I am doing my A level tuition with Claire and the team and I am very impressed and satisfied how they doing their job. Especially Claire a very kind and a welcoming person and she helped me with my A level when I struggled at the beginning. As an A level student I am highly recommending S4S tuition for A level students.

We began with Set4Success in September, a full year before the 11+ exams, scheduling twice-weekly sessions with one of their outstanding teachers, Xavier. Thanks to his guidance, our son also achieved an A* in 5th grade for Maths and English, setting a strong foundation for passing the 11+ exam in year 6. The team at Set4Success is incredibly supportive, genuinely invested in each child's success, and offers ample mock exam opportunities to monitor progress and build confidence. I cannot recommend Mary highly enough. We originally asked her to help our son with English Language because we were concerned that his grades were continually falling over time. However, her tuition also helped improve his English Literature work in the process, and they ended up being his two highest GCSE grades. Mary was friendly and professional throughout and we could see a noticeable improvement in our son’s ability and confidence in the subject from the start.

Mary is an excellent tutor and I thoroughly recommend her.  My daughter has made wonderful progress since she started having lessons with her. Her own daughter was home educated and is currently studying at Cambridge University which highlights the standard of her teaching. Mary also has experience working with students who are dyslexic with great results.  I would not hesitate in choosing her to tutor my child.

Having lessons with Mary has been really helpful. She is knowledgeable about the syllabus and what will be expected and has given concrete advice about how the children can improve their writing. My children are really enjoying their classes with Mary. They find her explanations clear & easy to follow. They love the notes she takes during the class. This helps them concentrate during the lesson and go back over things afterwards when they need to apply what they have learnt. Mary has a great balance of being warm and friendly yet firm enough that the children listen and know they are to take their studies seriously if they want to progress and achieve. Mary really knows her subject so well and we feel very blessed for our children to be learning from such a great teacher.

A really thorough quiz which considers a variety of science terms and processes as part of the multiple choice, encouraging further learning or checking when the answers are revealed at the end of the test. Accessible, friendly and enjoyable. Just enough questions around the specific topics, enough to not become overbearing or confusing. Although I think that for GCSE, it may need to be a bit more challenging. Maybe there could be challenging levels to select and pass as part of the quizzing. Thank you.

Both my children attended in centre and online Compass sessions. My son completed the 11+ package and while there was frustrations with the package content and occasional online issues, the staff were always eager to help. My son had some great tutors, Taryn, Ben, Maddison are just a few that always made him feel relaxed and calm. In addition I cannot even begin to explain how much they accommodate families last minute changes or even the occasion where you have forgotten a session completely. My experience of the managers (Sian, Katie & Taryn) has been 100% positive; they are patient, polite and helpful. Both my children passed their Kent Test with good marks. Thank you 😊

My son has been attending explore for the past few months and we have definitely noticed an improvement with his progress. School can be quite overwhelming for our son but we have found the team in Ashford very supportive and inclusive with our child. Whilst we didn't have regular tutoring, we gained valuable insight from the 11+ mocks and then a couple of 2 hrs intensive sessions the week before the Kent test.

Richard has been a fantastic tutor for my Daughter, who is shy, nervous and was very reluctant to go to a tutor! Richard was amazing at putting her at ease from the off, creating a positive learning environment, tailoring to her needs and making it fun. She originally saw him to give her confidence in her maths and English and then progressed to 11+ learning and she came on leaps and bounds. She looked forward to going every week! Leesa tutored both my sons for the Kent test, the eldest remotely during a Covid lockdown. They both passed with flying colours. Tutor World really help my child, I tried others for lessons for the 11+ for my son.
