Torben and his team have replaced 13 windows in our old house over the last 4 or so years. They are beautifully custom made and improved the thermal efficiency of our house massively. He is very knowledgeable and the windows are finished to the highest quality and we can warmly recommend Newlands Joinery especially for a period house. Tony H

I have used County Carpentry & Building for various project builds over the years from an Oak framed porch to a recent extension to the rear of our property. In both cases both jobs were a challenge due to the age of the house and poor decay to some areas of existing Oak timberwork that had to be exposed and supported with care. From day one the team took the planning and undertaking of these preliminary tasks very seriously and took all measures to insure all care and attention was placed while the first phases of the projects were commenced and carried out their work in a professional and skilled manor. From start to finish communication was excellent with weekly site meetings and updates we felt relaxed and unstressed during this time. Andrew fitted my solid oak flooring and it looks amazing everyone comments on it. He also fixed a lot of the problems I had been left with by previous builders I will certainly use him again and am happy to recommend him to anyone.

Rayfield Carpentry have done our cabinetry in our living room, hall and children’s rooms. They also completely renovated and decorated our garage, converting it into a work room. Exactly what you want from a builder. We decided to build a kitchen extension on our house as the existing kitchen was small, turquoise and not consummate with the rest of the house. We live in a conservation area and wanted something contemporary yet in keeping with the house. We had several firms around to quote and looked at architects who project manage and main contractor style builders. Brothers Phil and Darren run the firm. Phil was the one to come around and ended up managing the build. We discussed options and sketched up high-level plans together. Phil then quoted on these high-level plans, so we had a good ballpark figure to work from. Everything was broken down and very clear on the quote, and they worked to a fixed price, which took away a lot of worry. We decided to go with C&C. Phil guided us through the process and had great recommendations for an architect and drain surveyor. Communication was excellent; it felt like a genuine partnership. C&C have a great set of trades they work with regularly who take pride in their work. We have been so pleased with the process and the quality of the extension. Even though it was a fixed price, there was no scrimping on the quality of products to enhance profits. For the kitchen, Phil introduced us to an excellent fitter, and we were super pleased with the result. Everybody says having building work done is stressful, but C&C made it a relatively painless experience for us. I can’t recommend them enough—good people, trustworthy and experienced.

Phil has done a few projects for me at home but this was my first experience of working with him on a client project. He built an incredible bespoke pool house in a very tricky steep garden in Sevenoaks. The finish is just great, exactly as I hoped it would be. It was a challenging build as it is integral to the retaining walls in the garden. The finished structure has a generous lounge area, shower room and separate toilet which makes it super practical when my clients are enjoying their swimming pool. We have skylights, and charred timber cladding so although it is quite a substantial space, it does not dominate the garden and has made great use of an overgrown previously unusable area of the garden. This project was turned around Incredibly quickly despite very challenging winter weather conditions. This means my clients have had full access to the pool area for the whole of this summer. Leechcroft carpentry were recommended to me by a friend. Ross came to quote for a set of wardrobes and new bannisters. I found Ross to be polite, professional and gave us some sound advice. We went ahead and found his work really good quality. He was always ontime, clean and tidy and I would have no hesitation in recommending Leechcroft Carpentry to anyone.

Ross provided me with a very competitive quote for my whole house renovation and a clear time line. He provided honest feedback and advice throughout the job and was always available when I needed to discuss anything. He fitted a new kitchen and bathroom with new carpets throughout which has all been fitted to a high standard. He has also fitted a new central heating system.
