I had a hideous 50's built in wardrobe that needed replacing, Derek made suggestions and sketches of what I wanted, measured up, built and delivered it, all flawlessly painted to my specs two weeks later, he had it all fitted and finished in a day, you would never know any work had been done, everything was spotless. Absolutely delighted. (I should add I'm his brother so you won't trust me but check out the other reviews...!!)

Couldn't recommend Derek enough. He is a true craftsman and a pleasure to do business with. Absolutely brilliant at communicating everything clearly, and was very quick at designing and fitting the cupboards just how we wanted them. He was also very honest and transparent about payment. I will definitely be getting him to design more for our house in the future, the shelves and cupboards are great.

I highly recommend Derek's work!! Previously Derek built two bespoke alcove cabinets for my office and more recently he's built our master wardrobe. I could not be happier with the finished products. He is very respectful when visiting the house and is always pre-prepared, meaning this work is completed in an amazing time. Acorn replaced three large and unusually shaped windows in a conservation area. They submitted the details of the planning application and dealt with enquiries from officials of the district council. They drew up detailed plans and kept us informed at every stage. When the time came for the work itself a highly trained and skilled carpenter came and worked for four days, overcoming some difficult adjustments on our listed building. The result was great satisfaction with the quality of work and their attention to detail in every aspect of the project. The wonderful carpenter who came was a delight to have around and explained every stage of his work. I cannot speak too highly of the service and the result.

Our new apartment came with a difficult design challenge; the radiator was positioned right underneath where the TV needed to be. We knew our only option was to get something bespoke made, which not only looked great, matching the styling of our living room, but also hid the radiator, whilst allowing it to still function and fully vent its heat, as well as a slatted wall feature with shelves. Jake was without question the right man for the job, demonstrating his expertise and professionalism from the outset. He was always friendly, punctual, easily contactable, and really professional throughout the entire process. Jake carefully guided us through the design phase, ensuring that we were involved in every decision. He created detailed 3D drawings that allowed us to visualize the project and make any necessary adjustments before the actual build commenced. This collaborative approach was highly appreciated and ensured that the final product would meet our exact specifications. He presented us with many different options for types of wood and treatments, helping us to select the best materials that would complement our living room's décor. The final build looked exactly like the 3D drawings, which was incredibly satisfying. The quality of the build and the finish exceeded our expectations; it looks amazing and seamlessly integrates with the rest of our living space. We couldn't be happier with Jake's work. The bespoke TV cabinet not only solved our radiator issue but also added a beautiful, functional piece of furniture to our home. It was hard to get into Jake’s diary with our project. However, Jake is one of the best tradespersons that has ever come through our doors. He was very patient with our search for the exact product we wanted, requesting multiple samples and bringing them for review. The execution was smooth, tidy, clean and very neat. Top quality finishing. And just a great character to work with plus incredibly diligent - staying till 7pm on a Friday to complete a section of work. Highly recommended for sure!

Kieren fitted my kitchen a few years ago and did a fantastic job, going above and beyond what I expected, he was very friendly and helpful and a very hard worker and tidy too! I contacted Kieren again at the end of last year to replace my bathroom which he did to a very high standard. I know the next time I need any work done he will definitely be the man I hire. Soliman and his team took on a very challenging situation. My flat was abandoned by a previous contractor who had ran off with our money. The previous contractor had done some work but very poorly. Soliman gave us a very fair price, was able to start immediately. He finished on time, even took on extra work along the way. He's cost consciouse when sourcing the materials so we dont go over budget. Very professional to work with. Most importantly, the quality of his work is immaculate! Its hard to find a trustworthy and high quality contractor. I'm glad we went with Soliman to take on this job. I definitely recommend him and his team!

Soliman and his team did a great job at my property. They built a wall, installed a sky light, took care of the electrics and worked very quickly doing so. Soliman was very knowledgeable and timely and a pleasure to work with. They tided behind them and did an overall great job. We will definitely use them again for any future projects.

Mike is a lovely guy, made us a fabulous bespoke kitchen, and we have had him back 2 years later to make some bathroom shelving units too. All work done with a minimum of fuss and mess and so precise!

We have used Mick a few times now for a built in desk, storage facility, shelving and window sill installation and other works. He listens and finds solutions, is clearly well experienced, and his work is of the highest quality at a fair price. He is also punctual, respectful of your house and does what he promises to do. Jon did an amazing job on my new kitchen which involved dismantling my old kitchen and appliances, stripping the tiles, plasterboarding the walls and ceiling, assembling the flat packed kitchen cabinets, worktops, tiling both worktop surfaces and floor and replacing and fitting a new kitchen door. Jon worked to an exceptional standard and his impeccable timekeeping, professionalism, keen eye to detail and his quality of work was second to one.
