Grand tutors is an excellent tutoring school. My son attended the school for only 7 weeks during the Summer holiday, and then went on to pass the 11 plus with a high score. I have been using outreach tuition for my son who has ADHD since March 2021. My son really struggles with focusing in lessons. Particular in Maths and found the transition from primary to secondary quiet overwhelming. I approached outreach as they were recommended. I have to say that from the outset they really listened to what my son was struggling with and matched him to an excellent tutor who has managed to give my son real confidence within his subject. I can’t recommend them enough. The whole team are friendly and know exactly what difficulties special education children face.

My daughter has recently received tutoring from Outreach Tuition and I couldn’t be happier with the service they provided. Both Di and Don her English and Maths/Science tutors were very kind, friendly and supportive and made her feel very comfortable as she was a little nervous to begin with. Outreach tuition were able to include my daughter into their timetable very quickly and were very flexible with Jodie able to rearrange lessons around my daughters appointments or how she was feeling on the day sometimes at very short notice which was greatly appreciated. I’ve had many English tutors throughout my GCSE studies but Emma has by far been the best one, she has helped me increase my grades in English by an incredible 5 grades in the short time she taught me (from my year 10 mock to my actual GCSE’s!). Emma gave me great advice on how to approach exam style questions including how to efficiently answer questions. Emma was able to identify exactly what I struggled with in English which I didn’t even know my self and worked on that issue which ultimately lead to me getting a grade 8 in English language. Emma is such an incredible teacher I would highly recommend her lessons!

Without Emma, I could never have achieved a grade 9 in both English literature and language. Before starting my tutoring, my grades were at 6’s and 7’s and I didn’t know what I could do better to improve them. But once Emma started tutoring me, I began to discover my strengths and weaknesses. She increased my confidence and is incredibly supportive and kind. She is an exceptional tutor and I am 100% positive that anyone who chooses her to tutor them, will definitely improve their grades and confidence in English.

We cannot speak more highly of her exceptional teaching ability and particular skills in enhancing exam technique. Very approachable and flexible tutors with whom our daughters studied mainly maths during Years 10 and 11. They always listened to the girls' maths/science anxieties and gave them confidence. Their approach is to teach methods and offer exam practice so our daughters had lots of different types of help. Always happy to go over mock papers they had done in class. They really did make a difference to their grades.

Leesa tutored both my sons for the Kent test, the eldest remotely during a Covid lockdown. They both passed with flying colours. Rosie is a brilliant tutor, my daughter loved going to her because she is exceptionally kind and patient, and she really helped her improve in all areas of the 11+ study.
