Could not have asked for more for my daughter. The team in Tonbridge are absolutely amazing, great feedback and communication between tutor and parent, very welcoming and enjoyable for the children. My daughter loved the fact that on the first day she was given her own tuition satchel and stationary. Ilse was so lovely and understanding of every families own personal circumstances and very supportive. My child had 6 tuition sessions on a Saturday and a couple of full days during the summer holidays which were so valuable and I genuinely appreciate the wonderful contribution and teaching the group have provided her for the best start for secondary school. Both of my children attended weekly classes for about a year in the run up to the 11+. I think both of them benefitted a lot from the classes. It really helped them understand what to expect from the test and how to prepare for it, and get used to the style of questions. Thoroughly recommended.

Update- I had no hesitation enrolling my boys at RTC following the success they had with my first. Maria was brilliant with them and gave in-depth feedback every week. Thanks also to Ilse for being welcoming and approachable. I would definitely recommend RTC! My son prepared for his 11+ under RTC and passed excellently. I particularly liked the weekly feedback and the methodical approach to covering all the required topics across a range of subjects. Also the mock exams were apt opportunities to discuss strengths and weaknesses and agree steps forward to fill the gap. Special mention to Jo and Justine, and to Steph and Jinky for seamless front of house comms. All well appreciated.

My daughter started with the RTC (TW) in Y4, and she's finished her journey with success now. My daughter loved the weekly classes with her excellent and extremely professional tutor, Justine.. Justine was fully supportive, with her invaluable advice and guidance. I really can't recommend her enough. All the process went really smoothly, the weekly classes;the email follow-ups with content about what has been taught each week; the mock assessments; the consultations after the mock with the Tutor and the revisions. I used Ben for my son Harvey who needed help with his maths GCSE. Ben also helped Harvey with chemistry too. Ben was very professional and knows his subjects. Teacher Paul is a Master of Teaching. My 13-year-old daughter is a big fan of Paul. One class in year 9 math made her realize how easy it is to grasp the essence of mathematical reasoning. One class on Victorian history inspired her to spontaneously commenced a interesting project of her own. She googled the Chinese chronology, did some research, and drew a series of clothing styles corresponding to each era. One month of preparation for the entrance exam gave her the opportunity to enter her dream school! It was teacher Paul who gave my daughter the confidence to make things happen.

Paul is professional and is focussed on planning the lessons by identifying my son’s needs. He has made a big difference to my son’s confidence and his enthusiasm towards learning, and he always comes out of the class smiling! Paul is very warm and kind and not only has the ability to deliver the ‘knowledge magic’ but does it in such a way that makes learning exciting.

Paul is a wonder tutor! My daughter always looks forward to her weekly sessions with Paul. Great communication with student and parent, excellent feedback and homework, enjoyable learning which is interactive and engaging.

A really thorough quiz which considers a variety of science terms and processes as part of the multiple choice, encouraging further learning or checking when the answers are revealed at the end of the test. Accessible, friendly and enjoyable. Just enough questions around the specific topics, enough to not become overbearing or confusing. Although I think that for GCSE, it may need to be a bit more challenging. Maybe there could be challenging levels to select and pass as part of the quizzing. Thank you.

Vicky has been a fantastic tutor for my daughter for 8 years right up to her GCSE exams. She tailored her lessons to my daughter's needs boosting her confidence. Vicky also greatly helped my son by providing a couple of adhoc lessons to assist him with understanding some very difficult equations on his electrical course. As a result both passed their exams. I highly recommend and wish Vicky all the best.

Rita is such a lovely tutor, she took the time out of her day to make sure my daughter has the right work to complete and to ensure that she is getting the right tasks in order to do well in her gcses. With Rita my daughter was able to jump 2 whole grades which is a massive improvement. I could not recommend Rita enough, she is very good at what she does!

Vicky is such a talented tutor, my daughter had an English teacher at school that was focusing too much on the negative. She and my son had had lessons with Vicky before (in yr6) so I felt confident she’d be the perfect person to give my daughter (yr10) the boost she needed. She had weekly lessons with Vicky up until going through her GCSEs and the change in her attitude towards learning and also her confidence in her own abilities has been seriously dramatic in the last few months. Now she’s actually really looking forward to getting her GCSE results!! I’ve already put my son on Vicky’s list to give him a boost as he starts yr11. Fiona Cameron was incredible from the very first introduction. She spent time listening to our daughter to better understand what her capabilities and interests were. Fiona modified her approach and teaching style to suit our daughter which paid dividends. As the weeks progressed the creative writing that was being produced was so incredibly powerful and descriptive. Fiona was great at sharing her enthusiasm for her subject and always encouraging and engaging. I think it was particularly helpful that Fiona made a point of showing how thrilled she was at the results of our daughter’s efforts. I’m pleased to say that as a result of everything our daughter achieved an incredible result. I can’t recommend Fiona more highly, a fabulous teacher and a gentle person to be around.

Rosie is an excellent teacher. She was very patient, gave the kids time to learn & understand things. Rosie did not only teach but she also encouraged the kids to do their best with her motivational speeches. My son learnt a lot, became confident in doing his homework, happy to attend his lessons, and finally got into his grammar school of choice.
