Miss Bukky tutored my son for his 11+ exams some years back. He started with her 8 weeks to the 11+ exams and he scored really high marks and got admission into a grammar school. We again started with Miss Bukky when my son was struggling with his GCSE maths and she was able to support him to get back on track and he did very well in GCSE exams.

My daughter has recently completed a years worth of tutoring with Tutors 11plus and under their guidance, we are thrilled to say that she passed both her Bexley and Kent 11+ papers with excellent scores. We as parents are beyond grateful for all the hard work, dedication and help provided to our child during her time with Tutors 11plus. It is very clear to see that Shahina, our daughters tutor really does have a passion to see each of her students thrive and be the best they can be academically. Each tutoring session was extremely well planned and we felt that they were always taught to a high level. My daughter really enjoyed the supportive, learning environment she was in and definitely gained confidence. As parents, we really appreciated the regular feedback & progress reports which gave us an idea of the areas our daughter was strong in or alternatively, needed extra help with. I felt that this was key in enabling us to keep on top of all areas of her tutoring/learning journey. With regards to homework, yes, there is a lot, but we found this very beneficial. Shahina was on hand day & night if we needed help with explanations or anything we were struggling to understand. Shahina definitely went above and beyond. Kavitha had been a great support during the entire journey for 11+, which from experience can be challenging throughout the year. But during those challenging times Kavitha has supported and guided both of my sons. Serena’s approach to learning is brilliant. My son doesn’t feel pressured about learning; he loves her approach and looks forward to attending the Tuesday lesson after school each week. We never have to ask him to do his homework, and he will get upset if the weekend is so busy and packed and he doesn't get the time to do his homework from Serena’s session. He would wake up early, unprompted by us, saying I must do my homework, not from fear or anything but from a place of joy in learning and a sense of completing his homework. I’m thankful to Serena that her approach eliminates any fear of learning. She makes it fun and challenging, so my son feels like he has achieved something when he understands something he didn't initially or previously understand. As parents, we get an update on our son’s performance and progress each week. What he did well, he needs to focus on and even say if he needs 1:1 support with any particular area of the learning. I wish her approach to education was how schools delivered their learning instead of how they do that. Her focus is on each child as an individual and their stage of learning. So, the teaching is tailored to the individual child's ability rather than the approach at school, which doesn’t challenge each child and where they are in their learning stage. Schools teach to the common denominator, while Serena teaches to the individual child’s level and ability. I would HIGHLY recommend Serena’s tuition approach.

We used GTA for 11+ tuition. Assam was great. My daughter was a BIG fan of his teaching methods - not so much of the homework he set though! HA! She loved the lessons and found them very helpful. What I liked about most about these guys is the honest assessment of your child's abilities. On my first meeting with Shahnaz, she was very open in telling me that if she didn't think my child was capable of doing the 11+, she would tell me straight and that it would be unfair to put pressure on a child if it is clear they are not up to it. I really liked that. There was never any pressure to book lessons either. I was also very grateful for all the tips and advice Shahnaz gave me - as the parent, supporting my child's learning - which I found invaluable, especially moving forward as "it doesn't stop here" Shahnaz quite rightly said. So all-in-all, great service, I would highly recommend them.

I found the Online learning portal an excellent way for my son work on the gaps in his knowledge and for him to work towards the 11+ last year. The video explanations were comprehensive and easy to follow no matter the subject he chose. Riley could work at his own pace and loved the independent learning. The free 1:1 session was an added bonus. I couldn't recommend Nash more highly!

My daughter worked with Nash from the end of Year 4 and throughout Year 5 in preparation for her Bexley Selection test. Nash was always well-prepared for tutoring sessions and was completely transparent in how our child was progressing, sharing weekly updates via PDF. Nash offered support throughout the preparation process and even after too. She was invested in our daughter's success and ensured she knew exactly what she did well and how to improve. Having moved from South Africa in December 2022 our daughter started schooling in Sevenoaks in January 2023. She started midway of way year 4 and did not do year 3 due to age and different schooling models. Matt took on our daughter for 11plus lessons and it was onwards up. Nick was an excellent tutor over the summer; he provided a structured, well thought out programme of topics to help prepare my son for year 9 and keep his brain ticking over during the long holiday . Communication was excellent and Nick emailed brief feedback after each session and materials in preparation for the following week. Nick is an excellent and highly qualified tutor. He played a huge part in the achievement of my daughter's GCSE. From the beginning, he offered a lot of help and was very efficient in his lessons. My daughter has often surprised me with the variety of ways to solve a problem, and this is down to Nick, who has highly influenced her way of thinking . At the end of each lesson, Nick always gives feedback and homework for the next lesson.Nick increases her confidence, and by improving her grades significantly, she will now be doing Maths A level. I cannot recommend Elizabeth Rose Tutoring enough. Ashleigh has been a tremendous help to my son with his 11+ preparation, not only academically but I’ve also noticed an increase in his confidence, engagement and enjoyment of the work. She very quickly built a fantastic rapport with him and you can see she has such a genuine passion and enthusiasm for helping children and does so with kindness and fun. My son’s test results have really improved, she’s helped him grasp and conquer some really tricky areas (in a way his teachers at school have never been able to) and he looks forward to each and every session with her, she’s honestly made such a difference. From a parent’s perspective she is professional, friendly, knowledgeable and extremely approachable and was happy to answer any questions I had, a truly lovely lady.
