Fantastic stay for our planned getaway. If you need to stay in Maidstone, this property is well suited within close proximity to the high st with plenty of pubs and bars nearby. The room itself had everything we needed, the self check in process was very straight forward due to the fantastic communication from the owners beforehand. Hope to stay there again in the future.

Absolutely loved the room we were in. Bathroom is gorgeous. Single bath was simply Devine. Bed was soooo comfy silk sheets. Very very well priced. Owner is very polite and happy to help with any needs and recommending lush restaurants. ‼️ HIGHLY RECOMMEND ‼️

The place is amazing! First impression 'is this a museum?' Very well restored house with authentical rooms and amazing reception. I would recommend this place if you are looking for an extravagant stay, for any event, it will make you feel like you are back in time, living a royal life. Without Penny our day would have been a stressful, disorganised mess! Penny could not have made us feel more at ease, during the planning and especially on the day. Hi, this review is for our AMAZING wedding planner Penny at Penelope Weddings. Our wedding just passed earlier this month in June so a big sigh of relief as I'm writing this. First, I would like to mention that I live in the United States and trying to plan a wedding overseas was nearly impossible. In the US, we find our vendors by using mainly Yelp searches and in most parts of the world, Yelp is not a feasible option. I was able to find a couple vendors on my own just by searching and joining random groups on FB, but due to the time zone difference and other obstacles, it was challenging to say the least. The DJ we hired recommended using a wedding planner and up until that point I hadn't really thought that was an option for us. She gave me 3 referrals and we actually did a zoom call with another wedding planning company prior to talking to Penny. They were asking for an unreasonable amount of money and more importantly we didn't connect as they seemed cold and it was all a very transactional conversation. Then our next meeting was with Penny and from the beginning she made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She made it very clear from the beginning of her involvement and guidance. From the beginning to end, Penny literally held my hand and walked us through everything. She made suggestions and recommendations that we would never had thought of and we truly appreciate everything that she has done for us. At the end of the wedding, I've asked for Penny's help to mail by bouquet to an Etsy vendor to dry my flowers and preserve them because we had to fly to Lisbon the next day after the wedding! If you can afford to and you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, please just reach out to Penny. I promise that you won't regret it!

Amazing service from Kent Events…. We contacted Jay back in January to organise my birthday party in July..he arranged marquee, toilets, 360 photo, catering (bbq-the burgers were insane), music, sax and bongos which were brilliant. Everyone had an amazing night.. they really took the stress out of organising a party… highly recommend them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve worked with Kent Event Packages on a number of occasions and have always found them to be organised, friendly and professional, always putting on a fantastic show and meeting the client’s brief. The DJs have always been brilliant and have created a great atmosphere for each event. Would highly recommend!

Me and some friends went to see the Micheal Jackson event back in April, and it was excellent! Great atmosphere, food was lovely and looking forward to booking again.

We couldn't be more happy that we chose Westenhanger castle as our venue. We had the most amazing time, the staff were so organised they thought of every little detail and were beyond accommodating along the way and on the day. They made us feel so special and were always friendly and made everything run like clockwork. The building, grounds and gazebo is just simply stunning and looked so beautiful in autumn. Thank you !

What can we say…this venue is nothing short of exceptional. With such beautiful grounds that are taken care of with such precision, you just couldn’t wish for a more beautiful setting for your special day. The food was also delicious and we had so many guests comment on how it was the quality of restaurant food vs typical wedding cuisine you might expect. Such a lovely touch to allow your guests a menu choice too. But actually above and beyond the venue itself is the people. Our interactions throughout with Jackie, Tania and Vicky were just phenomenal. We were treated like the only couple to ever get married there. Nothing was too difficult and every proposal we placed their way was accommodated as very best they could. On the day itself, Jackie could not have been more perfect. Her calmness and attention to detail of every aspect of our day was ticked off so perfectly. Westenhanger Castle will forever have a special place in our hearts and our only disappointment is given it’s an exclusive wedding venue, we can’t go back every year haha! This place is a gem and an absolutely stunning setting for special occasions. We had our daughter’s wedding there in June. The staff were attentive from the moment we first visited to look around, to the time we left having packed up everything the morning after the wedding. The food was delicious and generous portions the drinks were flowing. The castle is authentic and steeped in history which gives it a magical atmosphere.

