Matt recently came to fix a lock at my home. This was the first time we met, and I would recommend his services, as he was really personable, friendly and efficient and showed great initiative (grabbed lock prior to attendance) and was flexible in working around my needs, given I'm a working parent, which was greatly appreciated.

I hired Matt to install new garden fence panels for more privacy. Matt was very professional at all times, punctual and respected the property. I am very pleased with the result and would both hire his services again, and recommend him to others.

I contacted Matt at the weekend as rain was coming through our front door causing puddles in the hallway due to an issue with the rain deflector. Matt responded and answered many questions by text even though it was the weekend and he advised on what to do. Unfortunately we couldn’t resolve the issue so Matt came out a couple of days later to replace it for us. He was polite and professional. I am very pleased with the job.

I cannot recommend Andy at A&K properties too highly. He carried out a Kitchen refurbishment for us involving resiting cabinets and installing a water softener. He carried out the work to a very high standard, speedily and with minimal disruption. No easy task. Very friendly and reasonable cost.

I have had the pleasure of using Arvids on a couple of occasions. From the first call to the last nail banged in, I am kept informed and in control. The final costs have never gone over the original quote and were very competitive. I have had a custom made under stairs storage aera designed and fitted. I have also had a balcony unit stripped back and reconditioned. He has informed me that he not only does carpentry, but a wide range of construction jobs including flooring. I will certainly be using him again. Trustworthy tradesman don't appear that often, so when you find one, you keep hold of them.

Arvids was the first to respond to my request to have oak engineered flooring fitted. He worked patiently to listen to the areas I wanted and was flexible around adapting a quotation to suit my needs, with honest, reasonable costing. He did a lovely job and what struck me was how thorough and careful he is as he works. I am extremely pleased with the quality and results and highly recommend Whitstable Carpentry.
