Chic were amazing! We hired them for our wedding flowers and they delivered. The consultation was perfect as Tammy listened to our vision of what we wanted. We were also able to adapt our choices as we started to have better visions as we engaged with other suppliers and saw various inspiration. The flowers lasted ages after the wedding, so the enjoyment could continue after the big day. I absoultely loved my bouquet with all the special flowers and it was great to be able to have one of my favourite flowers in there even though it was only at the start of the season. Chic arranged the flowers for my wedding at Hayne House and created the most beautiful bouquets and archway. They listened to my many and ever changing ideas, helping to make it a reality and put it all together. They even created mistmatched bouquets in colours that were sentimental to each bridesmaid, yet tied in with my bouquet and including all the colours and flowers that I liked. Chic Weddings did the bouquets, buttonholes/lapels & venue styling for my daughter & new son-in-law's wedding on 20th July 2024. The top table flowers & hand tied bouquets on each table were gorgeous. Lots of comments about the bride & bridesmaids bouquets which were absolutely stunning. The tables had silver crackle vases & tea light holders on them, & we had a sheer curtain backdrop against the window behind the top table to frame it. I can highyly recommend Chic Weddings, the team are warm, friendly & very helpful; they reply quickly to calls & emails, the whole planning process was smooth & stress free. Wonderful, thank you!

It was a real pleasure to visit The Oak Barn again this time to perform for the newlyweds Abbie & Tom, the venue grounds are well kept and a beautiful setting for such a special occasion, the barn is a great space to host the evening party with a raised stage area for the bands to perform on, the staff are there to greet on arrival, friendly and helpful throughout and one of Kent’s finest wedding venues! We're so happy we chose The Oak Barn as our wedding venue! We got married here in August 2023. We fell in love with the venue from the first viewing. The setting is stunning, and the barn is modern but still has a rustic feel, which was perfect for us! The cottages on site are also beautiful. The team at The Oak Barn are a wonderful bunch - incredibly helpful and make you feel at ease throughout the whole process. I want to give a special thanks to Chrystelle, who was amazing in the run up to the wedding and on the day. She made sure everything was running smoothly and really kept us calm! It was one of the most magical days of our lives and we couldn't have wished for a more perfect venue.

We had our wedding in October 2024 at the Oak Barn Frame Farm and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue! From the moment we looked around the barn, we both knew it was the place for us. Having 3 barns meant we were able to keep our 50 guests entertained and still have beautiful spaces. We weren’t sure what to expect with dry-hire, but the barn is so beautiful it could be kept minimal if you’re on a budget, but being able to personalise it to how we wanted it made it extra special for us. The open fields, waterfall and sheep meant we got some amazing photos (from our photographer Matt Birchall) as well as the best memories. Chrystelle couldn’t have been more helpful, from her communication in planning, to the materials provided in the run up to the wedding, and her excellent organisation on the day meaning our wedding ran seamlessly and we didn’t have to worry about anything. The list of trusted suppliers was great too, and we used quite a few who were also great. The accommodation on site was an added bonus for us and family, and all of our friends and family commented on what a perfect venue we’d chosen. Being environmentally focused was also a huge bonus for us, as it really aligned with our values. Thank you to all at the Oak Barn for giving us the happiest day!

We had our team offsite at The Oak Barn and it was perfect from start to end - the venue, the suppliers recommended, all the staff! The location! It is a truly gorgeous place. Especially for us Londoners that need some county air!! Deana and Tim are the nicest people to work with ever, the communication before the event and during made everything so easy. I really appreciate how much effort they put in to make the day a success. I’ve had multiple people ask me about the venue after they’ve seen photographs and everyone is already asking if we can go back again next year!! Thank you so so so much, I was blown away by the entire day and so happy with how the event went.

Emma helped us with hiring waiting staff for our DIY wedding and after patiently discussing our needs, she provided us with an amazing team of four. Arriving on site whilst we were in our ceremony, they worked unsupervised to provide an excellent service to our guests who were full of compliments for them. We had brought some flowers back with us from the church and they were incredibly helpful in artfully displaying them around the marquee. No job was ever too much and they worked with complete professionalism. Thank you Emma and team.

