We got married at Riverhill in 2019 and would still choose it as our wedding venue. It is the perfect place for a couple who love the outdoors and want complete control of their special day. We got married in the walled garden before heading to the old tennis courts where we had erected a marquee for the wedding breakfast and celebrations. The whole team at Riverhill are wonderful to work with and we love being able to return every year and enjoy the beautiful gardens. Thanks to everyone at Riverhill for making our day so special!

We were lucky enough to have our Wedding reception at Riverhill Garden in May 22. We had the best day ever- Kate was such a great help through the process from in advising us and helping us and ensuring everything ran smoothly. The setting was beautiful having drinks and canapés on the top terrace, we had amazing photos throughout the gardens and everyone loved the venue. We are so grateful for everything and we look forward to enjoying the gardens on wedding anniversaries to come!

Riverhill is an absolutely marvellous place for a wedding reception. We were looking for a blank canvas to set up a village fete afternoon and a marquee, and the tennis lawn was the perfect spot for this. Kate and her team could not have been more accommodating of our requests and as a consequence we got everything we wanted and more! Several of our guests said that ours was the best wedding they'd ever been to, and Riverhill played a very large part in that. Thank you!

Riverhill is magical. The first time we visited we fell in love with this wonderful site, the gardens and woodlands are beautiful. All year around there is something new to be discovered. It's even more special if you read about the history of Riverhill and the love and work the family and the RIverhill team put into it before opening it to the public. When we found out they hosted weddings here we stopped searching for a venue, this was it! We discovered they only hosted 8 weddings a year, making this venue very exclusive for a wedding and so it was fate when the date we wanted was only one of two remaining! Kate, Ruth and the team were wonderful. I cannot thank them enough. They made our wedding run smoothly, giving us the most wonderful day. We were allowed to go to the venue at various points on the lead up to our wedding with caterers, our florist, etc. and my bunch of bridesmaids to practice walking through the gardens to the breathtaking Himalayan Hut where we said our vows. It was reassuring to know as well that if it rained on the day, Kate plans a back up in the form of the Garden Room - they got you covered! Riverhill have an extensive list of approved suppliers which was really helpful in planning what we needed. Kate also had some amazing advice about how to make the venue our own for our big day. Each couple really can make their wedding unique. On the day of our wedding, Kate and Ruth were absolute angels. They ensured everything was perfect for us, and Kate even took my bag up to the hut for me so I didn't have to carry it up the aisle. We love visiting Riverhill even more now that it is extra special for us. We can't wait to return for a picnic on our anniversary!

We hired a church hall for an 18th, I was so fortunate to find Party Doctors. Brad was super helpful, engaged and supportive throughout the entire process. The lighting, DJ, draping of the hall - fantastic!! The guys were very polite & professional and worked throughout the evening on a tricky timescale…they were completely packed up on time. Well organised and very competent. Highly recommend this company.

Raj, Dom and everyone at Party Doctors did an incredible job, working around the clock to make sure our dream wedding happened just the way we wanted. From marquee to chairs to lighting, everything was meticulously planned and executed to perfection. We used Party Doctors to help us with a joint 18th birthday party for our daughter and her two friends. They were fantastic. From the first enquiry to the event itself they were honest, helpful, accommodating, trustworthy, professional and reliable. We had 250 guests of varying ages and Party Doctors literally created a night club in our garden. Everything from the marquee, indoor and outdoor lighting, DJ, bar, bar staff, food, toilets and security they arranged for us which took away the stress and allowed us to really enjoy the evening with our guests. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend them - they honestly are all a pleasure to work with and know how to throw an unforgettable party !

Emma helped us with hiring waiting staff for our DIY wedding and after patiently discussing our needs, she provided us with an amazing team of four. Arriving on site whilst we were in our ceremony, they worked unsupervised to provide an excellent service to our guests who were full of compliments for them. We had brought some flowers back with us from the church and they were incredibly helpful in artfully displaying them around the marquee. No job was ever too much and they worked with complete professionalism. Thank you Emma and team.

