Yesterday I attended yard and beyond for a friends 25th birthday, there was a large group 15 of us, but the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming, the service was great the staff were amazing especially the young male manger ( I didn’t catch his name) who was so lovely and went out of his way to help my sister find her ID. Will definitely go back again, loved it !

Great place, chilled out but fun. The food vendors are always really good and there’s a fair variety so usually something for everyone. The music is great too. The staff are really friendly - shout out to Saskia who was serving us. 👍

We have booked this restaurant for our baby shower event and all the foods were delicious and we got so many good reviews in the function . Each food had unique South Indian flavours with good aroma which was our expectation and success behind the beautiful event is mainly food which was well satisfied and we would definitely recommend their service for big events. Discovering Mugil South Indian Restaurant was like finding a culinary treasure in Birmingham. The Chicken Biryani was a fragrant delight, with perfectly spiced, tender chicken nestled among fluffy rice grains, striking a balance between aromatic and flavorful. The Chicken Kothu was a textural masterpiece, with layers of chopped parotta, chicken, and spices mingling in a delicious dance. And the Mushroom Manchurian? An explosion of umami, with juicy mushrooms coated in a savory, tangy sauce that had just the right kick. Each dish was a testament to authentic Indian cooking, masterfully prepared to evoke the essence of its origins. It’s a joy to find such authenticity and quality so far from India, a true testament to the skill and dedication of the chefs. Highly recommended for anyone craving a taste of Indian cuisine at its best!

Great quality food prepared at a very short notice for a Gathering we planned at home. The Chef is very accommodative on the needs of the client, he gave suggestions on the quantity. All my friends loved the feast served including the kids who enjoyed very well. Highly recommend Mughil Restaurant for traditional South Indian dishes that brings back the memory and taste of home food prepared by our moms and grandma. We are very impressed with the service, Chef was kind enough to send additional Dessert (Pineapple Kesari) and Yogurt rice along with the order as complements. Loved the care and support.....

Lobster risotto was packed full of flavour, deep intense colour, was a joy!! Spaghetti bolognese was top notch too!!! Truly a pleasant to spend an evening with family!!

The best Italian I have ever had!! Had the prawn ravoli and the flavours were mouth watering , unique and sensational. Will never go anywhere else now as it just won't compare. Prices very reasonable , service was great, staff friendly and lovely restaurant environment. I'm so grateful my friend introduced me to this place!

Easy to book. We found the staff really friendly, and the owner made us feel welcome straight away. The food tasted amazing and well presented. The lobster ravioli was delicious and the scallops were cooked to perfection! We will definitely visit again.

I can’t believe such a great restaurant is so tucked away, not spoken about and not busy every night it’s open! I highly highly recommend coming here, especially for the price! £35 for such high quality of food, 4 courses, is unheard of and well worth the visit. We’ve been meaning to come here a long time and it lived up to the expectations. The mains were by far the best part of of the meal, with the lamb dinner (of sorts) and mushroom risotto being the stars of the show. The jacket potato purée was divine btw! The starters were gorgeous too, but unfortunately the deserts didn’t quite hit the same bar. Despite this, the whole evening of food was thoroughly enjoyed, with healthy portions, good service and a nice atmosphere, although a tad quiet. With a large range of drinks options, and an comfortable interior easy on the eye, there’s really no reason you shouldn’t come! Great for larger groups and little celebrations :)

This is the hidden gem of Walsall. The food is beautiful and the service is great. We had a wedding reception here and I have to say WOW!!! We had a 5 course fine dining sit down menu, every dish was perfectly presented and tasted fabulous, additionally the staff at the Littleton, they are simply terrific. They were immensely patient with all our requests and treated us with the greatest respect THANK YOU!!! I would definitely be coming back!

Was a great experience. Great food with generous portions, all the staff are friendly and attentive. If you are looking for something different i would definitely recommend this as well with their fusion dishes, although they do still offer standard food if you’re not feeling brave. I want to thank bethany in particular for looking out for us and making our experience special. 10/10, would recommend 👍🏻

The food here is very fresh and well presented to the table. The staff are attentive and friendly, so you get a warm welcome once you're in.The decor is modern with stylish lighting and comfortable seats mixed with traditional ornaments on shelves. You can choose from light snacks and breakfasts, and later, there's a great choice of curries, wraps, and rice dishes. You get two wraps, which are very filling even though I have a good appetite, one is enough to eat there and then take the other home. I've only been in during the day, not early or late, but I would like to try that sometime.

