Having worked with Pippa and her team at Nova on a few weddings now we’ve been highly impressed on the high level of service she provides for her couples. There is no stone unturned on the lead up to the day which makes our job as caterers a lot easier for us. Nova is the only wedding planning service we at Kitchen of Kent would ever recommend.

We have worked with Pippa and Nova Wedding Planning for several years. We are always very pleased when a couple use Pippa's services, as we know the wedding will be perfect. She is extremely efficient and highly professional and her attention to detail means everything will run smoothly. She takes all the pressure off the bride and groom, so they can relax and enjoy their day. We at Cavendish Marquess would definitely recommend Nova Wedding Planning excellent service.

Working with the lovely Charlotte is always a great and stress free. She is organised and takes anything in her stride. I have worked with Charlotte on a number of occasions and always look forward to one of her weddings.

Charlotte was just incredible from start to finish helping us on our wedding day. In the build up to the ‘big day’ she provided us with so many helpful tips that we hadn’t yet thought of and dealt with all our suppliers so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. On our actual day Charlotte was a superstar and ensured we could relax in full confidence not worrying about a thing. Any hiccups were sorted within moments and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer person to run our day. Charlotte is not only a professional, keeping everyone and everything running smoothly, but a lovely person who was a joy to have with us on the day. We could not have had our day without her support. Everyone needs a Charlotte for their wedding! Thank you again for helping to make it so special for us.

The hardest thing about this review will be keeping it short. We cannot say enough about Charlotte and Katie. Their enthusiasm was there right from the start, from the very first meeting. They finished our thoughts and sentences and we had an immediate reassurance that we were in capable hands. We are very detailed orientated, we had done most of the planning ourselves before we brought Charlotte and Katie on board and that’s probably our biggest regret, not finding them sooner and bringing them on board earlier. Their experience, attention to detail and organisational skills were self-evident and they asked about details that no one else had thought of except us. Other than us (the bide and groom) they were the only people to have EVERY single detail of the big day (and remember them). We knew we could completely trust them to manage the set up and running of our special day. They understood our whole vision and the part that every supplier played in our day. We can honestly say that we had brilliant suppliers, but there were so many jobs that fell outside of the venue/ florist/ stylist etc that without Black Sheep, those jobs wouldn’t have got done and our day wouldn’t have been as special as it was. The day before the wedding, we realised that there were DIY jobs that we weren’t going to get done, so we asked the girls if they could do them and they agreed without hesitation. We felt guilty at the amount we asked them to do, but they really took it all in their stride, they were completely unfazed. No idea how they did it all in the time. They did not stop working from the day before our wedding, all the way through our wedding, right through to every bag, crate, box and fairly light being packed up. They even kept the staff at the venue on their toes, prompting them to clear plates. No job was ever too big or too small for Charlotte and Katie. They were always there when they were needed and they made it look effortless, but we know it absolutely wasn’t. The wedding industry can be greedy and grasping, but Katie and Charlotte give everything they’ve got and then a bit more. They were determined to make our day as stress free and perfect as possible for us. They went above and beyond what we expected, even our guests have commented on how much they did throughout the day. Katie & Charlotte won’t let you down, the relationship between them is special and they are a formidable team. Nothing we can say in any review will express our gratitude for all they did for us, we are so sad that we don’t get to do the wedding planning over again, except this time with Black Sheep involved from the beginning.

I don’t even know where to start in saying thank you to Charlotte and her team for helping us on our wedding day. From start to finish, Charlotte made sure every single detail was checked and looked after. Throughout the whole build up, she was reassuring and positive - putting us totally at ease. On the day, she ensured everything was set up to the highest quality and that everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. There is no way we could of had our day run without a glitch without Charlotte and her team! I cannot thank her or recommend highly enough!