Emma was absolutely incredible from start to finish! Nothing was ever too much trouble, she was always at the end of the phone for advice, had amazing ideas and was so patient with the various Gov. restrictions and date changes for our wedding. She made sure it was the happiest day of our lives and was exceptional throughout. This is the third time we have used Evoke Events for parties at our home and I would never turn to anyone else! Evoke helped me organise the disco, photo booth some drapes and extra lights for the venue. Emma got everything perfectly timed so each part was installed at a set time on the day so it was minimally disruptive to the wedding party, the draps add that extra special touch to the room, the mirror photo booth was a major and DJ was spot on. All in all Evoke events added those finishing touches to what was a memorable special occasion. Highly recommended and when my other daughter gets married I will use Evoke events again. Thanks Emma💕

They are amazing!! I want to say a huge thank you to Pippa and the entire wedding planning team!! Our wedding day would not have gone HALF as smooth as it did without the amazing team for organising everything and being so helpful the whole way through! We wouldn’t have had the incredible day we did have without their help, I can’t begin to describe how amazing you all were. I want to say thank you for the wonderful wedding planning course. The course was incredibly informative and practical, and I feel I’ve learned so much! I appreciated how hands-on it was, allowing us to practice what ‘we learned. The day wedding coordination was particularly amazing as it gave me a taste of what it’s like to work on a real wedding. It was a fantastic opportunity to see everything come together and made me more excited about becoming a wedding planner. Pippa & Amber managed to create a supportive learning environment and were there to answer questions and offer guidance. What an incredible week spent on the Elite Course with the Wedding Planner School. As an aspiring wedding planner the course was just the thing I was looking for x1000. We were lucky enough to stay in the grounds of Leeds Castle for a week which was a magical experience whilst getting to know my course mates, who were all really supportive of one another. The daily classroom sessions (theory and practical) went into great detail and there was lots of opportunity for questions and discussion. In addition, the opportunity to work on a real wedding towards the end of the week was brilliant and gives you great insight as to what you can expect. All in all, the course was the perfect springboard for my next step towards becoming a wedding planner. Thanks to Pippa and Amber for everything you continue to put into it!

I attended the course in May 2023. It was fantastic! Pippa and her team are so knowledgeable and you learn so much. I can't recommend this course enough if you're serious about a career in weddings planning. I did so much research into courses and you won't find a more comprehensive, more enjoyable course.

We needed some furniture hire for a birthday party and we are so pleased to have find Daniel’s company. The service him and his team provided is 5*. Before placing the order, we needed reassurance that what we needed would fit as we planning to use our garden and the fact that Daniel can come out (at a small fee) to come measure and provide his expertise was convenient. It ensured that what we needed for the party would fit and that we had options for anything alternative. The delivery, installation and the removal were seamless. Since they provided a tracking link with a chat functionality, it helps planning your day around the delivery. We had a great party with loads of compliments on the set up. Would recommend Daniel Lay Events anytime.

From start to finish Daniel Lay and his team were superb. Informative and patient, they worked with us to help order exactly what we needed for our party. The LED cube furniture and light up numbers were of excellent quality and looked fantastic on the night of the party. The delivery and collection tracking app is an excellent help to make sure you are home on the day too. We would highly recommend Daniel Lay Events.

We used the Happy Grazing Company for my daughter's baptism celebration. I had previously heard great things about the grazing tables and I was not disappointed ! Tandem were absolutely fantastic caterers and went above and beyond for our marquee wedding. From initial meetings and tastings, to site visits and preparations, to the actual day of the event, Katie, Carl, Carolyn and the wider team were absolutely amazing, always so friendly and accommodating, even with difficult dietary requirements / meal preferences. The day of our wedding was absolutely amazing, so much in part due to their running of the canapés and drinks reception, absolutely delicious food and drinks service. Even with changes in timings due to weather, unexpected changes to guests seating and other difficulties, they took everything in their stride and I was blissfully unaware of any drama! So many of my guests have said the food is some of the best they've ever had at a wedding, and I whole-heartedly agree. Tandem and their team really made our wedding incredible and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a caterer who will make their event perfect. We can't thank you enough!

