Food is the best we have ever had atmosphere was very calming and the service brilliant would highly recommend

Good location highly accessible by car, by public transport. Free onsite parking right outside of the restaurant. Very welcoming and caring team throughout our whole stay. Lovely view, super generous high quality afternoon tea served in great tableware and tea sets. I usually take a lot of photos but the food looked so inviting so I forgot. Feel hungry again while writing this feedback. Thank you for the wonderful experience!!

Lovely evening for our group of four Christmas Dinner. We arrived early but were shown straight to our table. Our meals were all pre booked so within 10 minutes of sitting down our starters were brought out. Which was Lovely. Two had vegetable soup, tasty. One had Patè, very good and one garlic prawn again very good. We had a bottle of wine between us, Pinot Grigio. Our main course soon followed three with turkey and one beef. We all thoroughly enjoyed our choices all plates cleared. We were rather full at this point and asked if our puddings could be held back a while which the staff were more than happy to do. We'd order two crème brûlèe, two choc cake. Those who chose the brûlèe wished they'd gone for cake but we all enjoyed the desserts and nothing was left. A lovely evening in a lovely spot. We will return and I've told my family about it too. I have since been back twice for the afternoon tea. Excellent value.

This place really is wonderful whether it be for food, drinks, or my personal favourite, the afternoon tea! The restaurant looks out over the golf course and to be honest, you would never know it was even here it’s so tucked away. The interior is lovely and the staff are very friendly. The menu has ‘set options’ for a set price and afternoon tea is amazing plus it’s only £20 pp, which is the cheapest I have found! Will continue to return and would recommend it to anyone.

A tidy, bright cafe overlooking Castle Bromwich Shopping Centre. Jane’s cafe is an institution and by the looks of things, will continue to be. It is packed with customers at a lunch time. I’m sure it’s even more popular at lunch times. Inside, it is spacious. Outside it offers a wooden decking area for seating too.

Been a fair few years since I've been here and must say absolutely love the decor in the cafe. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Only thing that let it down was dirty cutlery - stood there for ages trying to pick out the best looking knife and fork.

Popped while I was waiting for local shops to open. Really friendly staff, took my order immediately and my food was delivered fresh and hot less than 5 minutes later. I had a small breakfast consisting of 1 serving of each, bacon, sausage, egg, beans and tomatoes. It also came with two slices of bread & butter and a proper mug of tea. All for just £6.50 Everything tasted great, was hot and cooked perfectly for me. Even the other patrons were friendly and chatty. Lovely small cafe, traditional breakfast, lunch and sandwiches, well worth a visit.

Chikaros Birmingham at Hodge Hill is a pleasant place to dine in. Out of so many options in Birmingham, we chose this, and to be honest, our decision was right, thanks to my niece who suggested this place. Let's start with ambience they have beautiful setup for dining. We were a group of 11 family members along with kids we were trying to settle down on the ground floor, but then one of the service persons guided us upstairs where there is kid area to play and a very private type seating space especially for family and it was perfect spot for us. Beautiful ambience, clean tables, and very moderate lights, so all of these things were making me feel better at this place. The best part is that usually, when we go to a restaurant where steak and fish are served, there is always a smell from tables or its like in the environment, but this was 1st steak house where I observed air freshener is being sprayed time to time and making environment much better and no smell of steak or fish will be observed. Kudos, for that approach, I think all steak houses should do this. We all ordered different dishes for ourselves, which included steak, chops, grilled, nachos, etc. Every single thing was delicious, and the quantity was massive. I will say that management has invested a great time in understanding customers, which shows results in their food. Try their steaks they are really good and cooked as per the requirements, which is perfect. Ariba, such a gem at Chikaros, a true definition of " available but not visble," which is the best quality a service person at a restaurant should have. Many times, you must have observed that waiters are just kept on looking at your table and make you feel uncomfortable while dining, but Ariba was attending us periodically, but she have skills to make customer feel comfortable. Service was prompt and quick. Our huge order took only around 20 mins to prepare and served, and food kept on coming without pause. Not a single miss in order each and every detail we asked for was there on table. All colleagues of Ariba were helpful and acknowledging us while our stay. Thanks a lot, Ariba and crew, for making our stay pleasant at Chikaros.

