My son made very steady and very fast progress with his maths ,all due to the amazing mathematics program Kumon has got in place. Kumon built confidence in him which he did not have at the time of joining.He started getting good remarks from the school which was very thrilling to hear. I recommend Kumon to any kid at any grade as it’s never late to start with Kumon, The team there are excellent at how to take your kid to the higher gear within a very short space of time.

I have attended many day courses and now attend a weekly glass class. I have also created some mosaic pieces. I have had a fabulous time each and everytime I come. The teacher is down to earth, all others that attend are friendly and I find it is a social event as well as a arty crafty one! Not only does the teacher help with your project but also advises on what you can use at home. I highly recommend 😊

Started a glass course here today, loved it! No need to buy expensive tools or glass, everything is supplied and included in the class price. Such friendly and helpful tutors. Would recommend to anyone except I want to make sure there is still space for me 🙂!

Love going to Teach me courses. Fabulous place to learn lots of new crafts. Yolanda and her family are friendly, professional, talented and have a great sense of humour. They make you feel very welcome, as do all of the other people who go along to the courses. Nothing is too much for them, everyone is welcoming and helpful. Have learnt so much already!

The glass workshops on offer are amazing, so many options to try. We are supported in all our designs and creative choices. Yolanda is patient and my 15 year old daughter also loves coming and trying new things. Recommend coming to try a project or a day workshop.

Richard has been a fantastic tutor for my Daughter, who is shy, nervous and was very reluctant to go to a tutor! Richard was amazing at putting her at ease from the off, creating a positive learning environment, tailoring to her needs and making it fun. She originally saw him to give her confidence in her maths and English and then progressed to 11+ learning and she came on leaps and bounds. She looked forward to going every week! I wish he had been tutoring when my Son was doing his 11+ as we tried all the usual tutors in Ashford (large group sessions, using computers, 1:1) and none were as good. Both my son and daughter have had tutoring with Richard and I can not recommend him highly enough. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable on the different areas of the curriculum and 11+ but he also has a way of making the children believe in themselves, giving them the confidence they need to succeed. Both of my children attended weekly classes for about a year in the run up to the 11+. I think both of them benefitted a lot from the classes. It really helped them understand what to expect from the test and how to prepare for it, and get used to the style of questions. Thoroughly recommended.

Update- I had no hesitation enrolling my boys at RTC following the success they had with my first. Maria was brilliant with them and gave in-depth feedback every week. Thanks also to Ilse for being welcoming and approachable. I would definitely recommend RTC! My son prepared for his 11+ under RTC and passed excellently. I particularly liked the weekly feedback and the methodical approach to covering all the required topics across a range of subjects. Also the mock exams were apt opportunities to discuss strengths and weaknesses and agree steps forward to fill the gap. Special mention to Jo and Justine, and to Steph and Jinky for seamless front of house comms. All well appreciated.

My son started tutoring with RTC in year 4 of primary school, finally finishing his time with them in the Summer holidays following year 5. During that time we have felt fully supported, with there being a focus on my son as a whole person rather than just ‘getting him through’ his 11+. We were offered sound advice which I appreciated, a kind ear from the lovely Ilse and a confidence boost from everyone he encountered. I took my son to the Tonbridge campus and Tony could not have been a more wonderful tutor in every sense. We actually really miss the sessions since he stopped.

Rita is such a lovely tutor, she took the time out of her day to make sure my daughter has the right work to complete and to ensure that she is getting the right tasks in order to do well in her gcses. With Rita my daughter was able to jump 2 whole grades which is a massive improvement. I could not recommend Rita enough, she is very good at what she does!

Fiona Cameron was incredible from the very first introduction. She spent time listening to our daughter to better understand what her capabilities and interests were. Fiona modified her approach and teaching style to suit our daughter which paid dividends. As the weeks progressed the creative writing that was being produced was so incredibly powerful and descriptive. Fiona was great at sharing her enthusiasm for her subject and always encouraging and engaging. I think it was particularly helpful that Fiona made a point of showing how thrilled she was at the results of our daughter’s efforts. I’m pleased to say that as a result of everything our daughter achieved an incredible result. I can’t recommend Fiona more highly, a fabulous teacher and a gentle person to be around.

A weekly lesson has proved massively beneficial for my daughter. She started in September and, as I saw her confidence grow, and her Maths and English improve, we decided to continue for the rest of the school year. To our delight she was top in her year for maths homework, she was no where near this at the beginning. It was a real pinch myself moment! Her English too has improved, this extends into other subjects, making lessons all round better for her. She was not keen to go at first but as soon as she had her first lesson she was all in. Both my son and I were made to feel welcome on day 1. He went for the week long tutoring before the Kent test the week before the test itself.
