Matt recently came to fix a lock at my home. This was the first time we met, and I would recommend his services, as he was really personable, friendly and efficient and showed great initiative (grabbed lock prior to attendance) and was flexible in working around my needs, given I'm a working parent, which was greatly appreciated.

Really impressed with the service Matt provided. Among other tasks, he constructed and hung cabinets, cut and fitted a shelf, and organised the garage. Everything was completed to a high standard in just one day. Highly recommend and would definitely use his services again!

I contacted Matt at the weekend as rain was coming through our front door causing puddles in the hallway due to an issue with the rain deflector. Matt responded and answered many questions by text even though it was the weekend and he advised on what to do. Unfortunately we couldn’t resolve the issue so Matt came out a couple of days later to replace it for us. He was polite and professional. I am very pleased with the job.

I contacted Matt on Saturday for a quote to hang a heavy mirror. Quote received quickly and job completed by Monday afternoon. Fast, efficient service and really friendly. Would highly recommend and will defo use again for other jobs.

He completed about 10 household DIY tasks at a very high standard. He came fully equipped and had some great suggestions for how to fix things up in a tidy way. I called in desperation to get my new curtains up for Christmas. I tried and failed! I explained my need and was given an appointment for today. Amandeep came out and in no time at all my curtains are up. He even hoovered up some dust from the drilling! I am impressed and definitely recommend him and will use again. Price was realistic. Happy to have found him. Now looking at other things I need doing!!

I have used Lee a few times to put up cupboards, replace guttering, replace roof tiles and clean a roof of moss. He is easy to communicate with, is polite and friendly, will suggest different options when discussing a job and his pricing is very fair. Finally, and most importantly, Lee is very professional and always does a good job.

Lee was incredibly professional and completed the work to a very high standard. In addition to the agreed job, he was happy to undertake extra tasks and left our house much tidier than when he arrived! Would strongly recommend and intend to book him in again soon.

Handyman Hicks has helped us with many maintenance, DIY and home improvements over the last 3 years including laying loft insulation, painting several rooms, repairing fencing, countless fixtures including curtain rails and bathroom fixtures, replacing door handles, replacing bathroom and kitchen sealant, jet washing paving, conservatory roof cleaning, roof tile cleaning and gutter clearing. Lee is responsive, reliable and passionate about his work and business. I always rebook him soon after completion to ensure I get into his diary for the next project/ maintenance that will be needed!

I have known Lee for a while now after contacting him to replace a roof tile. He took the trouble to do this small job where others had let me down. Lee has continued to do a variety of other work for us both inside and outside of our house/garden and work for my parents too. Everything is completed to an excellent standard. Lee takes enormous pride in his work, is honest, reliable and professional. He is knowledgeable about what products to use for the best results. Stuart decorated our house in Whitstable from top to bottom - walls, ceilings and all woodwork. He did an absolutely brilliant job, was extremely neat and meticulous, and kept us up to date on progress with regular comms and pics. Highly recommended!

We have been using Jerzy for over 2 years now for all kinds of works, inside and outside and we have been very happy with everything he and his son have done for us. I wanted decking with a curve - "No Problem", the result is stunning. Jerzy has replaced floors, built a wall, tiled my kitchen floor, put in second hand patio doors and made them fit, rebuilt large broken gates, fixed guttering, put up trellis and garden wall planters, custom made 30s style shelving, fixed drainage and guttering problems and lots of high quality sanding of floors and doors, painting and decorating. Nat did an amazing job with our fixtures, fittings, curtains, light switches. He fixed our bathroom cupboard, put up mirrors and is just an all rounder great person. He's very professional, punctual and efficient. He will be our go to for these types of jobs and we would highly recommend him!!

Natt responded immediately to my request advertised and was able to find a date/Time which worked for me Matt was very patient and a clear expert at what he does! I have been struggling to put the shelves up myself and was quite anxious being on plasterboard and in the bathroom! However, Nat was confident and calm throughout and even allowed me to sit and learn which was an added bonus! I have already asked him for 2 further quotes following this job, saving his contact as my go to person and highly recommending to others!

Amazing service from the company. I was after a pergola for the garden and not quite sure what to get. From the initial quote to all the work being undertaken. I was always updated and advised. Dave and co did an amazing job building the pergola. It's looks amazing, and already have a few people jealous of it. The attention to detail and care taken over the job was second to none. A big thank you to Beach Buoy Builders for doing an incredible job on fixing my very dodgy summerhouse roof. It was in a bad way where some rotted boards were soon uncovered once the old felt shingles were removed. David and Stewart added 10 extra plywood boards which did change the original spec of the job but this was no problem to them whatsoever. They worked tirelessly over two days to ensure my summerhouse roof was completely water tight and secure. They did make it totally water tight at the end of the first day and the second day was used to finish off the work as bad weather was looming. My summerhouse is quite old and it really needed this work done. After having some other companies not even get back to me I was quite hesitant when contacting them at first but I was pleasantly surprised when I had a very fast reply from Nicki in the head office who put me at ease instantly and arranged the initial viewing followed by the repair dates and invoicing. I highly recommend Beach Buoy Builders for any of your repair needs. They are extremely efficient, knowledgeable, reasonably priced and friendly.