Hello World here if you have young kids this place is amazing. The food here was amazing. We were served by Aliyah and Ammar, Aliyah gave us good hospitality. The service here was fast and excellent. My children both absolutely loved it here with the play area. I totally recommend this restaurant.

1st time visit, Very welcoming and friendly staff, the atmosphere was pleasant, kids loved the play area, complementary drinks from management 👍. Food was 9/10, I think the sauces over the food was too much for us, so next time we visit we would ask to not have the sauce over the food maybe separate. Otherwise would be a 10/10, portion size was worth the price. Thanks to Iqra and her colleagues we enjoyed our time. We will be visiting soon!

first time coming to this place and the food was amazing. lovely customer service. Rukhsa was lovely and very helpful. As soon as we entered, she attended to us straight away and gave us a place to sit. overall, very nice experience i had and would definitely come back. ruksa also deserves a pay rise for the amazing service she gave. BUT... i wanted to take the cutlery home and she said no. 😂

I’m not a burger person but the chicken tenders & chicken bites are something else. I love the seasoning on the fries, super delicious. All staff are extremely polite and friendly every time I come into store. I specifically go out of my way to eat here, the chocolate milkshake is also to die for.

Seen this place about but never got round to trying so decided to pull in and take the mrs, Firstly food was great! The mac and cheese just needed a touch more cheese but the food was fresh and hot served the burger was greasy and full of flavour no fault there! The atmosphere was nicer than most places the music was good! 1010 definitely would recommend to people if you want a decent burger meal ( one the best burgers ive tried)

This place is a hidden Gem. Go here with your other half or quarter. You will NOT be disappointed, I can assure you will love the food with its authentic flavours and atmosphere. The seating is slightly cheap, but the rest of the shop holds up to its own class. Nice big flavoursome portions. I recommend: Mac & Cheese with Buffalo Chicken (spicy) Smash Burger Meal

Fantastic burger place! Food was amazing, customer service and cleanliness was 10/10! I had the American Boi, Korean wings, loaded fries and cookies and cream milkshake, finished it all!! Loved the chicken on the loaded fries, you can taste the freshness. Staff were lovely and friendly - thank you for a great experience and will definitely be back!

Had a takeaway from here for the first time? Had a Bombay platter mix grill it was delicious and huge! Highly recommend and I already have! Will be ordering again! Great food

Lovely local restaurant.Great price! Also proper chicken used instead of pre formed. Staff helpful. Food had flavour rather than bland. Nice fresh popodoms too.Ounion salad finely chopped. Take your own alcohol. Only negative was air con slightly cool.

We were looking for a nice place to eat and play board games after UK Games Expo and ended up here. What a great decision! Not only was the service fantastic, but the Bangladeshi owners make DELICIOUS food! I hope next time I am in Birmingham I can return. Keep up the great work!

Went hear for my birthday as we haven't been out for a curry for ages, and as we moved to a house in a different area, we went here on a recommendation. First off the restaurant was clean and cosy and was packed, on a Wednesday so you know the local people must love this food. The food was fantastic, Abdul the head guy picked out my food, as I'm vegan and they fully catered for me and I can't fault it, my wife said the meat wasn't dry or greasy and was the best Indian food she had from anywhere. I can't recommend these guys enough. We will definitely be going back.

