single member of staff are very approachable, would recommend to any pet owner who wants a good caring vet.

John and his staff have looked after Bella and Tilly for over 6yrs now and I truly would not take them anywhere else! Caring, professional, reasonably priced and damn bloody good at what they do!

Staff are always friendly and helpful. We get the best care and the VIP club makes it really affordable. We wouldn't take our pets anywhere else!

Great experience friendly super helpful staff. I was able to book my kitty cat in for the same day as she had hurt her leg treatment was thorougher and quick. Very gentle with her and gave us loads of information to help support her recovery.

Our lovely cat Rosemary of 18years, health deteriorated quickly and when we reached out to our own vet of 20years we couldn’t get an appointment within reasonable time. We contacted Medivet Evegate- Montgomery, who gave us the opportunity to attend straight away and we were seen within 15 minutes of arriving. The whole service and compassion from all staff involved (reception lady who was so kind on the phone when I started crying and she led us into a consultation room and offered drinks and tissues, to the kind vet who was with us till the end with Rosemary ) was second to none. We would highly recommend this veterinary practice. We also received a beautiful card in the post today which meant so much to us. Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts!

Faultless service from first contact. The kindness and support shown when my lovely old boa constrictor sadly had to be put to sleep was amazing, right up to and including when he was collected for cremation. Would 100% recommend this practice!!

We have been with Pennards for five years with our shih tzu Bubbles, they have always been very helpful, friendly, accommodating and caring. She went to the puppy classes too which was great for her socialising We would definitely recommend this clinic, as well as Sevenoaks when Bubbles was neutered there

I’ve been with the vet practice for over seven years. The care has always been excellent. And really helpful. Leaving a review today as my cockapoo had surgery and everything was superb. Lots of info before and after -sent on email as well . Great support from the vet team. And one dog who is still excited to go to the vets!

The best vet I have ever used. Very supportive and expert staff with a really lovely team atmosphere. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

We have been very lucky to have this vet close to us and they have always provided excellent care for our four cats including directly, through referring and through helping with tests. I was compelled to write a review after 8 years however because we had to make the very hard decision to have our cat put to sleep after a very sudden illness and Vicky was a fantastic support during this time. She did what she could to make the process calm and reassured me throughout. They also arranged for the cremation and saved me a little clipping of fur and paw print to keep which has meant the world. Whitstable Bay also liaised with a specialist vet to ensure that they had all the right info to provide us and to help us understand what was happening. They have always helped with any concerns that our cats have presented with including eye conditions, weight loss and we have never felt judged about how we treat our cats (one of ours is very anti-brush/groom and does get very matted and the nurses have supported us with this at times).

Adam, Vicky and their team are absolutely amazing. They have two of our dogs on pet plans and are amazing with them. They have also recently helped us say farewell to our other dog. Everyone who dealt with us was amazing and empathetic, nothing was to much to ask and they are without a doubt the best vets any where. Thank you for all you do and thank you for helping us through a tough time. Special thanks to Vicky and Emily who were so amazing, to the point that Emily stayed with our dog until Treasured Friends collected her. We are forever grateful.

Having been accepted with a 13 year old dog with terminal heart problems, can’t fault the care and compassion shown by the vets and all the staff. The way the at home PTS was handled will always warm my heart. So no question where our new rescue (Penny) would be registered. Three years on, we have recommended many, even though we have to travel 9 miles to get to the vets, would not consider changing. My only concern is over the new booking system “PetsApp”. Very professional, from counter staff to the vet that did attend to my young dog. I very pleasant experience for me as well. The only downside was the lack of buses.....but it not there fault !!!! Car next time as parking available, but as first time I was unsure. A good selection of treats & toys leashes at very good prices 🙂🙂🙂

Friendly, independently owned practice. Reception staff are efficient and wecoming and the vets are thorough and don't rush you. Bonus is parking!

