I've never left a review before, no one has impressed me enough to do so but these guys are awesome! Professional, friendly, huge fun; Claire & Dean will keep you entertained (and drinking) all evening and the food was great. I'm so glad I found YEG for my wedding reception, would definitely recommend and will be using them again.

Booking your events group for our wedding was easily one of the best decisions we made! What a service they provide! They were fantastic and so lovely on the lead up to the big day and on the day it's self. The food was beautiful and I've heard nothing but good things from our guests. The bar had so much choice and very good prices, we had some very merry quests! Thank you to James and the team. Will definitely be using your services again in the future.

We met James at a wedding fair. He quickly organised for us to visit the property and we fell in love with it. Communication with James was amazing. I asked him SO many questions, many outside work hours, he was always ready to help with answers. He made us feel at ease. Our guests all commented on the uniqueness of the venue. We had freedom to make it our own which we wanted. Thank you for helping us create our special day! X

We hired your events for our wedding and from start to finish the team couldn't have been more helpful. They replied to emails promptly, answered all my questions, and made arranging everything very easy. On the day James and the team were amazing, they arrived before us and helped with decorations that had fallen, set up the music and were so so friendly. During the day they served the delicious food promptly, we're so chatty and friendly to all the guests, the bar staff were amazing, the bar was stocked brilliantly and had everything my guests wanted. We had our wedding here in September 2024! What an incredible, special, different but magical place. All our guests were blown away by the venue. The staff were super helpful - from dealing with all our requests leading up to the day and helping us set up the day before. The the staff and event manager couldn't of been more perfect, friendly and fun on the actual day. This place will always be very special to us! Cannot recommend it enough.

I sincerely enjoyed photographing a wedding at Wilderness in the summer of 2023. The team at Wilderness were incredibly friendly & helpful - I honestly couldn't fault them. The day ran superbly which is all a fellow wedding supplier could hope for! The venue's team were supportive, attentive and well-informed about the couple's plans/expectations which, ultimately, helped keep the day's events on track and everything running smoothly. Wilderness is a beautiful outdoor venue - perfect for couples looking for a wedding venue surrounded by trees, nature and woodland.

For lovers of the outdoors, this has to be one of the coolest Kent venues for a wedding! Being a wedding photographer and lover of the outdoors myself, there's little better than having so much nature/space to tell such amazing wedding stories. Having all the guests walk through the meadows from the ceremony at the Boathouse to enjoying food under a serene woodland canopy is just such a joy to shoot! Also, keep an eye out for those amazing golden hours you get spoiled with in the meadow! Always adore coming back here to photograph!

The Night Yard was great choice for our wedding!!! The venue and staff were both excellent and accommodating. The venue has everything you need in it and makes it more intimate as everything is in one place but gives you room to move around. The staff, especially Kerry was excellent and gave us all the support we needed and more. I have left more of my views below – if you are considering getting married you should have a look. The wedding was of course great, but let me tell you about: THE VENUE Glasshouse - Really nice venue which matched everything we hoped for. It has a big glasshouse which is where our ceremony and wedding breakfast was held, it is large enough to cater for everyone and still have space for a DJ. Courtyard - It has a nice outside garden / courtyard where ceremonies can take place too, this is a big open space that latches on to the main glasshouse which means all your guests are in the same area (which means no wandering off guests). The kids loved the courtyard and played outside for lots of the time. The staff even put out games to entertain them (and adults too). Parking - lots of parking and you can leave your car overnight. Lockers – They also provide you with access to big lockers to store things in a couple days before which does help – we didn’t need to but it is useful to have. THE STAFF This was the other main reason we chose The Night Yard. On our first viewing of the venue Kerry was great and you can tell really loved her job, she explained everything and walked us around the venue and left no doubt in our mind that the staff really love to help. After we paid a deposit we harassed Kerry quite a lot and she was always happy to help, we went back to venue 2 or 3 times and she was very accommodating and supportive and gave lots of good advice. Honestly Kerry was great and she made everything so much easier. We would message or call her for queries regarding table clothes, and table layouts etc and she didn’t mind at all. The other staff were great too, Pip in particular who handled the drinks package was really nice and helped too. Unfortunately, Kerry wasn’t there to facilitate on the wedding day but we had Pip who performed well and made sure everything ran smoothly. All the other staff we came across were great too. They’re very accommodating, you can even bring pets. No problems at all with the staff. And Kerry went above and beyond. PACKAGES Food / Catering – our catering was actually really good and the food was really nice, but only bad side for me was the lack of choice for the caterers. The Night Yard have a selection from a few caterers to use which fits into your package but for us some wasn’t available on the day and we had a choice between only 2. It did work out well but I think they should have a larger choice (but then I suppose its what makes them good because they know their suppliers etc). External Caterers – you can bring your own external caterers in, but they will charge £500 to do this, however that option isn’t that bad if you have your own preferences as most caterers are very expensive (ours was!). OVERALL I 100% am happy with the venue and the service, the wedding was great and I had no issues or problems at all.

