We had our garden gate taken out and replaced by Charlie at Fine Carpenters and I cannot recommend them enough! It was a very tidy job and left everything completely clean exactly what we wanted,very pleased.

Fine Carpenters did a great job stripping out our old workshop and creating an amazing home gym, they laid new flooring, a new ceiling and all woodwork. They were a friendly team, clean and tidy professionals, highly recommend.

Toby designed and fitted some beautiful cupboards for us. We Have been using them for 6 months now, can tell the quality is good- absolutely no problems. Brilliant communication and also allowed us to change the design (from shaker style to a more traditional finish) at last minute which didn’t affect the final quote.

Toby and his colleague Aaron replaced all of our old internal doors with 13 new oak doors which have transformed the look of our house. Toby was very responsive to questions before the work and was the only provider I asked to quote who responded quickly in fact within 24 hours. He suggested slightly different doors to those I proposed which while of the same quality were slightly cheaper. The work was undertaken in a very professional manner and we are very pleased with the outcome and in fact are considering having further work done by Militao Carpentry. They were happy working round our inquisitive dogs, protected the carpets, cleared up at the end of each day (the work took a week) and were always polite and flexible. I would happily recommend.

We got in touch with Toby having followed his work on social media. We had reached the end of a large renovation project and needed some bespoke carpentry items to fit some quirky spaces - fitted ‘open style’ wardrobes in our dresser maximising space, converting a strange shower cupboard in my daughter’s bedroom into some huge storage cupboards (making good the surrounding area), building corner bookshelves in my husband’s study. And creating a storage unit to hide our TV/Console items! On initial meeting, Toby took time to understand our requirements, creating excellent drawings which brought these to life. I got to select the finish in farrow & ball paint to match our rooms, they look fabulous! The products were made and installed with great efficiency. Toby and his team were perfectionists on site and didn’t complete the project until they/us were 100% happy. We would highly recommend his services.

Rafal came by recommendation and has now done several jobs for us fitting custom cupboards in living room and utility, remodelled some of our kitchen and fitted over 70m3 of wooden floor. He is superb, incredibly skilled, tidy, efficient and reliable. We will be getting him back to build fitted wardrobes later this year if he can fit us in. Can’t recommend him enough.

In mid 2024 we asked several local carpenters to visit to provide quotes for various jobs we wanted to be undertaken including under stairs storage, additional fitted kitchen units and various fitted cupboards and drawers. When Rafal came we knew that he was the right choice before he even sent his quotation, he exhibited calm confidence and also a warm and friendly nature. And we were pleased when his quotes were very competitive. Rafal's work was to an excellent quality. He was clear in what was achievable and good at communicating when modifications to any design were needed to be made. Rafal was great at communicating before and after the work was done, both by WhatsApp and calls, and was amazingly flexible on dates when we needed to adjust due to materials not arriving in time. As a contractor myself, I was very impressed by Rafal's van setup which is super clean and tidy and shows that he takes pride in his work and presentation of himself and his profession. I can highly recommend working with Rafal and we look forward to having him back for additional work.

Rafal has created a fantastic bespoke banquette seat for our kitchen, tailor made to our very specific requirements. We set him a challenge and he delivered! Would absolutely recommend his skill care and precision.

We are overjoyed with our new wardrobes and dressing table. Very happy with the entire process from working with us on the design, comprehension of the brief, cleanliness/tidiness, reliability and most importantly workmanship and the finished products! Greenwich Joinery replaced 10 of my windows in 2014 as the first part of a complete renovation of my home in a period building. The original job was of a really high standard and quality and the Greenwich Joinery team worked really professionally over a couple of weeks. Everything was left cleaner and tidier than before the work started. My immediate neighbours all noted and commented upon the quality of the work and the very pleasing results. One of the neighbours then commissioned her own window replacements from Greenwich Joinery. I think it was maybe 2-3yrs after the original work, I received a call from Greenwich Joinery to say they had performed a fix to one of my windows. The team had been driving past my home and did a visual check of a front bay window. They noted that a couple of angled joints had separated slightly (weathering) so they arranged to attend, fix, seal and paint the affected areas. This was all done and remediated before I even knew there had been an issue. What fantastic after-sales care. This summer, in 2024, I noticed that 2 of my casement windows had sticking panes. I contacted the team and asked if they could come and look, advise and fix. WIthin 2 weeks the Team attended to view and then arranged to come back and fix a week later. One window pane was re-hung, another had a section planed and then painted/sealed. Given that this fix was around 10 yrs after the original job I expected this work to be chargeable. Mark and the team advised that this would be a no charge fix which was a welcome surprise and once again reinforced my view of the professionalism of the team, the fact that their products and workmanship are of a high quality and that they value the customer relationship even years after a sale - something I think very rare in the current day. From my experience I cannot recommend Greenwich Joinery highly enough. An absolute pleasure to deal with a local firm from start to finish including survey, design, assistance and easing of required council planning forms and then the deploy and fit itself including all final paint finishes. I hired the services of Martin for an extensive remodeling of the downstairs of our home. We had a new layout and new kitchen. Martin came highly reccomended from a friend , we got him in and he carried out numerous jobs.. he hung a few doors for us, he also layed a laminate floor and done a great job changing our worktops and sorted some electrical problems out for us.. If it was possible to give 10* to JJ Carpentry and Maintenance Ltd I would. I had quite a complex issues with some very large doors to my property and had experienced very poor and expensive repairs previously. The work JJ did was outstanding and I couldn't be happier or more grateful.

The frame for my patio door needed some mending, replacement of timber, and revarnishing. An excellent service - Julius visited promptly and provided a clear quote. He and his worker came on the date agreed and carried out the work to a high standard. They worked hard and cleared up after themselves. Torben and his team have replaced 13 windows in our old house over the last 4 or so years. They are beautifully custom made and improved the thermal efficiency of our house massively. Torben made a bespoke hall door to replace one that was falling apart and which was unusable. Torben went to great trouble to save and incorporate the detailing of the original. Delivered as promised, fit to existing frame fine tuned on the day and glazier lined up to complete the project. Now we have a secure door that works.

We are delighted with the new front door that Torben has made and installed for us. The craftsmanship and detail in the door is superb! I would definitely use Torben again in the future.