Emma was absolutely incredible from start to finish! Nothing was ever too much trouble, she was always at the end of the phone for advice, had amazing ideas and was so patient with the various Gov. restrictions and date changes for our wedding. She made sure it was the happiest day of our lives and was exceptional throughout. This is the third time we have used Evoke Events for parties at our home and I would never turn to anyone else! Look no further for your party planner. Emma produced an unforgettable night to celebrate our daughter's 21st for 130 guests. Unanimous feedback was "the best party ever". Emma's experience and creativity really shows when it comes to both planning for and running an event like this one... and getting the most out of the budget. I feel that she has a connection to her audience and knows how to create the wow factor. On the day, the team worked so hard to make things go smoothly and we could enjoy ourselves, stress-free. Evoke helped me organise the disco, photo booth some drapes and extra lights for the venue. Emma got everything perfectly timed so each part was installed at a set time on the day so it was minimally disruptive to the wedding party, the draps add that extra special touch to the room, the mirror photo booth was a major and DJ was spot on. All in all Evoke events added those finishing touches to what was a memorable special occasion. Highly recommended and when my other daughter gets married I will use Evoke events again. Thanks Emma💕

I want to say thank you for the wonderful wedding planning course. The course was incredibly informative and practical, and I feel I’ve learned so much! I appreciated how hands-on it was, allowing us to practice what ‘we learned. The day wedding coordination was particularly amazing as it gave me a taste of what it’s like to work on a real wedding. It was a fantastic opportunity to see everything come together and made me more excited about becoming a wedding planner. Pippa & Amber managed to create a supportive learning environment and were there to answer questions and offer guidance. I recently completed the 1:1 course in Wedding Planning & Business marketing. I was very impressed with how the course was structured. I was given 8 books which I read before the 1:1 session which I found to be incredibly detailed & informative. The 1:1 session was engaging and I really enjoyed Pippa's teaching style. I found Pippa to be very friendly, knowledgeable, and transparent about the wedding industry and how I could work to develop my business and succeed. I really appreciated the time Pippa took to help me work on my branding and develop a realistic business plan. I would definitely recommend the WPS and I feel confident to begin my journey as a wedding planner.

I attended the course in May 2023. It was fantastic! Pippa and her team are so knowledgeable and you learn so much. I can't recommend this course enough if you're serious about a career in weddings planning. I did so much research into courses and you won't find a more comprehensive, more enjoyable course.

What an incredible week spent on the Elite Course with the Wedding Planner School. As an aspiring wedding planner the course was just the thing I was looking for x1000. We were lucky enough to stay in the grounds of Leeds Castle for a week which was a magical experience whilst getting to know my course mates, who were all really supportive of one another. The daily classroom sessions (theory and practical) went into great detail and there was lots of opportunity for questions and discussion. In addition, the opportunity to work on a real wedding towards the end of the week was brilliant and gives you great insight as to what you can expect. All in all, the course was the perfect springboard for my next step towards becoming a wedding planner. Thanks to Pippa and Amber for everything you continue to put into it!

Was at Pembury fireworks display on Friday 3rd Nov. Shades Events provided the music to accompany the fireworks. Very good would highly recommend for any event.

Laura's support and assistance throughout the day and pre-wedding day communication was really great. She helped ensure that our suppliers were well-coordinated for setup and teardown. Despite the rain leading up to the big day, the sun came out and our wedding day was perfect. It was very special to be married in a venue that was beautiful as it is. We just had our wedding here. Laura and Sarah, and their team were all incredibly lovely, the dogs were very gentle and came to say hello. But they made sure we were all OK and helped loads with setting up etc. I cannot recommend this stunning venue enough!

My fiance and I had the most wonderful experience with Alice at the Mulberry showroom. We highly recommend going for the FREE(!) 2 hour session. During this we were guided through designing our table decor and viewing the huge variety of options for the rest of the wedding day. I just wanted to say a huge thank you for styling our wedding venue, it looked absolutely fantastic and made the already gorgeous venue look even better! You guys were a dream to work with and so helpful and kind throughout the whole wedding planning. Everything came together so well, it felt seamless! It was also so exciting turning up to the venue in the morning seeing it all ready, I felt like I had an exclusive sneak peek!! The showroom visits beforehand were also incredibly helpful to help us bring our vision to life and made picking and choosing everything a lot easier. It was also incredibly helpful having a sample of the napkins so we could take it to our other suppliers and match our colour scheme perfectly!

Mulberry provided the decor for our wedding in June this year at Highley Manor and we were absolutely blown away with how gorgeous the set up was and had multiple compliments from our guests saying how it looked like a fairytale. The team were amazing to work with throughout, so professional and responsive and full of amazing ideas. We really enjoyed our visits to the workshop, where they have so many items for inspiration it's like a cave of wonders! Thank you so much for all your help, would definitely recommend to anyone!