My little friend Maximus, working cocker, decides to chew and swallow my wife’s sock. On phoning our vet, George answered and without any hesitation asked me to bring him in. This was an out of hours call, 9.35pm. In short, the calm and immediate response from George saved my friend, I am in your debt and extremely grateful as always. First time there. My pomeranian had kennel cough vaccination. Very welcoming staff, vet too. So glad we registered there now.

On Monday I had to say goodbye to my beloved dog Barney as he had reached the end of his life. It was a very hard decision to make. However, it was made easier by the kind care and guidance provided by the vet Dr Oliver Daniels from Silver Gate Vets, who helped us handle the sad process. Also for arranging everything with Di and Kat from Barnshaw Pet Crematorium. I appreciate the gentle way they collected Barney immediately afterwards and dealt so thoughtfully with his cremation. I am forever grateful for their services.

Last week, Wednesday 1st February we had to make the gut wrenching decision to send our 18-year-old cat to heaven after a short battle with cancer. We had already decided that we wanted at-home euthanasia so that our cat Fudge was peaceful and in familiar surroundings. Oli went through the process step by step so that we were aware of the changes that may happen during the process and what to expect. He made sure to let us know exactly what was happening and reassured us that we were making the right decision. Even down to the details of his cremation such as where he was going and who would be doing it. Ensuring us he would be taken care of during his final journey. What was supposed to be a stressful and traumatic experience was turned into a quiet and peaceful send off for our cherished family cat. And for that, we thank you.

We knew it was time to let Roxy go after her diagnosis which was inoperable. She outlived vets prediction by nearly a year but the time had come. I wanted to do it at home so that she didn't experience any stress. For what was the saddest of times, couldn't have experienced a more peaceful send off. Michaela was kind and compassionate, no fuss was made, it was all done very kindly and swiftly as Roxy drifted peacefully away. The crematorium were waiting outside to take her way. Although a heart breaking day it was the best send of for my beloved fur baby and I would highly recommend Silver Gate Vets

Cannot recommend enough. The thought of having to take our beautiful Tilly to the vets (which she hated) for her final moments was awful but she had deteriorated so quickly and on a bank holiday Monday we thought we might not have any choice. The decision was incredibly hard but Silvergate made the whole process stress free. Tilly was at ease the whole time and it was just as though she had drifted into a peaceful sleep, comfortable in her own home, loved and with her family which is all we could have asked for her. Thankyou for making our final moments with her so peaceful.

They have been very supportive with my poorly cat and are trying everything to make him feel better so definitely 5 stars

Pennard vets are great. Really friendly and helpful. I recommend the health club. The vets & nurses take their time explaining how best to look after your pet through illness & post surgery. They are caring & compassionate. Our dog & cats always have a stress free time at their appointments.

Pennards have been extremely caring with our cat Pixel. He’s had a lot of problems but overcomes them with the vet’s expertise, with a special mention to Joanna for helping Pixel so much. Pennards in my opinion is outstanding and I am glad I chose them.

I moved to Pennard vets recently, and I have never had a better experience with pet care as I have done with Pennards. They give each animal 100% care, and meet their needs. My boy is a very nervous dog. And they go above and beyond anything I could ever ask for, to ensure he doesn't get stressed or agitated. He is given so much love when he visits and they really do take so much pride in what they do. I couldnt recommend pennards more highly if I tried.

The receptionists are caring, helpful and compassionate. The many vets I have seen here have all been excellent over the last 10 years or so. A very special shout out to a lovely vet, Alice. A true god send and a beautiful soul who managed to remove a chicken bone from my cats throat and on a hunch carried out some further tests. My cat has now been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, is receiving medication and due to have treatment soon. Even now she has a new lease of life. Thankyou so much to such a wonderful team

Sadly, my cat had to be euthanized. The vet was so kind and gave me time to call my daughter so she could come and say goodbye. She was very gentle with her and it was a peaceful end.

I can't knock the professionalism of companion care Crayford, Alice and suzanna are just perfect in times of need and just normal consultations, they say it as it is and no sugar coating, brilliant bed side manner too, they care about your pet and you too. I can't forget the excellence reception staff either, always on point, always cheerful and there to help. 15/10 and recommend