This venue is a truly remarkable backdrop for your special day. We didn’t view before our wedding day (crazy I know) and we were not disappointed. Beautiful maintained and eclectically styled. Perfection.

Evoke helped me organise the disco, photo booth some drapes and extra lights for the venue. Emma got everything perfectly timed so each part was installed at a set time on the day so it was minimally disruptive to the wedding party, the draps add that extra special touch to the room, the mirror photo booth was a major and DJ was spot on. All in all Evoke events added those finishing touches to what was a memorable special occasion. Highly recommended and when my other daughter gets married I will use Evoke events again. Thanks Emma💕

Emma was absolutely incredible from start to finish! Nothing was ever too much trouble, she was always at the end of the phone for advice, had amazing ideas and was so patient with the various Gov. restrictions and date changes for our wedding. Chic were amazing! We hired them for our wedding flowers and they delivered. The consultation was perfect as Tammy listened to our vision of what we wanted. We were also able to adapt our choices as we started to have better visions as we engaged with other suppliers and saw various inspiration. The flowers lasted ages after the wedding, so the enjoyment could continue after the big day. I absoultely loved my bouquet with all the special flowers and it was great to be able to have one of my favourite flowers in there even though it was only at the start of the season. If you’re looking for someone to style your venue and take all the stress away. Hire these guys now. We found them through our venue and went to one of these procecco and browse days. Well these guys formed my wedding. I found them, my rings and my stationary through there show room! I wanted an Autumn wonderland and they delivered! They came in the morning and when I went to check on them they needed no direction they knew what they were doing I could go upstairs and enjoy my morning stress free. When I came down for my ceremony I couldn’t believe it was the same room it looked amazing. The colours, the attention to detail, the neatness!!! Everyone of my guests were in awe and took so many photos infront of our arch! These guys know weddings. Book them tell them your vision and they will make it come true. I didn’t have a clue what flowers I wanted and let them have complete control and my bouquet and the boys pocket flowers were stunning! Chic Weddings did the bouquets, buttonholes/lapels & venue styling for my daughter & new son-in-law's wedding on 20th July 2024. The top table flowers & hand tied bouquets on each table were gorgeous. Lots of comments about the bride & bridesmaids bouquets which were absolutely stunning. The tables had silver crackle vases & tea light holders on them, & we had a sheer curtain backdrop against the window behind the top table to frame it. I can highyly recommend Chic Weddings, the team are warm, friendly & very helpful; they reply quickly to calls & emails, the whole planning process was smooth & stress free. Wonderful, thank you!

The venue is stunning, the organisation and communication was first class right from the start, we booked it immediately on our first visit. Tania and Sam made everything so easy and enjoyable for us. The castle is so magical and the staff so welcoming going over and beyond our expectations. They were happy to accommodate our requests (we wanted our friend to conduct the ceremony who is a registrar). And to have our dog with us - he had a great wedding day! We had many WOW moments especially in the little details (roaring log fire /home made rose petal confetti / raspberries in our champagne) the elopement team made our day the best! The cake , flowers, decorations and food were exceptional. All our friends and family have loved seeing Fleur’s amazing photographs of our 50 shades of pink elopement at Westenhanger Castle 🏰 . We would highly recommend the elopement service they offer.

After deciding we wanted to elope we started to look into a venue. We came across elope kent on Google. After looking through there website we decide to look at allington castle venue. From the minute we spoke to sam at elope we felt instintatly in safe hands. Sam was amazing and reassured us the whole way through.
