Excellent authentic Carribbean food in a great atmosphere. Id recommend the half jerk chicken, very tasty. Being a big cheesecake fan and seeing it on the menu I had to try, it did not disappoint, one of the best I've had. Seemed to be quite a popular place, but must people seemed to be taking advantage of the bottomless brunch 😆

Upon this day, I did venture forth with mine intended to partake in a most bounteous feast, where the cups did flow without end. Verily, it was the fair maiden Lola who did attend to our needs with great care, ensuring our goblets ne’er lay barren whilst gracing us with words both warm and merry. A soul most kind is she, well deserving of high station within this fine hall. I beseech thee, good keepers of this house—bestow upon her due recompense, for her labors be most worthy. The ambience of the place is true to the theme and the staff is friendly. My server Sara was attentive and her food recommendation was excellent. Ample of seating available for groups,couples or solo diners

First time trying this restaurant after reading some very good reviews. Celebrating a wedding anniversary, we thought to try something different and it didn't disappoint. The food was delightful and varied with an abundance of different flavours. Can't fault the service at all with every dish explained by the servers. The atmosphere was very relaxed as well which also made it enjoyable.

Loved it! The flavours conjured up were inspired. I mean a first course called Big Mac. And it tasted just like a Big Mac with a mix of the cheese, mayo, gherkin and tomato flavours with an amazing beef tartare. Wow. Every course was incredible. Go.

A great restaurant in the Jewellery Quarter, with dishes that are beautifully cooked and well-seasoned. You can tell a lot of effort goes into the presentation as well as the food itself. The staff were attentive and took the time to explain each dish in detail, which was much appreciated. The standout dish for me was the scallop—by far the best I’ve ever had. It was perfectly grilled on the surface, yet soft inside, and the flavour was exceptional. However, the Wagyu beef was slightly disappointing, as it wasn’t as tender as I’d expect from A5 beef. The Big Mac (beef tartare) taste good but I personally things the crispy onion/ mushroom is a bit overpowered and make the beef itself taste less flavourful Overall, this is a very good restaurant with great value for money. I’ll definitely be returning to try their full course menu!

A Memorable Anniversary Celebration Last Friday, we celebrated our wedding anniversary at Pasture, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the porterhouse steak, which we ordered medium. It was cooked to perfection, with a flavorful crust on the outside and a juicy, tender interior. Each bite was a delightful mix of rich, savory flavors that truly showcased the quality of the steak. Equally impressive was the service we received from Marta, our server for the evening. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure that every aspect of our dining experience was flawless. Marta’s professionalism and cheerful demeanor added a personal touch to our celebration, making us feel genuinely valued as guests. Overall, the combination of exquisite food and exceptional service made our anniversary dinner a memorable one. My experience was spectacular! All thanks to Priya! She was lovely, very honest and nice, she gave her recommendations which was amazing by the way. She deserves a pay rise. The food was amazing and the wait was around 20-30 minutes which was worth it for the amazing food we had!

Mo was an absolute gem—attentive without being overbearing, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely passionate about the food. His recommendations were spot on, and he made sure we were well taken care of throughout the night. He added a personal touch to our meal that made it all the more special. The food at Pasture was nothing short of spectacular. Every dish was artfully presented and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were fresh and thoughtfully sourced, and it’s clear that the kitchen takes great pride in crafting each plate with care and creativity. From the starters to the desserts, everything was perfection. If you’re looking for an exceptional dining experience, Pasture is a must-visit. Went on fancy date night with the other half. Over all was great end to end experience for fine dining. Bill was little over £400, so there really needs superb all around experience, which fell a bit short. (Bit of noise in the restaurant and had different servers for the night and couldn’t hear some of them as they were describing the dish) 4.5/5 for me, purely due to cost vs. Experience ratio. Would go back under the right circumstances.

We came to Adams for my birthday with my husband and four year old daughter. We last came here for our 2nd wedding anniversary many years ago. The food and service was just incredible! I am so so pleased that Adams is so family friendly. The staff made a fuss of our daughter and she absolutely loved her experience there. It can be hard to find fine dining places that are so welcoming to children. We will come again!

We attended at lunchtime, booking for my partner’s 40th. We were greeted warmly, and the service was exemplar from start to finish. The cocktails were delicious, as were the mocktails. The starting snacks were next level, especially the Parmesan crisp with mushroom mousse! The tasting 7 menu really wowed, the quail with smoked cashew, the halibut, and the venison were real standout dishes, but the blackberry dessert was next level - the word for that dessert is “exquisite”! We felt honoured to be the first to try the new dessert too! An extra nod of gratuity for being so careful about my shellfish allergy too, it is so appreciated. Thank you for an incredible afternoon - we have left full up and not stopped revelling in the experience since getting home.

We really loved it here. The food was excellent. Some of the chefs that came to explain their dishes could have spoken a bit slower and taken a bit more time to explain. They go so fast spmetimes you hardly get to actually understand what they are saying. We had a nice tour in the kitchen. Again, it was a bit rushed. Would have liked more insight. However all in all we had an amazing night. One more comment; I would say its a little bit too expensive for what you get. If i was comparing it with Opheem for example.

We decided to book reservations here for our year anniversary. Having never dined here before I was really excited and it did not disappoint. We had trouble finding a car park space, so I called the restaurant and they were completely understanding. The waiter was amazing giving a fast, professional and friendly service. They were also very knowledgeable when pairing wines to my menu selections. We were seated in a cozy, intimate booth. The restaurant itself was clean, warm and had the perfect anniversary ambience. We will definitely be back!!!

