My husband and I got married 1st August 2024 and the day was truly unforgettable. We loved all of the pictures online on their website and couldn’t wait to book a viewing as soon as possible. As soon as we got to wilderness we fell in love with the venue and knew this was the one for us! The beautiful countryside setting was exactly what we were looking for. All of the staff were so helpful throughout the entire planning process, everyone is so friendly! Any questions we had they answered quickly and efficiently either via a quick phone call or email and made the whole process as easy and enjoyable as it could have been. Excel spread sheets are also sent to you to help plan everything as much as you like along with recommendations of other suppliers. We had a final planning meeting to finalise all the details as well as the day before our wedding we were able to go and set up everything and get ready with plenty of time. Once again the staff were all there the day before to help with anything we needed and to go over any final questions and details which made us feel so relaxed and ready for the big day! Our wedding day ran without fault and this is all due to the impeccable team all trying their best to make your day run smoothly. We cannot thank everyone at wilderness weddings enough for making our wedding day the best as it could have been and we will remember and treasure the beautiful memories forever. We had our wedding here in September 2024! What an incredible, special, different but magical place. All our guests were blown away by the venue. The staff were super helpful - from dealing with all our requests leading up to the day and helping us set up the day before. The the staff and event manager couldn't of been more perfect, friendly and fun on the actual day. This place will always be very special to us! Cannot recommend it enough.

Our dreams came true. What a fabulous venue with the most lovely, accommodating team working on site. Our family and friends had the most special day and so did we. Was everything and more!! For lovers of the outdoors, this has to be one of the coolest Kent venues for a wedding! Being a wedding photographer and lover of the outdoors myself, there's little better than having so much nature/space to tell such amazing wedding stories. Having all the guests walk through the meadows from the ceremony at the Boathouse to enjoying food under a serene woodland canopy is just such a joy to shoot! Also, keep an eye out for those amazing golden hours you get spoiled with in the meadow! Always adore coming back here to photograph!

It was great for my team and I to visit Winters Barns recently for a fun filled wedding day. The barn is decorated in a great rustic style meaning additional decor isn't needed and really sits well for sustainability and simplicity. We loved exploring the outside spaces and enjoying the pockets of space around the venue. Look forward to heading back soon

We had the pleasure of getting married here mid May and we had the most perfect day! We cannot recommend Winters Barns enough. From the first time we viewed the venue we fell in love with it, all members of staff are so friendly and every little detail has been thought about. The layout of the venue is brilliant, giving everyone with different wants a space, plenty of seating outside, tables for dinner in their own room, sofas by the bar which is right next to the evening reception room meaning everything flowed brilliantly without people getting lost in the space. Through the whole process we were kept up to date and had regular communication. The team answers all my emails and questions promptly and a massive thank you goes to Sophie our wedding coordinator who was absolutely fantastic and faultless! Everything was so organised ahead of the day which was brilliant peace of mind for us. On the day everything ran so smoothly with nothing being too much for the team to do. We had several comments from guests about how brilliant the venue and staff were. They helped set up the space and ensured everything was packed away at the end of the night ready for us to take away from the store room the next day. The accommodation is lovely, as was breakfast the next day (to make perfect it would be nice if a fried breakfast could be served but this may be a caters decision). We honestly cannot recommend Winters Barns enough!

Went to my nieces wedding. The setting was beautiful. Everything in one place the ceremony, which, luckily, the weather was kind to us, and they could exchange their vows outside. The 3 couse wedding breakfast was tasty, the evening fish and chips or burger and chips was a welcomed alternative to a buffet. The service and attention to detail spot on. Would recommend 👌

