Rowena has tutored my daughter for 13 months and she successfully passed her 11+ and taken her ISEB exams. Rowena was very good at identifying areas of improvement and bought along additional materials like practise papers every week. Richard has been a fantastic tutor for my Daughter, who is shy, nervous and was very reluctant to go to a tutor! Richard was amazing at putting her at ease from the off, creating a positive learning environment, tailoring to her needs and making it fun. She originally saw him to give her confidence in her maths and English and then progressed to 11+ learning and she came on leaps and bounds. She looked forward to going every week! I wish he had been tutoring when my Son was doing his 11+ as we tried all the usual tutors in Ashford (large group sessions, using computers, 1:1) and none were as good. My son finds school a little tricky but having a quieter, encouraging environment at RP Tutoring he really is improving. Richard provides regular and helpful feedback on my sons progress and focuses on areas he finds more difficult rather than all of the curriculum. This really is beneficial as it does not waste time on areas he is strong at.

Richard was great to speak too, gave brilliant feedback, and just helped my daughter take that extra step. He gave her confidence, and his message to her just resonated with her brilliantly. Whilst we didn't have regular tutoring, we gained valuable insight from the 11+ mocks and then a couple of 2 hrs intensive sessions the week before the Kent test.

My son made very steady and very fast progress with his maths ,all due to the amazing mathematics program Kumon has got in place. Kumon built confidence in him which he did not have at the time of joining.He started getting good remarks from the school which was very thrilling to hear. I recommend Kumon to any kid at any grade as it’s never late to start with Kumon, The team there are excellent at how to take your kid to the higher gear within a very short space of time.

I would highly recommend Jeni from Sunnydene! My daughter was preparing for the Kent test and my friend had recommended Jeni for Mock tests (we already had a tutor by this point). The mock tests ran very smoothly, the feedback was very helpful and valuable. We focused on the feedback provided and the second mock test result showed a massive improvement on my daughter’s scores! We then had some sessions during the summer holiday to get ready for the final day. My daughter passed the Kent test! I would like to thank Jeni for all the feedback and help she provided. My son really enjoyed the sessions with Jeni and they gave him lots of confidence. By the time it came to doing the Kent test, he was looking forward to it. Jeni gave lots of helpful information to the children and adults on the process and what to expect. The opportunity for my son to do a mock kent test was really helpful too and put him at ease.

Being relatively new to Kent I found the whole selective system and Kent Test process somewhat overwhelming, but Jeni completely demystified it and made it all feel more manageable. Our son not only didn't complain about her tutoring sessions but actively looked forward to them! We were quite late to discover Jeni but I'm so grateful we did - she's been an absolute game-changer and I can't recommend her enough.

Vicky has been a fantastic tutor for my daughter for 8 years right up to her GCSE exams. She tailored her lessons to my daughter's needs boosting her confidence. Vicky also greatly helped my son by providing a couple of adhoc lessons to assist him with understanding some very difficult equations on his electrical course. As a result both passed their exams. Fiona Cameron was incredible from the very first introduction. She spent time listening to our daughter to better understand what her capabilities and interests were. Fiona modified her approach and teaching style to suit our daughter which paid dividends. As the weeks progressed the creative writing that was being produced was so incredibly powerful and descriptive. Fiona was great at sharing her enthusiasm for her subject and always encouraging and engaging. I think it was particularly helpful that Fiona made a point of showing how thrilled she was at the results of our daughter’s efforts. I’m pleased to say that as a result of everything our daughter achieved an incredible result. I can’t recommend Fiona more highly, a fabulous teacher and a gentle person to be around.

Rita is such a lovely tutor, she took the time out of her day to make sure my daughter has the right work to complete and to ensure that she is getting the right tasks in order to do well in her gcses. With Rita my daughter was able to jump 2 whole grades which is a massive improvement. I could not recommend Rita enough, she is very good at what she does!

Mr C was an excellent tutor. He was very welcoming and my daughter enjoyed all her lessons with him. He made lessons fun for her - we still play some of the games he taught her - and he was very good at explaining topics that she found difficult. She retained all the information he gave her. He was happy to tailor classes according to her needs. He was also very generous in terms of his time and with work materials as well. I highly recommend him.

Both my son and I were made to feel welcome on day 1. He went for the week long tutoring before the Kent test the week before the test itself. A weekly lesson has proved massively beneficial for my daughter. She started in September and, as I saw her confidence grow, and her Maths and English improve, we decided to continue for the rest of the school year. To our delight she was top in her year for maths homework, she was no where near this at the beginning. It was a real pinch myself moment! Being attending for awhile for both learning math and japanese and defently must recommend as both Nicola and Alix teaching has been outstanding im learning a whole new language that i thought would be impossible to learn but over time its becoming easier to learn, with maths ive finally got a variety of skills that now im able to understand how different methords can help understanding algibra which is not my best subject.
