The customer service is excellent. I really recommend visiting her showroom as the face to face experience is lovely and really assists in creating a vision. We really wanted a starlit canopy at our venue but the type we wanted hadn’t been installed there before so this was a mammoth task for Kayleigh and her team. They worked so hard to make it happen and I know a huge amount of work went on behind the scenes. She really went above and beyond to make our vision come to life and remained conscious of our budget throughout. We recently had the pleasure of having Kayleigh and her team do some decor for my daughter’s wedding. Working in events myself I was a little picky with choosing someone to do what I consider to be an extremely important part of any celebration! We met with Kayleigh and I knew straight away she understood my daughter’s vision. I also gave Kayleigh the not so easy task of creating a disco ball canopy in the orangery at the venue my daughter had chosen. They absolutely smashed it! It was the talking point of the wedding breakfast. The signage they provided was perfect and the many candles were stunning. Kayleigh was easy to work with and I’d highly recommend using this company.

I recently completed the 1:1 course in Wedding Planning & Business marketing. I was very impressed with how the course was structured. I was given 8 books which I read before the 1:1 session which I found to be incredibly detailed & informative. The 1:1 session was engaging and I really enjoyed Pippa's teaching style. I found Pippa to be very friendly, knowledgeable, and transparent about the wedding industry and how I could work to develop my business and succeed. I really appreciated the time Pippa took to help me work on my branding and develop a realistic business plan. I would definitely recommend the WPS and I feel confident to begin my journey as a wedding planner.

I want to say thank you for the wonderful wedding planning course. The course was incredibly informative and practical, and I feel I’ve learned so much! Delighted to have stayed at Bore Place House for a long weekend with the extended family. Beautiful rambling house perfect for youngsters to enjoy the early Christmas spirit. We had 18 of us staying, 10 adults and 8 kids from new born twins to 7 year old. We really didn’t want for anything, glorious rambling walks, watching farm life at work, cow milking, calves and all under the expertise guidance of Neil who couldn’t do enough for us. There is a fire pit overlooking the attractive rear garden and pond and a well stocked wood pile. Large rooms, very large kitchen all made for an easy to manage weekend. We were all very sorry to leave and will be back.

Stunning venue for corporate groups looking for inspiration and space to think about all journeys that lead towards greater sustainability and regenerative impact. I visited with two groups in April and May 2024 and have already booked again for next year. Highly recommended.

I recently attended a Festive Chutney Making workshop using ingredients sourced from the garden at Bore Place.. The workshop began with a talk by Bore Places market gardener, which makes you appreciate the difficulties faced by market gardeners. Bore Places resident chef taking the workshop was very professional and it was lovely to see how passionate she is about what she is doing, and what she hopes to be able to do at Bore Place in the future by way of other workshops. Apart from the delicious chutney we made, learning how to make crackers and sampling some of the Blackwood cheese was a highlight. I would thoroughly recommend this workshop, and look forward to doing others when they become available.

We got married at Bore Place in October 2024. It is the most magical and incredible wedding venue and we had the best weekend of our lives. Ana and the team were fabulous - they were so friendly and helpful and we were made to feel at home. Having exclusive hire of the whole site enabled our guests to fully relax and enjoy the whole experience - every person commented on how amazing the venue was. It was simply perfect, and we feel so lucky to have had the wedding of our dreams at such a special place.

Amazing service from Kent Events…. We contacted Jay back in January to organise my birthday party in July..he arranged marquee, toilets, 360 photo, catering (bbq-the burgers were insane), music, sax and bongos which were brilliant. Everyone had an amazing night.. they really took the stress out of organising a party… highly recommend them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We’ve just held our second family reunion at Tudor Wing and had the most wonderful time. The property is full of charm and character and there’s plenty of room. The lovely grounds, surrounding countryside and pool make this a perfect venue for us. The staff were friendly and attentive, the house was clean and well presented on arrival with our bedding requirements as requested. There were plenty of bathroom towels for all of us. Lovely Priscilla was on hand for any ongoing needs.

We had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at Hoath House in July 2024, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. With over 200 guests attending and more than 50 staying on-site, including babies, elderly relatives, and everyone in between, Hoath House exceeded our expectations. The property is ideal for large gatherings, providing plenty of communal space to enjoy time together without ever feeling crowded. The rooms were clean, each with its own unique character, adding to the venue's charm. Precilla was incredibly attentive throughout our stay, always on hand to assist with any needs, big or small. And on the day itself, Harry and his team were fantastic—they ensured everything ran smoothly, so we could focus on celebrating. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and will absolutely be returning to Hoath House. For anyone looking for a venue that combines historical charm with practical hospitality for a memorable, large-scale event, we highly recommend this gem!

We got married at Hoath House in Sept 2024 and had the best weekend ever. The house and grounds were gorgeous, the staff fantastic and the whole wedding set up was ideal. Harry was super understanding and accommodating throughout all of the lead up and would always offer to help. We had about 50 family and friends on site all weekend, the self contained areas were helpful so guests could look after themselves but still be on site. We stayed in one of the glamping pods and it was lovely - definitely the best way to start your wedding day with a dip in the hot tub! We also managed to get a dip in the pool on the Friday which was a great way to unwind after wedding prep. The accommodations were great, some rooms were quirky with ceiling set ups etc but wasn’t a big deal - just check you don’t put the tallest in there. It also involves communal bathrooms but everyone was fine with that. The lovely Stephanie from Leave it to Us catering sorted some absolutely delicious food for us, we couldn’t believe the quality, so definitely go with her!! Would definitely recommend Hoath House as a place to tie the knot surrounded by incredible grounds, in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Photo credit to Jo, While We Wander

We had our wedding here and Harry was absolutely amazing! He was able to answer all emails quickly and put up with my constant questioning! The place itself is a hidden gem in Kent that is perfect for a wedding or social event with many rooms for many guest to stay!

Chic Weddings did the bouquets, buttonholes/lapels & venue styling for my daughter & new son-in-law's wedding on 20th July 2024. The top table flowers & hand tied bouquets on each table were gorgeous. Lots of comments about the bride & bridesmaids bouquets which were absolutely stunning. The tables had silver crackle vases & tea light holders on them, & we had a sheer curtain backdrop against the window behind the top table to frame it. I can highyly recommend Chic Weddings, the team are warm, friendly & very helpful; they reply quickly to calls & emails, the whole planning process was smooth & stress free. Wonderful, thank you!

If you’re looking for someone to style your venue and take all the stress away. Hire these guys now. We found them through our venue and went to one of these procecco and browse days. Well these guys formed my wedding. I found them, my rings and my stationary through there show room! I wanted an Autumn wonderland and they delivered! They came in the morning and when I went to check on them they needed no direction they knew what they were doing I could go upstairs and enjoy my morning stress free. When I came down for my ceremony I couldn’t believe it was the same room it looked amazing. The colours, the attention to detail, the neatness!!! Everyone of my guests were in awe and took so many photos infront of our arch! These guys know weddings. Book them tell them your vision and they will make it come true. I didn’t have a clue what flowers I wanted and let them have complete control and my bouquet and the boys pocket flowers were stunning! They listened to my many and ever changing ideas, helping to make it a reality and put it all together. They even created mistmatched bouquets in colours that were sentimental to each bridesmaid, yet tied in with my bouquet and including all the colours and flowers that I liked.