It was a real pleasure to visit The Oak Barn again this time to perform for the newlyweds Abbie & Tom, the venue grounds are well kept and a beautiful setting for such a special occasion, the barn is a great space to host the evening party with a raised stage area for the bands to perform on, the staff are there to greet on arrival, friendly and helpful throughout and one of Kent’s finest wedding venues! We look forward to the next visit 🤘🙂 🥳

We had our team offsite at The Oak Barn and it was perfect from start to end - the venue, the suppliers recommended, all the staff! The location! It is a truly gorgeous place. Especially for us Londoners that need some county air!! Deana and Tim are the nicest people to work with ever, the communication before the event and during made everything so easy. I really appreciate how much effort they put in to make the day a success. I’ve had multiple people ask me about the venue after they’ve seen photographs and everyone is already asking if we can go back again next year!! Thank you so so so much, I was blown away by the entire day and so happy with how the event went.

We're so happy we chose The Oak Barn as our wedding venue! We got married here in August 2023. We fell in love with the venue from the first viewing. The setting is stunning, and the barn is modern but still has a rustic feel, which was perfect for us! The cottages on site are also beautiful. The team at The Oak Barn are a wonderful bunch - incredibly helpful and make you feel at ease throughout the whole process. I want to give a special thanks to Chrystelle, who was amazing in the run up to the wedding and on the day. She made sure everything was running smoothly and really kept us calm! It was one of the most magical days of our lives and we couldn't have wished for a more perfect venue.

We recently had our wedding at The Oak Barn and it was the perfect place. The barn and surroundings are absolutely beautiful, the fact you can spend the whole weekend there really makes the wedding feel special with plenty of time to set up and relax. Absolutely perfect! We hired Once Upon a Wish for our daughter’s 4th birthday and it was the best decision. Cinderella was so impressively like the actual Cinderella - the hair, makeup, costumes are the best I’ve seen! And she was so wonderful with the kids, they all loved her. She was beautiful, kind, timely, fun, professional and all around just such a perfect addition to the day. I’d highly recommend to anyone.

My daughter and I attended the Pumpkins and Pixie Dust event at Tonbridge Castle on Wednesday and I was blown away by how fabulous it was. The castle space was used brilliantly with immersive theatre at every turn, my daughter and her friend were 100% committed and involved with the storytelling! As always, all cast members were fantastic and interacted magically with the children. Such an unusual and unique event. I’m so glad we went, it was worth every penny. Thank you Once Upon A Wish for bringing the magic.

We had the most amazing time. And I have to say it was amazingly thought out you all deserve a massive well done 👏 from start to finish you had me in invested as an adult id love to be a little one going through there at Christmas. The Christmas grotto’s absolutely amazing, brings the magic of Christmas to life and brings so so much joy to all the children, incredible actors and staff and you can see so much hard works gone in to making it look incredible, Thank you soo so much to you all, you really made my two girls Christmas time so special, this is are second year coming and will definitely be coming back 😃🎄🤶🏼🎅🏼

Mulberry provided the decor for our wedding in June this year at Highley Manor and we were absolutely blown away with how gorgeous the set up was and had multiple compliments from our guests saying how it looked like a fairytale. The team were amazing to work with throughout, so professional and responsive and full of amazing ideas. We really enjoyed our visits to the workshop, where they have so many items for inspiration it's like a cave of wonders! Thank you so much for all your help, would definitely recommend to anyone!

My fiance and I had the most wonderful experience with Alice at the Mulberry showroom. We highly recommend going for the FREE(!) 2 hour session. During this we were guided through designing our table decor and viewing the huge variety of options for the rest of the wedding day. Mulberry events were a friend of the The Ravenswood wedding venue where we got married at the beginning of June and I am so glad that we opted to work with them! They took the stress out of decorating the venue, from the pre wedding meeting where we got to have a look at all the decorations they had to offer to setting them up on the day so it wasn't something we had to worry about. I just wanted to say a huge thank you for styling our wedding venue, it looked absolutely fantastic and made the already gorgeous venue look even better! You guys were a dream to work with and so helpful and kind throughout the whole wedding planning. Everything came together so well, it felt seamless! It was also so exciting turning up to the venue in the morning seeing it all ready, I felt like I had an exclusive sneak peek!! The showroom visits beforehand were also incredibly helpful to help us bring our vision to life and made picking and choosing everything a lot easier. It was also incredibly helpful having a sample of the napkins so we could take it to our other suppliers and match our colour scheme perfectly!

