Both my children attended in centre and online Compass sessions. My son completed the 11+ package and while there was frustrations with the package content and occasional online issues, the staff were always eager to help. My son had some great tutors, Taryn, Ben, Maddison are just a few that always made him feel relaxed and calm. In addition I cannot even begin to explain how much they accommodate families last minute changes or even the occasion where you have forgotten a session completely. My experience of the managers (Sian, Katie & Taryn) has been 100% positive; they are patient, polite and helpful. Both my children passed their Kent Test with good marks. Thank you 😊

My daughter has been attending this tution for almost around two years and she always comes back with a smile on her face and telling me all about what she did 🤣 She absolutely loves it and doesn’t plan on leaving anytime sooner! She also mentions how her tutors are so kind and nice(Beth, Klara) and aswell as the managers! My daughter enjoys her 11+ and usual two hours on a Wednesday!

My 3 children have all spent time at Explore learning in Ashford Kent, and they have enjoyed it. Learning has been fun and interactive, and they were well prepared for the 11 plus test and all passed! Thank you to all the dedicated tutors at EL!

My son has been attending explore for the past few months and we have definitely noticed an improvement with his progress. School can be quite overwhelming for our son but we have found the team in Ashford very supportive and inclusive with our child. They adapt his sessions to best support his learning needs so he can get the best out of each sessions. We Would definitely recommend explore to other families.

My son finds school a little tricky but having a quieter, encouraging environment at RP Tutoring he really is improving. Richard provides regular and helpful feedback on my sons progress and focuses on areas he finds more difficult rather than all of the curriculum. This really is beneficial as it does not waste time on areas he is strong at.

Richard has been a fantastic tutor for my Daughter, who is shy, nervous and was very reluctant to go to a tutor! Richard was amazing at putting her at ease from the off, creating a positive learning environment, tailoring to her needs and making it fun. She originally saw him to give her confidence in her maths and English and then progressed to 11+ learning and she came on leaps and bounds. She looked forward to going every week! I wish he had been tutoring when my Son was doing his 11+ as we tried all the usual tutors in Ashford (large group sessions, using computers, 1:1) and none were as good. I’ll be brining my youngest to Richard in a couple of years. Thanks for everything!

Richard was great to speak too, gave brilliant feedback, and just helped my daughter take that extra step. He gave her confidence, and his message to her just resonated with her brilliantly. Whilst we didn't have regular tutoring, we gained valuable insight from the 11+ mocks and then a couple of 2 hrs intensive sessions the week before the Kent test.

Tutor World really help my child, I tried others for lessons for the 11+ for my son. I was told he won’t pass as he lacks focus, but when I went to tutor world for an assessment, Ruvini was very helpful and told me with little effort my son could do well at the exam, am so happy I listen to her advice, as I almost gave up. My Daughter went to set4success for 11+ tuition and passed this year. It's a lovely, relaxed learning environment that she really enjoys going to, inspired to learn through the lovely teacher and grammar school students. We are going to continue having lessons until year 7 as it has really supplemented primary school and is a great confidence boost! What's more my Daughter has asked herself to continue as she enjoys it so much! It's been wonderful watching her grow in confidence and has done her an absolute power of good!! We began with Set4Success in September, a full year before the 11+ exams, scheduling twice-weekly sessions with one of their outstanding teachers, Xavier. Thanks to his guidance, our son also achieved an A* in 5th grade for Maths and English, setting a strong foundation for passing the 11+ exam in year 6. Having lessons with Mary has been really helpful. She is knowledgeable about the syllabus and what will be expected and has given concrete advice about how the children can improve their writing. I cannot recommend Mary highly enough. We originally asked her to help our son with English Language because we were concerned that his grades were continually falling over time. However, her tuition also helped improve his English Literature work in the process, and they ended up being his two highest GCSE grades. Mary was friendly and professional throughout and we could see a noticeable improvement in our son’s ability and confidence in the subject from the start.

Mary is an excellent tutor and I thoroughly recommend her.  My daughter has made wonderful progress since she started having lessons with her. Her own daughter was home educated and is currently studying at Cambridge University which highlights the standard of her teaching. Mary also has experience working with students who are dyslexic with great results.  I would not hesitate in choosing her to tutor my child.

I highly recommend The Learning Academy. My daughter started attending at the beginning of Year 5 in preparation for her 11+ exam. She has so far benefited not only academically but her confidence is shining through. Having recently received a head teachers award at school for her maths work and since attending The Learning Academy is a subject she has gained much more confidence in. My son is in Year 2 and has been attending Kip McGrath Ashford Kent for six months. He really enjoys going to Kip and loves the fact his learning plan is bespoke to him and that he earns Kip points for good work. I felt my son needed more of a challenge than what he was getting at school, and the learning plan Simon has put in place for him is now doing that. I think Simon is a great teacher and he has a great rapport with my son. I would definitely recommend Kip McGrath Ashford Kent.

My son made very steady and very fast progress with his maths ,all due to the amazing mathematics program Kumon has got in place. Kumon built confidence in him which he did not have at the time of joining.He started getting good remarks from the school which was very thrilling to hear. I recommend Kumon to any kid at any grade as it’s never late to start with Kumon, The team there are excellent at how to take your kid to the higher gear within a very short space of time.

Review of Kumon Ashford south I decided to register my children into Kumon to prepare them for school. To introduce them to learning within a group, and Kumon did not disappoint, but the real reward of Kumon came during the pandemic when we had to home school, my children found learning from home very easy as they are used to doing their kumon work daily at home. As the effects of the pandemic lingers on, I am confident that my children are still learning to their full potential as they continue to do their Kumon learning in addition to their school work.