I'm abit of a regular because I know what I get amd I don't ever leave reviews on places I've eaten but my food tonight is definitely 10/10, I ordered for family to enjoy with me and my dad even enjoyed it which he is very fussy where he eats..keep up the cooking guys, thank u

What happened? Came for my birthday with the family, food itself was lovely but the experience as a whole has made me not want to come back for a sit down meal. The waiter was miserable and didn't look like he wanted to be there, everything looked like it was too much work for him. We didn't even sit down before he started to ask what drinks and how many poppadoms did we want - can I not sit down and get my coat off first? Starters took forever to come out, they put 3 plates of salad on the table without saying anything (we assumed it was for the 3 starters) but they sat there for ages before they finally brought out the starters to be put on the plates. The waiter that was serving us kept leaning over trying to grab plates and asking if we had finished even though people were still clearly eating. Found that a bit rude, it's not like they were busy and needed plates back. Starters were beautiful, so was the mains. Couldn't fault the food. Put a bit of a damper on my birthday as I picked that place and was a little embarrassed how the staff were towards us. Felt like we weren't good enough to be there.

Party of 16 ages from 2-55 years. Gave us a long table in the back room. Food arrived quickly was great value for money. Everyone enjoyed. Kids got a bit wild when we were leaving (as kid cousins do but they were more worried theyd hurt themselves than telling them off which is unusal most places moan).Overall great service friendly staff will definitely book family get togethers here again

We recently celebrated my sister's wedding lunch at Lucarelli West Bromwich, and it was a 10/10 experience! From the planning stages to the day itself, Vinny and the team were incredibly helpful and organised, ensuring everything went smoothly for the bride & groom and thirty guests. Vinny and Tanvir are an absolute credit to the business – they managed the food and drinks service perfectly, keeping everything on track all while making us all feel completely at ease. The service was exceptional and all staff members helping on the day went above and beyond to make the occasion special. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish perfectly prepared and presented beautifully. The portions were generous as well – so there were plenty of full and happy stomachs at the end of the evening. A huge thank you to everyone at Lucarelli for making the day so memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to celebrate such a special occasion. I would highly recommend to all!

Food was great! The amount they give you is generous even the starters are ace. Drinks are standard restaurant price. Even gave us 50% of the food as we had booked online! My only complaint would be the heater was right above my head and did make the room very warm. But other than that would definetely reccomend.

Excellent friendly and conscientious service. Nothing is too big an ask. Superb care and discussion for those who are gluten free. Spoilt my Uncle with a birthday Panna Cotta and a candle; a complete surprise. Highly recommend - you pay a bit more, but then you get more! Had parking including blue badge.

Ordered on uber eats and the delivery driver got my food and never delivered it to me. Thankfully the guys here were super nice and did a fresh lot. Lovely staff

The service was supreme, I was surprised by the level of attentiveness they have for all diverse individuals that enter the store; whether a delivery driver, worker, customer etc. All treated with equal respect. Amazing! Additionally, the fried wings I ate, was far superior than the fried chicken I ate at KFC, so surprised, I totally recommend this to everyone to come ASAP!!!

We’ve booked here for a Friday night as we’ve been craving some good smokehouse food. Let me tell you this - there is not 1 bad thing I could say about this place. We’ve turned up just before 7pm after booking a table (which is a must as it was packed!). Got seated straight away, staff all super friendly and polite. THE VIBES HERE ARE ELITE. The decor really does make you feel like you’re in US. Menus were beautifully designed. We’ve also been blessed with live music. What else would you want? We’ve ordered the big platter for two which sets you off £60/2 people (so £30 each) which we’ve thought was more than reasonable as you’d probably spend about the same on individual meals. There wasn’t 1 thing we didn’t love on the platter. The meats were full of flavour and all tasted different. Cornbread was a 10/10. We’ve also tried their home-made rootbeer float and grape soda which was definitely a solid kick of sugar but amazing nonetheless and a great complement to the savoury meats. We can’t wait to go back.

What can I say? The food here was absolutely superb, and I would highly recommend it. There is plenty to go at on the menu to suit all tastes and I ended up having the The Smokehouse Platter which included BBQ ribs, Memphis-style ribs, sausage, chicken wings, short rib, fries and slaw and this I recommend so you get a broad taste across the meats. The staff were very friendly and we were only waiting less than 20 minutes for the food to arrive at the table. No complaints whatsoever! ☆☆☆☆☆