Went to The Ivy Temple Row and had the set menu, which was great value for the quality of food. The steak was cooked perfectly and really tender, definitely a solid choice if you’re unsure what to go for. But the real highlight? The sticky toffee pudding. Easily one of the best I’ve had—rich, sticky, and just the right amount of sweetness. Highly recommend saving room for dessert because it’s absolutely worth it. Service was great, the atmosphere was classy but still relaxed, and the whole experience felt like a treat without being too over the top. Would definitely go back!

5 stars 🌟 all around. One of the best restaurant meals I'd had this year. The food is very good quality and worth the price. I can't remember the names of everything we had, but the steak cut like butter and the garlic mushrooms, freshly baked cocoa bread and deep fried anchovies were delicious. The cocktails were also 🔥 we had x3 Buenos Aeries cocktails, which were divine. The toilets were clean and the atmosphere was good. I recommend and will be back. Free parking is onsite. Bonus ✅️

I was not stopped by some not very pleasant reviews that I read about your restaurant.. and of course I came to try your food myself, and I came out very satisfied. Together with my husband, we ate a very delicious lunch, the steak was cooked the way we asked, the wine we chose was great, and what to say for the dessert at the end just Super satisfied. Our compliments to the chef and thanks to the staff who were very kind and smiling at every moment.. Highly recommended 👍

We did the company lunch at De Villaggio and from the booking to having the lunch was perfect. Alex guided us me during the booking process and he made sure everything was ready on the day. Ifi was on the service was really nice and answered all the questions we had and made sure we were happy during our time. We wish we could stay a bit longer because the food was delicious and the service as well.

Very quiet place, but the food is AMAZING! Great gluten-free options, and staff are very helpful. Quick service, and hot tasty food. Little bit expensive, but the food is worth it.

Ordered two glorious dishes from the lunchtime menu. Two for £18.99 is a really good deal. The lobster and prawn ravioli was delicious and the salmon pasta was beautiful and filling. All the food was divine. Definitely recommend and will be coming back!

Absolutely amazing food, friendly and quick service, lovely ambience! As soon as we walked in we were greeted and shown to a table, drinks were brought very quickly and when starters arrived we were offered sharing plates. The staff checked in with us and made sure we were happy, and we never had to wait, even though the restaurant was very busy on a Friday night. We had the garlic bread starter which came with chopped olives, a really good pairing and not something I’ve seen before. Then for mains we had a spicy meat pizza and a creamy cheesy spinach and walnut gnocchi. They were both so so good!

Great first time experience at The Physician. We've recently moved to the area and were in search of a local pub for us to go to and I think we've found it. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. The pub itself has a lot of charm and is very beautifully decorated. We came early and managed to get a table in the bar area without a booking but it did get pretty busy so booking ahead would be recommended. They are also dog friendly and can join you for a meal at the bar area. They also seem to have a really nice space outside with picnic tables that would be great in the summer. We're looking forward to coming back!

An afternoon of drinks with friends. It is a pleasant dog friendly establishment, really cosy with different extravagant and elegant rooms for open or private dining. A great outside seating area with a waterproof cover and plenty of fixed heaters. Average prices and plenty of free 'help yourself' water. I love the oatmeal cake given when purchasing a coffee. Be careful when parking on the dar park. It is not free, and the venue signage is not obvious. It's relatively cheap at £1.20 per hour, accepts cash and card, so make sure you pay as the warden is regular.

We loved the use of seasonal food in the way of vegetables and meats. You want tasty comfort food at this time of year. I really appreciated the light bites, this ment I had room for a tasty desert. Only downside was paying by app for the parking and this had nothing to do with the Physician.

It was my first night alone in Birmingham, and I decided to have dinner at this Mexican restaurant. I walked in around 5pm and was seated right away. My server Yiannis was polite and friendly, he gave me many suggestions for food and drinks as I have minor dietary restrictions. Food was fantastic (I had lamb and chips/salsas for appetizers.) but the server’s attentiveness and positive attitude especially stood out. I wish I could have this type of service in America… I’ll definitely come back here!

First time visiting The Mayan tonight for a belated valentines meal. We arrived early and sat at the bar where the bar staff provided great service and looked after us. Showed to our table shortly after, Yiannis the manager was awesome and helped with food and drink suggestions. What a stunning meal we had, service was exemplary and the staff were so attentive and friendly. Food was absolutely delicious and we had the tacos sharing platter for 2. Meat was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Decor was a feast for the eyes, the attention to detail is on another level, even the ice has the name of the restaurant engraved. Great time at Mayan on valentines day. Giannis was amazing! It was great to see families out and still enjoy a romantic meal. The portion sizes were good, and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. They went the extra mile.

Lovely traditional Italian restaurant. All the dishes were really nice, with speedy service for a group of 8 seated upstairs. Would definitely recommend their chicken, pork and lamb dishes, very good flavours and decent portion sizes. Mostly serving Mediterranean style dishes, not you normal pastas and pizzas you might expect. Accommodated for my toddler nephew by making an off the menu simple pasta in tomato sauce. Worth booking via open table to guarantee a table as it was busy!

I was a little apprehensive going here due to the negative reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of service was amazing, our waiter was lovely, all staff were friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, we had the garlic bruschetta for starters, the risotto for mains and tiramisu for dessert. I would definitely recommend and I want to go again too. The atmosphere was great, lots of people, by 6.30 the place was packed (considering they open at 6).