Absolutely fantastic Desi-pub... Haven't been here for years, so was very surprised by the amount of space it has. A good choice of curry type meals and grills at a reasonable price. Good choice of draught drinks at the bar. You queue up to order food, and again to order drinks... Seems to work well and the food came out quite quickly. The only gripe was the weird "dance" music being played too loud that made it difficult to have a conversation... Follow up visit... Not as good. Felt really rushed, they brought out poppadoms but no plates, then brought out plates and the mains within moments. Would not recommend the salad, it was tiny, mostly lettuce. However, the background music was better and not as loud (shame about the group of "grown men" behind us who were shouting and messing about ...)

The service alone gets this 5 We forgot an order and they got it out to us lightning quick so we could all eat together rather than wait. Jalfrezi and wraps were great. Food was amazing, very popular and good selections. Booking is a must. Thanks to the staff for keeping us in check and for great service.

It’s lively, busy, and has the perfect grill atmosphere as you’d hope for. The menu is good for a grill, but the choices were all very similar, and somehow, despite the large menu, lacked a little variety. The small plates can be eaten as mains though, with great portion sizes! I shared a mixed grill, with the chicken tikka and fish pakora being the standout. The chutney tray was also immense, very tasty sauces! I had a roti which was just okay, being far too similar to the naan, and a tarka dal, again, nice, but nothing special and not really close to that you’d get from a curry house. The staff were friendly enough and all in all it’s a grill I would recommend.

I had curry goat meat and I really enjoyed it. It was really delicious and the meat was really soft. It melts in your mouth. And one thing I was very happy before I bought the food is the place is really clean

1at and foremost, lovely owner with a lovely accent and smile 5*. Mutton Stew 5* Jerk dinner 5* Mutton dinner 4*- too salty for me but that's my personal taste as I do not eat salt. Oxtail dinner-4* gravy too watery for me but again that's my personal taste. Salt fish fritters 5* My son would give 5 * all the way through, like I said my own personal taste and she cannot please everyone. Would I come here again, hell YES. Decor in shop front needs brightening up, not very inviting. The kitchen area is spotless from what you can see, the metal work is gleaming. Lovely place with a lovely owner highly recommended. X

We came here for some authentic Caribbean food to try, we tried the mixed meal which you choose 2 mains essentially, we ordered jerk chicken and curry mutton, served on (we chose) rice and beans and steamed veg. This cost £14 and there was plenty for 2. The flavours were really good, the meat was really soft, and all in all we enjoyed it. The only minor criticism was the amount of bones we had, we did still get a good amount of meat but just lots of bones also in our portion. Would recommend to try Caribbean cuisine, and would try again if in the area. The lady who served us was really friendly, she gave us samples of various dishes to try to help make our decision!

Excellent food and there is nothing the staff won’t do for you! We won’t eat anywhere else in Aldridge! The Railway Lamb Madras was exceptional.

Malabar: I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience visiting this restaurant. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with friendly and attentive staff who make us feel welcome every time we walk through the door. To start our meal, we ordered ten popadoms (10 I know, my friend has a popadom addiction) which arrived at our table quickly, accompanied by a selection of delicious chutneys. The popadoms were crispy and light, making for the perfect start to our dining experience. For the main course, we opted for two chicken curries: the Chicken Tikka Curry and the Chicken Tikka Masala. Both dishes were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, with tender chicken pieces that simply melted in our mouths. The Chicken Tikka Curry was rich and flavorful, with a subtle spice that left us craving more, while the Chicken Tikka Masala was creamy and indulgent, with a hint of sweetness that complemented the spice perfectly. We also ordered the Bengali Lamb Curry, a dish that was new to us, but one that we'll certainly be ordering again. The lamb was cooked until it was tender and juicy, and the curry was rich and aromatic, with a complex flavour profile that was both exotic and comforting. To accompany our curries, we ordered a serving of Tarka Dhal, a delicious lentil dish that was the perfect balance of flavours. The lentils were cooked until they were soft and creamy, and the spicing was spot on, with a hint of ginger and garlic that added depth and warmth to the dish. To round off our meal, we ordered chips and naan bread, both of which were perfectly cooked and delicious. The chips were crispy and golden, while the naan bread was fluffy and soft, with a hint of charring that added a subtle smoky flavour. Overall, our dining experience at Malabar was exceptional. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend Malabar to anyone looking for a dining experience that won't disappoint. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt like we were in good hands, and we'll certainly be returning to Malabar again and again.