I can’t really find the words to describe how amazing our day was…but I’ll give it a good go! Pip and Kerry went above and beyond for us. It’s the most beautiful venue and all of our guests were stunned at how picturesque and perfect it all looked. It really is a hidden gem of a venue, made even better by the staff. Being able to use the beautiful, surrounding orchards for our couple shots has given us perfect photos that we will cherish forever. The range of caterers who we could choose from was amazing, and they did anything we wanted - we went for a Mexican themed meal! We made the day personal to us by decorating the tables ourselves and adding little touches throughout the day which made it even more special. We were able to bring in whichever suppliers we wanted, and we definitely made use of that! We also took advantage of The Night Yards prop hire which was so handy. If you’ve been lucky enough to find The Night Yard in your search for a wedding venue, don’t hesitate to book it - you really will have the most wonderful, surreal experience. What a blast we had at Marleybrook House on our wedding day! Not only it's a lovely venue but it is fun as well ! The team is amazing, they've been so helpful from the very start, listening and replying to all of our queries. The guest loved the venue and were so surprised and thrilled discovering the funfair! And loved that there's a studio to get ready there in the morning.

We had the best day ever at Marleybrook House! The venue is beautiful, so many spots for photos. The staff were amazing, so relaxing and kept everything running smoothy despite the change in ceremony area due to the bad weather! The funfair is amazing and our guests all said it was the best wedding they had been to. They guided us every step of the way and it couldn't have been any easier, we couldn't recommend them enough. Wow! The most extraordinary yet GORGEOUS venue in Kent! From the three beautiful ceremony areas they offer to the magical fun fair in the evening! It truly was the best day of our lives and it is all down to Marleybrook. Our planning experience and wedding day at Marleybrook house was perfect from start to finish. We cant thank Kris, Janie and the rest of the team enough for making our day pure bliss. We wouldn’t change a thing and anyone getting married at this wonderful venue are extremely lucky. The venue itself us absolutely beautiful 😍 we cannot thank you and your staff enough for helping is have a perfect start to our happily ever after. Came across your day events whilst browsing instagram for my baby shower. I wanted something more then the traditional balloon arch to fit in more with my ‘country’ theme. Your Day Events delivered ! After sending across my initial ideas and enquiry everything was discussed from wording to specific palette colours and costing . Set up and install was done by the team , had so many compliments on the day and the guests loved the photo ops! Recommend and would use definitely use again for another event!

I recently attended a wedding at Swarling Manor, and I have to say, it was an absolutely stunning venue. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the picturesque surroundings. The manor is set in beautiful, well maintained gardens that make for the perfect backdrop for photos. The ceremony was held outdoors, which was breathtaking with the natural beauty all around. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure all the guests were well taken care of, and the atmosphere was relaxed but still felt special. Inside the venue, the reception was equally impressive. The barn is just stunning, covered in fairy lights. As a guest, it was a fantastic experience, and I can only imagine how magical it must have been for the couple themselves. I’d highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a beautiful, intimate, and classy place to celebrate their big day.