My wedding was wonderful and better than we could have imagined. Sally our wedding coordinator did everything in her power to ensure we had everything we needed and wanted. All of the team, admin, bar staff, cleaners, gardeners, coordinators, literally everyone in the team are awesome and I cannot praise them enough. Thank you so much for all you did for us! Amazing service from Kent Events…. We contacted Jay back in January to organise my birthday party in July..he arranged marquee, toilets, 360 photo, catering (bbq-the burgers were insane), music, sax and bongos which were brilliant. Everyone had an amazing night.. they really took the stress out of organising a party… highly recommend them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I can’t really find the words to describe how amazing our day was…but I’ll give it a good go! Pip and Kerry went above and beyond for us. It’s the most beautiful venue and all of our guests were stunned at how picturesque and perfect it all looked. It really is a hidden gem of a venue, made even better by the staff. Being able to use the beautiful, surrounding orchards for our couple shots has given us perfect photos that we will cherish forever. The range of caterers who we could choose from was amazing, and they did anything we wanted - we went for a Mexican themed meal! We made the day personal to us by decorating the tables ourselves and adding little touches throughout the day which made it even more special. We were able to bring in whichever suppliers we wanted, and we definitely made use of that! We also took advantage of The Night Yards prop hire which was so handy. If you’ve been lucky enough to find The Night Yard in your search for a wedding venue, don’t hesitate to book it - you really will have the most wonderful, surreal experience. We chose The Night Yard for our wedding reception on the 18th of August 2023, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The serene garden and captivating glasshouse provided a dreamy setting that had our guests in awe. A massive thank you to Pip, Verity, and Kerry. Fabulous and amazing wedding, such fun, very relaxed and the day was 100% how we wanted it. Initially planned for June 2020 however for reasons we all know, the date had to be moved. Nothing was too much trouble for Kirsty, she ooze's weddings and making sure you get everything you want out of your day! She truly is a delight, chilled and very funny! Moving the the date to September 2020 was an easy transition with Kirsty's help, ensuring that we had the most amazing day in the most spectacular venue. Would love to use your services again, however my husbands pretty fab as well so unfortunately I won’t be needing you again!! Charlotte was just incredible from start to finish helping us on our wedding day. In the build up to the ‘big day’ she provided us with so many helpful tips that we hadn’t yet thought of and dealt with all our suppliers so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. On our actual day Charlotte was a superstar and ensured we could relax in full confidence not worrying about a thing. Any hiccups were sorted within moments and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer person to run our day. Charlotte is not only a professional, keeping everyone and everything running smoothly, but a lovely person who was a joy to have with us on the day. We could not have had our day without her support. Everyone needs a Charlotte for their wedding! Thank you again for helping to make it so special for us.

I don’t even know where to start in saying thank you to Charlotte and her team for helping us on our wedding day. From start to finish, Charlotte made sure every single detail was checked and looked after. Throughout the whole build up, she was reassuring and positive - putting us totally at ease. On the day, she ensured everything was set up to the highest quality and that everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. There is no way we could of had our day run without a glitch without Charlotte and her team! I cannot thank her or recommend highly enough!

The hardest thing about this review will be keeping it short. We cannot say enough about Charlotte and Katie. Their enthusiasm was there right from the start, from the very first meeting. They finished our thoughts and sentences and we had an immediate reassurance that we were in capable hands. We are very detailed orientated, we had done most of the planning ourselves before we brought Charlotte and Katie on board and that’s probably our biggest regret, not finding them sooner and bringing them on board earlier. Their experience, attention to detail and organisational skills were self-evident and they asked about details that no one else had thought of except us. Other than us (the bide and groom) they were the only people to have EVERY single detail of the big day (and remember them). We knew we could completely trust them to manage the set up and running of our special day. They understood our whole vision and the part that every supplier played in our day. We can honestly say that we had brilliant suppliers, but there were so many jobs that fell outside of the venue/ florist/ stylist etc that without Black Sheep, those jobs wouldn’t have got done and our day wouldn’t have been as special as it was. The day before the wedding, we realised that there were DIY jobs that we weren’t going to get done, so we asked the girls if they could do them and they agreed without hesitation. We felt guilty at the amount we asked them to do, but they really took it all in their stride, they were completely unfazed. No idea how they did it all in the time. They did not stop working from the day before our wedding, all the way through our wedding, right through to every bag, crate, box and fairly light being packed up. They even kept the staff at the venue on their toes, prompting them to clear plates. No job was ever too big or too small for Charlotte and Katie. They were always there when they were needed and they made it look effortless, but we know it absolutely wasn’t. The wedding industry can be greedy and grasping, but Katie and Charlotte give everything they’ve got and then a bit more. They were determined to make our day as stress free and perfect as possible for us. They went above and beyond what we expected, even our guests have commented on how much they did throughout the day. Katie & Charlotte won’t let you down, the relationship between them is special and they are a formidable team. Nothing we can say in any review will express our gratitude for all they did for us, we are so sad that we don’t get to do the wedding planning over again, except this time with Black Sheep involved from the beginning.

Where do I begin?! Charlotte and Katie were amazing from the day we met them! Throughout the planning process they were on hand to answer any questions, gave advice on ideas and provided us with recommendations of suppliers (which we used and loved!). They shared our enthusiasm for the day, complimented each other with the knowledge, skills and expertise they both brought and were two amazing ladies who we felt we could completely trust with the planning and running of our special day. They were brilliant setting up our venue the day before and morning of the wedding (and packing up at the end of the night too!), were busy liaising with suppliers, setting up and dressing areas and were a genuine friend to the bride during stressful moments! During the day, Charlotte and Katie did not stop! They had planned the day perfectly and even with the unpredictable British weather (heavy rain in August!!) the changes they made to the running of the day seemed effortless and unfazed them. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect, so much so that I wouldn’t even know where to begin to list everything! They both really understood the vision we had for the day, were honest with what would and wouldn’t work and gave us ideas we would have never thought of. Charlotte and Katie were both professional and a friend at the same time. We are so grateful and felt very lucky to have them be a part of our special day. There is not one thing we would change about our day and so much of that is down to these superhuman ladies!
