Excellent mock test experience with Tutor World. We prepared for the Kent test at home and took two mock tests (both during few months before the real exams). These mock tests have greatly helped to solidify confidence and gave a motivational boost. It also helped my daughter to practice controlling her nerves on the real test day and experience exam-like environment. She was able to achieve excellent score in the Kent test. Highly recommend Tutor World.

I have used Tutorworld for all of my three children when preparing them for the Kent test. Ruvini and the teachers who work alongside side her provide lots of support, techniques and encouragement. The mock tests were invaluable in preparing my children for the test environment and the speed that you needed to answer the questions. All three of my children passed with flying colours. I would recommend Tutorworld and thank all the staff over the years that I have had the pleasure of meeting.

My experience at Tutor World has been exceptional. The teachers are genuinely invested in my children’s education and his growth as learner. They are exceptionally professional teachers, but if I need to pick one of them, she would be Vedanshi. Never seen such a dedicated teacher. Small class sizes and complete teaching systems have enabled my Son to get a place in grammar school. A friendly environment with dedicated teachers. Tutor World. You won't regret it!

Ruvini and her team at Tutor World have been amazing for my son. He has always shown he had the brains to do well, but Tutor World helped him focus and understand the importance of concentration at the right time. He had a great time and learned invaluable insight for the future. I will definitely be bringing my daughters to Tutor World as well!

Rita is such a lovely tutor, she took the time out of her day to make sure my daughter has the right work to complete and to ensure that she is getting the right tasks in order to do well in her gcses. With Rita my daughter was able to jump 2 whole grades which is a massive improvement. I could not recommend Rita enough, she is very good at what she does!

Vicky is such a talented tutor, my daughter had an English teacher at school that was focusing too much on the negative. She and my son had had lessons with Vicky before (in yr6) so I felt confident she’d be the perfect person to give my daughter (yr10) the boost she needed. She had weekly lessons with Vicky up until going through her GCSEs and the change in her attitude towards learning and also her confidence in her own abilities has been seriously dramatic in the last few months. Now she’s actually really looking forward to getting her GCSE results!! I’ve already put my son on Vicky’s list to give him a boost as he starts yr11. I’ll be forever grateful and can’t recommend Vicky enough, education is so important and Vicky teaches in a patient and empowering way!

Fiona Cameron was incredible from the very first introduction. She spent time listening to our daughter to better understand what her capabilities and interests were. Fiona modified her approach and teaching style to suit our daughter which paid dividends. As the weeks progressed the creative writing that was being produced was so incredibly powerful and descriptive. Fiona was great at sharing her enthusiasm for her subject and always encouraging and engaging. I think it was particularly helpful that Fiona made a point of showing how thrilled she was at the results of our daughter’s efforts. I’m pleased to say that as a result of everything our daughter achieved an incredible result. I can’t recommend Fiona more highly, a fabulous teacher and a gentle person to be around.

Wow what an amazing bookshop! Highly recommend, especially those with young children as it even has a slide within the bookshelves. Free storytime and craft workshops every week, amazing friendly and helpful staff and a fantastic range of books at competitive prices. My 4 year old and I love it.

My daughter attended The Learning Academy for preparation for her 11plus, Kent test. The staff are professional, friendly and have a very calm and encouraging approach to teaching. My daughter enjoyed attending and received great result across all areas. Whilst there she grew in confidence, knowledge and self-belief. I highly recommend.

I highly recommend The Learning Academy. My daughter started attending at the beginning of Year 5 in preparation for her 11+ exam. She has so far benefited not only academically but her confidence is shining through. Leesa tutored both my sons for the Kent test, the eldest remotely during a Covid lockdown. They both passed with flying colours. She made sessions fun and motivating, with rewards like sweets or little toys at the end of each session (delivered to our doorstep during lockdown!) and mini competitions between her pupils over a number of sessions for bigger prizes. I would highly recommend Leesa to other parents looking for Kent test tutoring for their child.

Very approachable and flexible tutors with whom our daughters studied mainly maths during Years 10 and 11. They always listened to the girls' maths/science anxieties and gave them confidence. Their approach is to teach methods and offer exam practice so our daughters had lots of different types of help. Always happy to go over mock papers they had done in class. They really did make a difference to their grades.

Our children have had Frank for Maths tuition for a number of years, and more recently the Sciences also. He made lessons fun & gave them confidence. I would highly recommend Jeni from Sunnydene! My daughter was preparing for the Kent test and my friend had recommended Jeni for Mock tests (we already had a tutor by this point). The mock tests ran very smoothly, the feedback was very helpful and valuable. We focused on the feedback provided and the second mock test result showed a massive improvement on my daughter’s scores! We then had some sessions during the summer holiday to get ready for the final day. My daughter passed the Kent test! I would like to thank Jeni for all the feedback and help she provided. Being relatively new to Kent I found the whole selective system and Kent Test process somewhat overwhelming, but Jeni completely demystified it and made it all feel more manageable. Our son not only didn't complain about her tutoring sessions but actively looked forward to them! A really thorough quiz which considers a variety of science terms and processes as part of the multiple choice, encouraging further learning or checking when the answers are revealed at the end of the test. Accessible, friendly and enjoyable. Just enough questions around the specific topics, enough to not become overbearing or confusing. Although I think that for GCSE, it may need to be a bit more challenging. Maybe there could be challenging levels to select and pass as part of the quizzing. Thank you.
