I popped into Clements locksmiths this afternoon as I’ve been having trouble getting the back off my spare car key. The gentlemen were very friendly and polite and also very helpful because they managed to get the back off for me which had been glued together and was finally able to change the battery! Brilliant service. Bank holiday and we were really stuck with a dropped French door that wouldn’t shut. The chap arrived in less than an hour and sorted it out as well as advising us on how to get it fixed permanently. Well worth the call out fee.

It wasn’t an emergency but Simon still came out the same day to take a look at the problem, he talked me through everything explaining in detail what the problem was and went to get the necessary parts even giving me the option of quality refurbished parts to bring the cost down. I lost my house key on a Friday evening, in a panic I Googled locksmiths near me & Chase Locksmiths Ltd were the first company I found. The boss was unable to attend as he was on a job. He sent his son who arrived within 30 mins. I have a high security door & he was unable to pick it. There is a specific pick that is required to force open doors like mine. Luke said his Dad would do it for me the following day. I booked into a hotel & had one last attempt at finding my keys. I found them, they had fallen into a space under the passenger seat (I tore my hand to pieces digging around, basically inside the cars chassis). I phoned the boss & apologised, I felt like a right **** head. I offered to pay a call out fee via bank transfer but he said it wasn’t necessary. I felt impelled to do a review & compliment them on how professional, nice & just what a great company they really are. Thank you.

A massive thank you to Simon for attending at short notice - day before Christmas eve I couldn't get into my house as the gearbox in my door had failed- as simon explained to me they do fail and ware over time. Giving Christmas was less than 48hrs away and been locked out is not the best feeling I can honeslty say and you do panic. Simon was recommended highly by my nabour. From the phone call to simon and the arrival time to my property - honeslty was no longer than 15 minutes - super He got the job done very quickly and very professionally. As we was locked out simon resured - that he will get us into our home regardless. And not to panic & either way he sort it & fair play he did. he got the door open with no damage - and replaced the gearbox - he also re drilled my door as the lock was abit catchy - as he explained to me that the last person who fitted the door with the locks didnt do the best of jobs. But he put it write and made it spot on so the lock slides in and out with ease so if i ever needed in the future to change the locks who ever does it wont struggle. Also simon relined my door and made sure it was all how it should be 👍 As over the years they move drop and become abit loose. So simom relined door and all mew fixtures and fittings are nice and tight again. & - feels like brand new. Simon has really provided a Exceptional service with the little touches that make a difference personally. & Going that extra mile As Simon didnt have to do... Simon came to sort my problem in less than 24 hours. It was a tougher access job than your average, but he stuck at it and I have a fully working lock now. He went beyond the basics and did his very best for us. I would highly recommend Simon to anybody.

By far the best training I've ever been on across any trade. The 3 day course was 99% practical training with a couple of 2 minute videos thrown in. You're taught the very basics through to the more technical techniques all of which you won't forget as you have plenty of opportunity to carry each task out until you're confident. Highly recommend this course for tradesmen who will benefit from learning non-destructive ways of gaining access. Reg is class, Wendy is lovely and Shane is a legend and they'll all take good care of you whilst you're there. A big thank you to all 3! Unfortunately we didn't have time for a pint with Shane afterwards... maybe next time!

I've literally just finished the 5 day locksmith course with A jam.I genuinely can't recommend it highly enough.Id previously done a course with a very well known (and considerably more expensive) company, but came away with barely any real hands on experience and a lot of unanswered questions. In contrast after the first day with A jam I'd learnt more than I'd learnt in the whole week with the other provider. Reg, Wendy and Shane were absolutely epic, very knowledgeable and approachable. My only wish is that I'd heard of these guys first and not wasted my money with another company.So don't make the mistake I did 😁. Book with these guys you won't regret it. Neil just rebuilt a heritage lock for our Grade 1 listed church and made new keys. His helpful attitude and advice was most welcome and he undertook the work much more quickly than we expected. Skilled craftsmen such as Neil are invaluable.

Called Keith Carrier and son out on Monday 28 October 2019 when my front door lock would not lock/unlock, he came to ours straight away as I was due at work a bit later, within the hour my lock had been changed and was working perfect, he also noticed that one of my door handles was broke, he did a repair on the handle which again now works like a new one and he also lubricated my door locks all this was done at a VERY REASONABLE price. I would definately use again and would strongly recommend his services, 5* from me.

I walked into Aladdin's cave and was instantly mesmerised. I had a particularly irksome problem that Neil solved very quickly. I do like people who think outside the box, and Neil came up with a brilliant solution. The next day, he came over and fitted 3 locks for me. Problem solved and life goes on, Thank you, Neil.

A professional, knowledgeable and reasonably priced locksmith company to contact, especially in an emergency. Neil has a refreshing “can do” attitude especially when facing very difficult challenges. He arrived on time and has excellent communication skills, especially when explaining the problem to a lay person. He repaired my obsolete door locking mechanism by remaking, by hand, the broken parts and reassembling the unit; in doing so he saved me the expense of a whole new door. Anyone else would have given up but Neil performed a near miracle and my door is now working perfectly once again. Highly recommend.

Called CDS at 8pm and he picked up immediately! Gave him a run down of a problem i was having with my vehicle, where the car wouldnt switch on as the key and the immobiliser had an issue. Was given a quote at a very reasonable price! He came to my house within an hour, diagnosed the issue and provided me with a fresh key, as well as fixing my old key. Very happy with his work and he was both prompt and friendly. Cant recommend CDS enough!