Evoke helped me organise the disco, photo booth some drapes and extra lights for the venue. Emma got everything perfectly timed so each part was installed at a set time on the day so it was minimally disruptive to the wedding party, the draps add that extra special touch to the room, the mirror photo booth was a major and DJ was spot on. All in all Evoke events added those finishing touches to what was a memorable special occasion. Highly recommended and when my other daughter gets married I will use Evoke events again. Thanks Emma💕

Working with Emma Warburton, Founder and MD of Evoke Events, was a breath of fresh air and a real pleasure from beginning to end. Emma and her team provided an exceptional service for this high profile event discerning exactly the vision we had in mind with fresh ideas, being very pro-active, fast acting precise decisions when required and nothing was too much trouble. Needless to say our event rolled out seamlessly which we were so pleased with and very thankful for. We cannot thank Emma and her team enough and very much look forward to working with her again.

Emma helped us with hiring waiting staff for our DIY wedding and after patiently discussing our needs, she provided us with an amazing team of four. Arriving on site whilst we were in our ceremony, they worked unsupervised to provide an excellent service to our guests who were full of compliments for them. We had brought some flowers back with us from the church and they were incredibly helpful in artfully displaying them around the marquee. No job was ever too much and they worked with complete professionalism. Thank you Emma and team.

Emma was absolutely incredible from start to finish! Nothing was ever too much trouble, she was always at the end of the phone for advice, had amazing ideas and was so patient with the various Gov. restrictions and date changes for our wedding. What a gem! Oak Tree Barn is an absolutely stunning wedding venue and one of the best-kept secrets in Kent. It’s perfect for couples looking for something intimate yet beautiful, with a quirky and charming atmosphere that’s just magical. We at Kate and Kate love working here—the setting is gorgeous, and it offers such a personal touch to every wedding. If you’re after a venue that feels like a hidden treasure, Oak Tree Barn is a fabulous choice!

Well what can we say, we visited OTB, absolutely fell in love with the venue and the team and signed on the dotted line before we even got home or visited any other venues. From start to finish OTB staff were incredible, especially Lydia who hands down absolutely smashed her role as Wedding Coordinator. We had countless compliments for Lydia on the day and she is a true asset to the team. The venue itself is insane, so many of our guests commented on the day of how well everything worked. Nothing was ever too much and the day to night transition feels like you have two venues in one. If we could do it all again, we wouldn’t change a thing. We included the Bothy and utilised both the on site salon and glamping pods, all these additions just added to the wow factor and overall experience. Will 100000% be recommending this venue to all future couples, especially Ashleigh working in the industry. We had the most incredible wedding day at Oak Tree Barn in August 2024 (I can't believe it has taken me this long to write a review). From the moment we stepped foot in the venue for a viewing, we knew that this was where we were meant to get married. Renee and the team made us feel so at home instantly and we fell in love with the venue itself. It really is breathtaking, even more so on the day! Prior to the wedding, the team could not be more accommodating, answering all of our questions and making suggestions based on the kind of vibe that we were going for. There was no ask too big or small. They really understand what people want to see at a wedding and use their experience to help you make decisions that make the day special. During set up, the team were on hand to support. Even when I had a small mental breakdown that the wrong serviceware was delivered, Renee stepped in to help figure it out and take away that pre-wedding stress, something that I truly appreciated. She really does care about making the weddings held at Oak Tree Barn perfect! On the day, they made us feel like celebrities. Special thanks go out to Lydia, our wedding coordinator, who found ways to give us special surprises throughout the day (our room reveal with The Function Band) that we were not planning to do, but has become one of my favourite memories from the day! I think the most special thing about this venue is that they are constantly learning from each wedding they do and adapt their venue to add more and more to what they offer (like the Soggy Salloon and the Disco balls that were installed as a feature the day before our wedding - which we adored!) We cannot wait to continue visiting year after year to celebrate our anniversary at OTB, and to reconnect with the amazing team. Renee, Lydia, Teresa and the whole OTB family, we cannot thank you enough!

I had the sincere pleasure of capturing a beautiful wedding, here at Oak Tree Barns, in May 2024. As a local Kent photographer, it was a real treat to visit one of our county's most beautiful wedding venues. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL! Very well thought out and, clearly, very carefully and lovingly looked after. I must also praise the exceptional staff. The entire OTB team were incredibly kind, supportive and helpful. Everything a couple (and a fellow supplier!) could hope for on an otherwise busy wedding day! I very much look forward to returning and working alongside the fantastic staff at Oak Tree Barns again soon.

