Serena’s approach to learning is brilliant. My son doesn’t feel pressured about learning; he loves her approach and looks forward to attending the Tuesday lesson after school each week. We never have to ask him to do his homework, and he will get upset if the weekend is so busy and packed and he doesn't get the time to do his homework from Serena’s session. He would wake up early, unprompted by us, saying I must do my homework, not from fear or anything but from a place of joy in learning and a sense of completing his homework. I’m thankful to Serena that her approach eliminates any fear of learning. She makes it fun and challenging, so my son feels like he has achieved something when he understands something he didn't initially or previously understand. As parents, we get an update on our son’s performance and progress each week. What he did well, he needs to focus on and even say if he needs 1:1 support with any particular area of the learning. I wish her approach to education was how schools delivered their learning instead of how they do that. Her focus is on each child as an individual and their stage of learning. So, the teaching is tailored to the individual child's ability rather than the approach at school, which doesn’t challenge each child and where they are in their learning stage. Schools teach to the common denominator, while Serena teaches to the individual child’s level and ability. I would HIGHLY recommend Serena’s tuition approach.

Serena's attention to detail and lesson planning is second to none. Her enthusiasm is contagious and she has helped my daughter become more confident in all aspects of her learning. She makes her children feel like individuals and caters to their needs. I would not hesitate in recommending her!

Reading with Harvey 3 times a week has been so important for my son’s education and development. When we started with Read With Us my son found reading a real challenge. He was reading way below the normal reading level for his age. Today my son’s teacher told me that he was now reading above his age group, and was doing so well he won the weekly reading Champion Competition . His reading and comprehension skills have come a long way since we started with Read With Us . I would highly recommend them.

I have been using Read With Us since its inception in 2020 for my youngest daughter. I have noticed the significant and consistent improvement in her reading and confidence. This platform has offer my child with so much experiences and skills such as confidence to read to others without fear, confidence to read, pronounce words correctly as expected also have a better understanding of some words and their meaning as well as the stories he reads. We joined this wonderful group three years ago. My kids love the sessions. It’s quick 15 minutes but the benefits they get makes you wish it was hours long. The instructors are lovely and the coordinator is easy to reach and is open to discussing concerns/issues. Suggestions are made and plan of action is put in place right away. I don’t feel guilty if I am not reading with my child because I know they already had a reading session that day. I am lucky to have discovered Read with us. Life changer.

We enrolled our son in Kumon for maths since the last 4 months and we have seen a remarkable difference in his attitude towards studying. He is much quick in doing his calculations and loves challenges, which each level bring with it. He has always been a bright child but lacked the ability to sit and focus, as would get easily distracted. We have noticed Kumon has taught him routine and discipline in such short time and hope it continues this way. Tony Capozzi the instructor at the East Malling Centre, is very good in his ways in inspiring young kids at concentrating and doing their best especially boys. He also encourages and guides parents in motivating and working along with their child in achieving their goals together!

I can’t recommend Tony enough! My 9 year old daughter had gaps in her learning from a school move and Kumon has plugged those gaps and built the quick recall she needed to improve. This has boosted my daughter’s confidence hugely and she has moved up to top set at school and is thrilled. Tony the Instructor at the Kings Hill & Malling Kumon Centre has really helped my 5-year-old son since he started Kumon. He lacked concentration and was unable to work independently. Tony instantly picked up on his areas for improvement and worked with my son and taught me tips to overcome these obstacles. Since then, my son is adding confidently, quickly and accurately and has made great strides with his study routine. We used GTA for 11+ tuition. Assam was great. My daughter was a BIG fan of his teaching methods - not so much of the homework he set though! HA! She loved the lessons and found them very helpful. What I liked about most about these guys is the honest assessment of your child's abilities. On my first meeting with Shahnaz, she was very open in telling me that if she didn't think my child was capable of doing the 11+, she would tell me straight and that it would be unfair to put pressure on a child if it is clear they are not up to it. I really liked that. There was never any pressure to book lessons either. I was also very grateful for all the tips and advice Shahnaz gave me - as the parent, supporting my child's learning - which I found invaluable, especially moving forward as "it doesn't stop here" Shahnaz quite rightly said. So all-in-all, great service, I would highly recommend them.

My son attended Tuition Academy Maidstone for a year prior to taking his Kent test and Medway tests.
