“Acorn replaced three large and unusually shaped windows in a conservation area. They submitted the details of the planning application and dealt with enquiries from officials of the district council. They drew up detailed plans and kept us informed at every stage. When the time came for the work itself a highly trained and skilled carpenter came and worked for four days, overcoming some difficult adjustments on our listed building. The result was great satisfaction with the quality of work and their attention to detail in every aspect of the project. I'm very impressed with the outcome - in fact his work looks nicer than the pre-existing kitchen. We only needed an extra cabinet added to an existing kitchen, one open cabinet needed a door added plus skirting board for the whole kitchen units. The design matches the kitchen perfectly and he took great pride in his work, which is clearly reflected in the outcome. He even fitted in a small extra job in on the day (much to my husbands delight, as he would have had to it as DIY otherwise).”