We were very lucky when we found Swarling Manor when on the wedding venue search. Swarling Manor was the very first venues we toured and we couldn't get the place out of our head. It truly is a hidden gem. The staff were incredibly accommodating and flexible to all our personalised requests (particular signage, rum station, use of the cottage before and after the wedding, sparklers) and no ask was too big. Lois, Jess and Emily really made the process of planning the day easy and again, were responsive to my many questions and emails. Not only this but the food was absolutely incredible. All our guests absolutely raved about it. Kudos to the chef!! The service staff at the bar, serving the food and drinks were brilliant. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and you can even hear the sheep bleating in the background. The venue has a wonderful alternative if you need to be inside (like us when it rained during the ceremony), the barn is spacious and airy. The gardens are also wonderful with many photo opportunities. There is also a zipline which the guests LOVED. The gardens (and fantastic rose garden) are wonderfully kept and to mention you have full run of the place - guests can go wondering and it was peacefully quiet. The charm of Swarling is that they really provide an incredible experience and can really make your wedding personalised to you. They do not churn out weddings daily so they have the skills and time to really listen to what you want and need when it comes to your special day. I have thousands of words to write on how brilliant our big day was at Swarling and cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you Lois, Jess and Emily and all the service staff for the most wonderful day!

I can't recommend Swarling Manor enough! This venue is a wedding photographers dream! I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Izzie & Nathan's wedding at Swarling Manor. We got married at Swarling Manor in January of this year after making the bittersweet decision to bring our day forward by 6 months due to a terminal diagnosis within the family. Myself and my husband could not be more grateful to Lois for everything she did to ensure our day could still be as beautiful and as special as we had planned, despite huge changes to the plan at such short notice. Nothing was too much trouble for Lois, even the multiple last minute requests from a very stressed couple. Our day was nothing short of perfection, the food was lovely, the staff were so incredibly kind to us and the venue itself was perfect! The team did an amazing job from start to finish! We could not recommend Swarling Manor enough and we feel so incredibly grateful to have held our wedding here. Thank you so much!

Amazing service from Kent Events…. We contacted Jay back in January to organise my birthday party in July..he arranged marquee, toilets, 360 photo, catering (bbq-the burgers were insane), music, sax and bongos which were brilliant. Everyone had an amazing night.. they really took the stress out of organising a party… highly recommend them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was great for my team and I to visit Winters Barns recently for a fun filled wedding day. The barn is decorated in a great rustic style meaning additional decor isn't needed and really sits well for sustainability and simplicity. We loved exploring the outside spaces and enjoying the pockets of space around the venue. Look forward to heading back soon

We had the pleasure of getting married here mid May and we had the most perfect day! We cannot recommend Winters Barns enough. From the first time we viewed the venue we fell in love with it, all members of staff are so friendly and every little detail has been thought about. The layout of the venue is brilliant, giving everyone with different wants a space, plenty of seating outside, tables for dinner in their own room, sofas by the bar which is right next to the evening reception room meaning everything flowed brilliantly without people getting lost in the space. Through the whole process we were kept up to date and had regular communication. The team answers all my emails and questions promptly and a massive thank you goes to Sophie our wedding coordinator who was absolutely fantastic and faultless! Everything was so organised ahead of the day which was brilliant peace of mind for us. On the day everything ran so smoothly with nothing being too much for the team to do. We had several comments from guests about how brilliant the venue and staff were. They helped set up the space and ensured everything was packed away at the end of the night ready for us to take away from the store room the next day. The accommodation is lovely, as was breakfast the next day (to make perfect it would be nice if a fried breakfast could be served but this may be a caters decision). We honestly cannot recommend Winters Barns enough!

Where do I start with Winters Barns?! I absolutely love everything about this place! The barns themselves are rustic and perfect for any couple looking for a countryside wedding. The gardens and fields surrounding the venue make the perfect setting for couple time. Not forgetting all the lovely staff! They make the day run so smoothly and they are just the kindest people.
