Although choosing a company to do home improvements can be anxiety provoking, I am so very pleased to have chosen Brightbuild Solutions Ltd. Elliot and his team of trades people (Chris, Harvey, Graham and Micky) were not only good at what they do but are reliable, professional, trustworthy, friendly, responsive and easy to communicate with. They delivered on their promises using good quality products and ensured everything was done as had been agreed. Our project required cutting and installing new doorways, windows and a much larger patio door. It also involved erecting and plastering dry walls, levelling and laying flooring. A new bathroom was installed along with new lighting and switches, etc. We can only say a heartfelt thank you to Elliott and his team. We have recommended them to family members and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Brightbuild made a bespoke hardwood front door and frame with an arched top. Excellent workmanship exactly to our specifications. They were on time for appointments and the installation was completed perfectly. They cleaned up after the work - spotless. I would use them again and strongly recommend them.

From start to finish Elliot and Harvey were incredible! Cant recommend them enough and would 100% use them again. They are extremely efficient and hard working, especially to get the kitchen done in a short time span. Just really lovely guys to have around and helped when we had problems with the kitchen company we ordered from too. If you need help theses are your guys!

Dan did our utility extension last year and I cannot recommend both him as a consummate professional, as well as the quality of his work, enough. Dan has completed and led a "whole house" refurbishment and remodel for us, from loft to garage and garden, no part untouched! We are so happy with the work completed in our garden which included the building of an external staircase, renewing the deck and making a lovely feature of an out of an control tree! From our first contact with JJ Carpentry to meeting with Alan the CEO and then the allocation of our work has been a highly positive and stress free experience. Thank you to everyone at JJ for their professionalism and hard work when completing our kitchen renovation. We found everyone to be very reliable and easy to communicate with. From the onset, Alan had a nice, friendly manner and it was his designs that enabled us to achieve a beautiful kitchen within our budget. Shelley in the office was easy to get hold of throughout the whole process. All the trades that visited our home were friendly and skilled. Matt and Rob were both outstanding, nothing was too much trouble and they worked so hard every day to ensure that they fitted our kitchen to the highest standard. We have no hesitation recommending JJ Carpentry to others; we were very lucky to have found them and would use them again if we needed to.

We've been delighted with the work from JJ Carpentry, creating and installing bespoke casement windows for our home in Lewes, which is a Listed Building. They took great care to respond to a tricky and very exacting brief, to conform exactly to very tight planning regulations. They also did the work bang on schedule, bang to budget, and worked in tricky weather to install the windows on the top floor of a tall town house within the time schedule promised. Great care was taken throughout, while the craftsmanship and the communication with us, as customers, has been exemplary. Will happily recommend the company to anyone.

We got in touch with Toby having followed his work on social media. We had reached the end of a large renovation project and needed some bespoke carpentry items to fit some quirky spaces - fitted ‘open style’ wardrobes in our dresser maximising space, converting a strange shower cupboard in my daughter’s bedroom into some huge storage cupboards (making good the surrounding area), building corner bookshelves in my husband’s study. And creating a storage unit to hide our TV/Console items! On initial meeting, Toby took time to understand our requirements, creating excellent drawings which brought these to life. I got to select the finish in farrow & ball paint to match our rooms, they look fabulous! The products were made and installed with great efficiency. Toby and his team were perfectionists on site and didn’t complete the project until they/us were 100% happy. We would highly recommend his services.

Toby has done further work for us adding hooks mounted on oak to the back of a door. Super job again. Toby did a top job, replacing all our bedroom doors. We're very pleased with the doors and the quality of the work is excellent. We will definitely use Militao again when we need bespoke carpentry completed.

Toby designed and fitted some beautiful cupboards for us. We Have been using them for 6 months now, can tell the quality is good- absolutely no problems. Brilliant communication and also allowed us to change the design (from shaker style to a more traditional finish) at last minute which didn’t affect the final quote.

Martin and the team supporting him did an excellent job in removing our old kitchen and replacing it with a new one which they built and fitted. Martin was extremely helpful and professional. He was skillful in his joinery and very responsive to our requests as well as the challenges presented by the uneven walls and floors. As well as excellent quality, we are confident that Martin gave us a very reasonable quote for the work and we are happy to confirm he worked to that initial quote. We wouldn’t hesitate to commission more work from him or recommend him to others.

We have engaged MS Joinery on two occasions. Martin designed and built a shaker style fitted window seat with full height cupboards either side in the enhance hall of our listed cottage. The installation really makes an impression when people arrive at our home. Our new kitchen also looks fantastic with oak work tops fitted around curved corner units and an inset Belfast sink. Martin was punctual and the advice he gave was excellent. You know a tradesman really cares about his customers home when you see how well he clears up. I would have absolutely no qualms in recommending MS Joinery for custom timber installations. Thank you Martin!

FrankeHOMES did a great job renovating my house. As a new owner I had an issue with damp in the living room wall. Rafal came by recommendation and has now done several jobs for us fitting custom cupboards in living room and utility, remodelled some of our kitchen and fitted over 70m3 of wooden floor. He is superb, incredibly skilled, tidy, efficient and reliable. We will be getting him back to build fitted wardrobes later this year if he can fit us in. Can’t recommend him enough.

Rafal's workmanship is to a high standard, I am happy with the under stairs storage he made and fitted. Communication was a bit tricky initially (and I was really adamant I wanted Rafal to do this job for us, after seeing his amazing portfolio!), once we passed that I can't fault him for the job done. I also have to say Rafal is a perfectionist and wasn't fully satisfied with how the door was installed, so he found a way to make it work better even if that meant a couple more hours of work. Reliable, tidy, polite and a great work done! Thanks, Rafal (and sorry the review came in so late!).

In mid 2024 we asked several local carpenters to visit to provide quotes for various jobs we wanted to be undertaken including under stairs storage, additional fitted kitchen units and various fitted cupboards and drawers. When Rafal came we knew that he was the right choice before he even sent his quotation, he exhibited calm confidence and also a warm and friendly nature. And we were pleased when his quotes were very competitive. Rafal's work was to an excellent quality. He was clear in what was achievable and good at communicating when modifications to any design were needed to be made. Rafal was great at communicating before and after the work was done, both by WhatsApp and calls, and was amazingly flexible on dates when we needed to adjust due to materials not arriving in time. As a contractor myself, I was very impressed by Rafal's van setup which is super clean and tidy and shows that he takes pride in his work and presentation of himself and his profession. I can highly recommend working with Rafal and we look forward to having him back for additional work.

Josh from Ennovate quoted, designed (to our unique needs!) and built our under stairs storage so efficiently and we are SO happy with the final product. Not only was he the cleanest and tidiest tradesman we have ever had in our renovation journey - which was a relief as we have a very curious toddler and two cats! Josh also answered all our questions, gave us great advice on how we finalised the painting etc and supported us through a rejig of our original plans flawlessly giving us more space than we ever dreamt of! Josh even built our robot hoover a home underneath part of the cupboard which has been great for space saving!