Words really can't explain how fantastic the service from Kayleigh was throughout the process in both the preparations for, and the day of, our wedding. Kayleigh has an amazing ability to make you feel like the only couple she is working for through the whole experience. She is fantastic at listening to the "vision", sharing ideas and advice, and executing to perfection. Her responsiveness, above all else, was so helpful and reassuring when handling lots of suppliers - it really does make the difference. My only regret is that I don't have another event to use her for! If i could give 6 stars I would.

I cannot rate this company highly enough. Kayleigh is just wonderful. It was a pleasure to work with her on our wedding journey. She is warm, friendly and really helpful. The customer service is excellent. I really recommend visiting her showroom as the face to face experience is lovely and really assists in creating a vision. We really wanted a starlit canopy at our venue but the type we wanted hadn’t been installed there before so this was a mammoth task for Kayleigh and her team. They worked so hard to make it happen and I know a huge amount of work went on behind the scenes. She really went above and beyond to make our vision come to life and remained conscious of our budget throughout. I would highly recommend the Pretty Events Company. Kayleigh was a delight to deal with as we planned our wedding. We really didn’t have much of a clue about event dressing so Kayleigh met us at the wedding venue (The Vines) and gave us some great ideas and inspiration. Well what can we say? Kayleigh at Pretty Events was AMAZING! We can't thank her enough for the effort she put in to making the décor at our wedding at Hall Place just perfect. From the moment we met Kayleigh at her showroom we knew we had met someone who understood us and knew the look we were aiming for and she so delivered on everything. The chair coverings, lanterns and flowers in the room where we got married looked just as we imagined/hoped it would look and the main hall for our reception was just WOW, so much so that it actually left us speechless (which is a miracle in itself as Kayleigh will confirm as we do like to talk!). Nothing was ever too much trouble for Kayleigh and for that we will always be so grateful as our day was just perfect. If we ever need any décor for a party or future event then we will definitely be calling on Kayleigh as it will be like getting in touch with a friend. Chic arranged the flowers for my wedding at Hayne House and created the most beautiful bouquets and archway. They listened to my many and ever changing ideas, helping to make it a reality and put it all together. They even created mistmatched bouquets in colours that were sentimental to each bridesmaid, yet tied in with my bouquet and including all the colours and flowers that I liked. If you’re looking for someone to style your venue and take all the stress away. Hire these guys now. We found them through our venue and went to one of these procecco and browse days. Well these guys formed my wedding. I found them, my rings and my stationary through there show room! I wanted an Autumn wonderland and they delivered! They came in the morning and when I went to check on them they needed no direction they knew what they were doing I could go upstairs and enjoy my morning stress free. When I came down for my ceremony I couldn’t believe it was the same room it looked amazing. The colours, the attention to detail, the neatness!!! Everyone of my guests were in awe and took so many photos infront of our arch! These guys know weddings. Book them tell them your vision and they will make it come true. I didn’t have a clue what flowers I wanted and let them have complete control and my bouquet and the boys pocket flowers were stunning! Chic were amazing! We hired them for our wedding flowers and they delivered. The consultation was perfect as Tammy listened to our vision of what we wanted. We were also able to adapt our choices as we started to have better visions as we engaged with other suppliers and saw various inspiration. The flowers lasted ages after the wedding, so the enjoyment could continue after the big day. I absoultely loved my bouquet with all the special flowers and it was great to be able to have one of my favourite flowers in there even though it was only at the start of the season. Chic Weddings did the bouquets, buttonholes/lapels & venue styling for my daughter & new son-in-law's wedding on 20th July 2024. The top table flowers & hand tied bouquets on each table were gorgeous. Lots of comments about the bride & bridesmaids bouquets which were absolutely stunning. The tables had silver crackle vases & tea light holders on them, & we had a sheer curtain backdrop against the window behind the top table to frame it. I can highyly recommend Chic Weddings, the team are warm, friendly & very helpful; they reply quickly to calls & emails, the whole planning process was smooth & stress free. Wonderful, thank you!
