Great staff happy and friendly

Quiz night and it was packed. Well hosted and great atmosphere.

What a lovely, family owned Greek restaurant. From the outside it looks much smaller, but inside the restaurant, they have a lot of space. The food is fresh and homemade and it tastes really good. Once your in, you will also be entertained by , I believe, 3 generations of ladies, grandchild, mother and grandma, which definitly adds to the fun night we had. Whenever we are back in this area, we'll be back! Thank you very much!!

We went to the restaurant for lunch. 7 of us with 5 children. A lovely family runs business. People are very friendly. Food is delicious. Everyone is happy with their orders. Certainly recommend it

Had a lovely afternoon Attending a Christening celebration party . Venue was comfortable for a large gathering. The Buffett served a good variety of food and constantly re filled when empty. Staff were friendly, I can highly recommend this pub.

Great pub, great staff, great food and great punters! Spent three days in New Romney recently and the Cinque quickly became our go to pub. Talk about a warm, welcoming pub! Simply cannot fault the place. Don't miss out on their rustic chips either (much better than French fries). Cheapest pub in the hight street too! Cannot recommend this pub highly enough. Our annual visit to the Cinque Ports collided with a fantastic summer festival which included an upcoming band and our new favourites: mixed emotions! Incredible turn out for a really talented band. I can tell you now, this band will never forget this pub! Even when they’re performing at Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds!

Had a couple of drinks romney ale was fabulous! Lovely lady behind the bar and very pleasant locals. Top marks we will return

The pub is spotless from the minute you walk through the door. Beer is really well priced. Has beer garden, darts board and pool table all in good nick. They also show live sky sports

Full marks for our lunch today at The Coach House, celebrating a friend's birthday. We were a mixed group of diners, including two vegans and a vegetarian, and although this isn't a dedicated veggie menu, we each found a delicious and well-cooked choice from the pitta menu - two falafel and one halloumi, both served with salad and incredibly tasty seasoned chips. Our server was very attentive, and the chef came out personally to check that we were all happy and that the food was good. Very reasonably priced, and a decent drinks list. Thank you Coach House, we will be back soon! 🙂

My partner and I ate here as we wanted to grab a bit to eat whilst enjoying the sun and we were both stunned by the food. The chef has got his flavours absolutely nailed, everything tasted amazing and the dishes were the type that you’d expect at a high end restaurant. This being said, the prices were still very affordable and the portion sizes are generous - so much so that I walked in quite hungry and still couldn’t finish my plate. The only criticism I have is that we waited upwards of 20 minutes for our food, but I’m more than happy to look past this as it was very busy, the food was well worth the wait, and the staff were attentive and checked on us regularly. If you’re Kent based and haven’t checked this hidden gem out, please do!

Fabulous place for lunch! The Spartan burger is awesome! The millionaire biscoff cake is delicious, we were 6 hungry cyclists who left full up and happy! We will be coming back, super quick service too

Really lovely takeaway most seaside Chineses are not that good but we are impressed by this one. Only one thing make sure you check your order as we ordered beef in black bean sause and got chicken which was still nice.

Excellent food at a fair price. Even though they were busy, our order was ready in good time. What a treat. We love our Chinese food, and Go Sing didn't disappoint. Please support this little gem of a restaurant. It is so worth it.

Lovely service, delicious food at a fair price. Their Beef in Black Bean is delicious. I have had a number of orders from them before I gave this review and I can quite honestly say that their food quality and flavours are fantastic. Definitely worth giving them a try.

Lovely. It was a brillaint laugh. The staff are great fun, the rooms are good... mine was a haunted room... it was fun. 100% coming back for lydd club day next year.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Very comfortable. The kitchen was closed today but I will try the food at a later visit.

Went with a friend for Sunday lunch. Choice of four meats (yay they had lamb) to choose from, good selection of veg and as much gravy as you wished. Couldn't manage a dessert, too full. Will be back!

Not a luxury place but so pleasant and simple. The welcome is nice, the bedrooms are clean, the breakfast is really generous, but above all the people are so friendly. We really enjoyed the place for the price we paid. Special thanks to Royston ( the truck driver and his wife) we spent a nice evening with chatting about the world. Thank you to the lady at the counter who did her best to make us happy. I do recommend this true honest place.

A great fish and chips. Since taking over the quality is great with a good range of options available to suit most taste buds. The staff were friendly and it didn't take long to take the order and prepare the good. Our meals tasted nice and fresh. Good value for money too.

Had a great medium cod and chips yesterday. Take away only ! No sit in. After being out of the UK for many years, my first port of call was the local chippie. It did not disappoint. Great cod, nice batter, and nice thick chips. Thanks a lot for putting a smile on my face after missing the f&c for so long.

We were blown away by the size and quality of the food, they had a band playing called the golden wonders who were incredible!! We were also allowed to stay in the car park :) thank you ☺️

We were staying in the neighbourhood for a holiday and went here 3 days in a row. First day lunch, second day drinks and third Day for the Sunday Roast. Nice place, smells like a fireplace/smoked. Very cosy. Very nice employees (Charlie). The food was delicious. Big drinks. Not too expensive. Excellent service. A beautiful example of what pubs used to be in the best way - friendly staff, honest food, and decor that gave me a flashback to my childhood. This is the opposite from a gastropub. We came for Sunday lunch without a booking and they fitted us in. The food was tasty, was it the most amazing Sunday roast I’ve ever eaten? Maybe not (however the roast potatoes were simply amazing), but it was a decent, tasty carvery with good meat and staff who obviously cared about food and making their customers happy. Strongly recommended for the experience and atmosphere.

2022 Friendly local pub. No ale on draught but got some in bottles 2023 update, Ubu pure on tap, a solid 3.5 out of 5, high praise from me! Quiet this late in the season on a Thursday at 13:00h, the owner is friendly though and the kitchen is open nonetheless. Busier Thursday Friday and Saturday nights with special events such as Halloween fancy dress (see their Facebook page ;-) ). 2024 update, came for a wee drink with my Mum. Lovely jubbly.

Popped into this chip shop one lunch time as we were passing, we only had chips but they were fantastic, moving to the area very soon so this could become our local shop..

Food was cooked fresh and still hot by time I got back to my holiday home. Had battered jumbo sausage with regular chips. Amazing food and prices. Highly recommend

Ordered fish and chips here several times and always receive good, friendly service. Can often be quite busy however you’re never left waiting too long and food is fresh!

Probably one of the best fish and chips I’ve had. We bought four portions. All of the fish were of good size and the chips was just the right amount! Some places over do it with the chips. Fish tasted fresh and the chips were great and crispy! Batter on the fish was crunchy and not too much either! 2 minute walk from sandy beach so you can grab and go as well or sit there.
