A weekly lesson has proved massively beneficial for my daughter. She started in September and, as I saw her confidence grow, and her Maths and English improve, we decided to continue for the rest of the school year. To our delight she was top in her year for maths homework, she was no where near this at the beginning. It was a real pinch myself moment! Her English too has improved, this extends into other subjects, making lessons all round better for her. She was not keen to go at first but as soon as she had her first lesson she was all in. Being attending for awhile for both learning math and japanese and defently must recommend as both Nicola and Alix teaching has been outstanding im learning a whole new language that i thought would be impossible to learn but over time its becoming easier to learn, with maths ive finally got a variety of skills that now im able to understand how different methords can help understanding algibra which is not my best subject. Rita is such a lovely tutor, she took the time out of her day to make sure my daughter has the right work to complete and to ensure that she is getting the right tasks in order to do well in her gcses. With Rita my daughter was able to jump 2 whole grades which is a massive improvement. I could not recommend Rita enough, she is very good at what she does!

Vicky has been a fantastic tutor for my daughter for 8 years right up to her GCSE exams. She tailored her lessons to my daughter's needs boosting her confidence. Vicky also greatly helped my son by providing a couple of adhoc lessons to assist him with understanding some very difficult equations on his electrical course. As a result both passed their exams. Fiona Cameron was incredible from the very first introduction. She spent time listening to our daughter to better understand what her capabilities and interests were. Fiona modified her approach and teaching style to suit our daughter which paid dividends. As the weeks progressed the creative writing that was being produced was so incredibly powerful and descriptive. Fiona was great at sharing her enthusiasm for her subject and always encouraging and engaging. I think it was particularly helpful that Fiona made a point of showing how thrilled she was at the results of our daughter’s efforts. I’m pleased to say that as a result of everything our daughter achieved an incredible result. I can’t recommend Fiona more highly, a fabulous teacher and a gentle person to be around.

One of the best decisions I’ve made recently is to sign up to the prep for the Kent Test that Mike offers. To date, my son has attended a half day Kent Test Mock Experience and we’ve both taken part in the Creative Writing Family Training session together. The insight and guidance Mike provides to both children and parents alike is invaluable, so not only is my son feeling less anxious about what to expect on the day of the test - when he comes to it -(armed with practical tips on how to tackle it), but we are all tooled up on how to hone our creative writing skills too. An added bonus; Mike just happens to be one of the nicest, most genuine people that I’ve had the pleasure to meet. He clearly loves what he does and takes great care in building the confidence of the young people he supports. I thoroughly recommend his services.

My son finds school a little tricky but having a quieter, encouraging environment at RP Tutoring he really is improving. Richard provides regular and helpful feedback on my sons progress and focuses on areas he finds more difficult rather than all of the curriculum. This really is beneficial as it does not waste time on areas he is strong at.

Both my son and daughter have had tutoring with Richard and I can not recommend him highly enough. Richard has been a fantastic tutor for my Daughter, who is shy, nervous and was very reluctant to go to a tutor! Richard was amazing at putting her at ease from the off, creating a positive learning environment, tailoring to her needs and making it fun. Leesa tutored my daughter through statistics and maths GCSE. Despite having to get up early on a Saturday morning, my daughter very much enjoyed working with Leesa, who helped to improve her confidence and ability, supporting her to pass both subjects. Now keen to signing up child number 2!

Very approachable and flexible tutors with whom our daughters studied mainly maths during Years 10 and 11. They always listened to the girls' maths/science anxieties and gave them confidence. Their approach is to teach methods and offer exam practice so our daughters had lots of different types of help. Always happy to go over mock papers they had done in class. They really did make a difference to their grades.

Leesa tutored both my sons for the Kent test, the eldest remotely during a Covid lockdown. They both passed with flying colours. She made sessions fun and motivating, with rewards like sweets or little toys at the end of each session (delivered to our doorstep during lockdown!) and mini competitions between her pupils over a number of sessions for bigger prizes. Mr and Mrs Awan have been such amazing teachers to my children! We have been attending the centre since June 2021. Mr and Mrs Awan provide a calm, productive work environment and are very patient, there is a genuine sincerity in their care. The work is mainly computer based in small groups and lessons are designed for a student’s individual ability and aimed to build confidence as they progress. Mr and Mrs Awan have brilliant learning techniques and help students to understand how to answer questions correctly. The centre can cater for helping students study towards the Kent test but are also very helpful to students with learning difficulties who may need extra support. Mr and Mrs Awan share years of teaching experience in schools but now provide this tutoring programme which is reassuring for students and parents. I thoroughly recommend this centre.

Both of my children have had an absolutely fantastic experience with Mr and Mrs Awan. They were caring, kind and encouraging and our children loved going. Our initial reason for going was to help them with their general school work. So pleased with the tutoring my children receive at Kip McGrath Canterbury. Since joining in July my son and daughter have progressed a huge amount. We cannot speak more highly of her exceptional teaching ability and particular skills in enhancing exam technique. Emma was always consistent in her ability to teach English to a very high standard whilst motivating our child to thrive in the subject. This resulted in our child achieving five marks below the maximum grade 9 in their GCSE exam. We think this speaks volumes of the standard and expertise that Emma provided and we would definitely recommend her as a tutor.

Without Emma, I could never have achieved a grade 9 in both English literature and language. Before starting my tutoring, my grades were at 6’s and 7’s and I didn’t know what I could do better to improve them. But once Emma started tutoring me, I began to discover my strengths and weaknesses. She increased my confidence and is incredibly supportive and kind. She is an exceptional tutor and I am 100% positive that anyone who chooses her to tutor them, will definitely improve their grades and confidence in English.

I’ve had many English tutors throughout my GCSE studies but Emma has by far been the best one, she has helped me increase my grades in English by an incredible 5 grades in the short time she taught me (from my year 10 mock to my actual GCSE’s!). Emma gave me great advice on how to approach exam style questions including how to efficiently answer questions.