My Fiance and I had such an incredible experience at the Mulberry Events showroom. We went in for our free 2 hour session and was helped by the lovely Alice who was absolutely amazing! So helpful, knowledgeable and friendly and felt like we were in the best hands when making decisions about how our big day would look and feel. I ordered some food for my 30th birthday gathering, and was very pleased with the food. All our guests loved the fried rice and the puff puff was gone very quickly! We are looking to order regular meals as well in the near future, as we’re very happy with the service & food.

Was looking for a marquee last minute due to the weather change this weekend! They saved my sisters bridal shower! Will definitely use them again !!

Professional service right from start to finish. The EMW team kept in constant communication with me in the lead up to my event and presented the various options in which I could personalise my event. They took care of everything from the catering, to dj hire to set-up and decorations. In the end, I was surprised at how well the event turned out and it exceeded my expectations. My guests were able to testify to this. For this I am most grateful to the EMV team for all they have done!

Working with the lovely Charlotte is always a great and stress free. She is organised and takes anything in her stride. I have worked with Charlotte on a number of occasions and always look forward to one of her weddings.

I don’t even know where to start in saying thank you to Charlotte and her team for helping us on our wedding day. From start to finish, Charlotte made sure every single detail was checked and looked after. Throughout the whole build up, she was reassuring and positive - putting us totally at ease. On the day, she ensured everything was set up to the highest quality and that everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. There is no way we could of had our day run without a glitch without Charlotte and her team! I cannot thank her or recommend highly enough!

Where do I begin?! Charlotte and Katie were amazing from the day we met them! Throughout the planning process they were on hand to answer any questions, gave advice on ideas and provided us with recommendations of suppliers (which we used and loved!). They shared our enthusiasm for the day, complimented each other with the knowledge, skills and expertise they both brought and were two amazing ladies who we felt we could completely trust with the planning and running of our special day. They were brilliant setting up our venue the day before and morning of the wedding (and packing up at the end of the night too!), were busy liaising with suppliers, setting up and dressing areas and were a genuine friend to the bride during stressful moments! During the day, Charlotte and Katie did not stop! They had planned the day perfectly and even with the unpredictable British weather (heavy rain in August!!) the changes they made to the running of the day seemed effortless and unfazed them. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect, so much so that I wouldn’t even know where to begin to list everything! They both really understood the vision we had for the day, were honest with what would and wouldn’t work and gave us ideas we would have never thought of. Charlotte and Katie were both professional and a friend at the same time. We are so grateful and felt very lucky to have them be a part of our special day. There is not one thing we would change about our day and so much of that is down to these superhuman ladies!

The hardest thing about this review will be keeping it short. We cannot say enough about Charlotte and Katie. Their enthusiasm was there right from the start, from the very first meeting. They finished our thoughts and sentences and we had an immediate reassurance that we were in capable hands. We are very detailed orientated, we had done most of the planning ourselves before we brought Charlotte and Katie on board and that’s probably our biggest regret, not finding them sooner and bringing them on board earlier. Their experience, attention to detail and organisational skills were self-evident and they asked about details that no one else had thought of except us. Other than us (the bide and groom) they were the only people to have EVERY single detail of the big day (and remember them). We knew we could completely trust them to manage the set up and running of our special day. They understood our whole vision and the part that every supplier played in our day. We can honestly say that we had brilliant suppliers, but there were so many jobs that fell outside of the venue/ florist/ stylist etc that without Black Sheep, those jobs wouldn’t have got done and our day wouldn’t have been as special as it was. The day before the wedding, we realised that there were DIY jobs that we weren’t going to get done, so we asked the girls if they could do them and they agreed without hesitation. We felt guilty at the amount we asked them to do, but they really took it all in their stride, they were completely unfazed. No idea how they did it all in the time. They did not stop working from the day before our wedding, all the way through our wedding, right through to every bag, crate, box and fairly light being packed up. They even kept the staff at the venue on their toes, prompting them to clear plates. No job was ever too big or too small for Charlotte and Katie. They were always there when they were needed and they made it look effortless, but we know it absolutely wasn’t. The wedding industry can be greedy and grasping, but Katie and Charlotte give everything they’ve got and then a bit more. They were determined to make our day as stress free and perfect as possible for us. They went above and beyond what we expected, even our guests have commented on how much they did throughout the day. Katie & Charlotte won’t let you down, the relationship between them is special and they are a formidable team. Nothing we can say in any review will express our gratitude for all they did for us, we are so sad that we don’t get to do the wedding planning over again, except this time with Black Sheep involved from the beginning.