Tandem catered for our wedding a couple of weeks ago and the whole experience was brilliant. They were so helpful and were in constant contact with us in the lead up to our wedding. Brilliant caterers for functions and events. We have loved Carl’s food for over 10 years now. They have catered for us at several birthdays and family events and we have been to many of their pop up fine dining events. The food and service is always outstanding and never fails to impress. From our initial meeting right through to our wedding day, Tandem were fantastic! Our tasting was a wonderful experience and we were delighted to find that Carl, the chef, was happy to be so flexible in offer alternative but equally delicious dishes for our guests with dietary restrictions. Both Carolyn and Katie were very thorough in response to any further questions we had and we very accommodating when we had to make some last minute changes. On our wedding day the food and service provided by Tandem were outstanding. Unbeknownst to us, there had been a power cut at our venue that morning, so Carl and his team had needed to work extra hard to get our canapés out on time. Luckily, the power came back on during our reception drinks so our wedding breakfast was not affected but the whole team was utterly professional throughout the day and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Thank you very much to Katie, Carolyn, Carl and the whole Tandem team for making our wedding day truly special.

Chic were amazing! We hired them for our wedding flowers and they delivered. The consultation was perfect as Tammy listened to our vision of what we wanted. We were also able to adapt our choices as we started to have better visions as we engaged with other suppliers and saw various inspiration. The flowers lasted ages after the wedding, so the enjoyment could continue after the big day. I absoultely loved my bouquet with all the special flowers and it was great to be able to have one of my favourite flowers in there even though it was only at the start of the season. Chic arranged the flowers for my wedding at Hayne House and created the most beautiful bouquets and archway. They listened to my many and ever changing ideas, helping to make it a reality and put it all together. They even created mistmatched bouquets in colours that were sentimental to each bridesmaid, yet tied in with my bouquet and including all the colours and flowers that I liked. Chic Weddings did the bouquets, buttonholes/lapels & venue styling for my daughter & new son-in-law's wedding on 20th July 2024. The top table flowers & hand tied bouquets on each table were gorgeous. Lots of comments about the bride & bridesmaids bouquets which were absolutely stunning. The tables had silver crackle vases & tea light holders on them, & we had a sheer curtain backdrop against the window behind the top table to frame it. I can highyly recommend Chic Weddings, the team are warm, friendly & very helpful; they reply quickly to calls & emails, the whole planning process was smooth & stress free. Wonderful, thank you!

Words really can't explain how fantastic the service from Kayleigh was throughout the process in both the preparations for, and the day of, our wedding. Kayleigh has an amazing ability to make you feel like the only couple she is working for through the whole experience. She is fantastic at listening to the "vision", sharing ideas and advice, and executing to perfection. Her responsiveness, above all else, was so helpful and reassuring when handling lots of suppliers - it really does make the difference. My only regret is that I don't have another event to use her for! If i could give 6 stars I would.

Well what can we say? Kayleigh at Pretty Events was AMAZING! We can't thank her enough for the effort she put in to making the décor at our wedding at Hall Place just perfect. From the moment we met Kayleigh at her showroom we knew we had met someone who understood us and knew the look we were aiming for and she so delivered on everything. The chair coverings, lanterns and flowers in the room where we got married looked just as we imagined/hoped it would look and the main hall for our reception was just WOW, so much so that it actually left us speechless (which is a miracle in itself as Kayleigh will confirm as we do like to talk!). Nothing was ever too much trouble for Kayleigh and for that we will always be so grateful as our day was just perfect. If we ever need any décor for a party or future event then we will definitely be calling on Kayleigh as it will be like getting in touch with a friend. We really didn’t have much of a clue about event dressing so Kayleigh met us at the wedding venue (The Vines) and gave us some great ideas and inspiration.
