Amazing food as usual! Two Amazing adults meals and three very happy kids ! The only place we can all eat as a family with one ceoliac , quality was great , we usually eat in but had a takeaway for a change . Kids meals are a better price then a certain capital M place ! Ans they even include gluten free kids meals

It's quite a drive for us to get there, but it's really worth it. My sister needs gluten free services, and their gluten free time on a Tuesday really allows her to enjoy a simple chippy tea. Fish, chips and curry sauce. And the prices are great too.

We have just started going here as was told to us from friend, we have given up our weekly Chinese for their amazing food,staff lovely and helpful,food is so lovely please try best chippy we have found by far , yummy.

Lovely and clean. Quick service with red hot beautiful chips. Fish is in light batter and there are plenty of different products to choose from. I feel like I'm on holiday when I go there...sat in the chippy. Great tea and shandy too.

Stunningly beauiful place with authentic thai food, my thai wife says aroy mak and i loved the food too. Would highly reccomend for a nice meal out.

My friend and I ate here last weekend. The food and service were absolutely fantastic. The food is not expensive at all and it was authentic. I had the squid and mixed rice for mains, and deep fried ice cream and honeycomb cheesecake for dessert. Would recommend all of it! The server has a great sense of humour as well. There is plenty of parking. This place should be busier! I will definitely come here again

Amazing, 5* authentic Thai food. I highly recommend this resturant. There is a flight of stairs to access the resturant, & do not be out off by the outwardly appearance…this is a beautiful, family run business. Staff spend time with the customers & families are welcome. You can take out from here, collection only. I have yet to have a meal here that is anything but lovely.

This place is a little gem, a family run business that does not disappoint! Recommended to us by a friend. Food was fantastic and the owners are lovely too. Service was fantastic, we will definitely be returning. Thanks for a lovely night/anniversary meal xx

Our experience had its ups and downs, but it ultimately left us with memorable moments—especially in the realm of dessert. The true highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the Cardamom Panna Cotta, which was simply exceptional and one of the best desserts we’ve ever had. Traveling with a child can pose its own challenges, particularly in fine dining settings. While the restaurant didn’t have a dedicated kids’ menu, they graciously accommodated our young guest with a custom small portion meal—an effort we genuinely appreciated. Overall, it was a delightful experience

This is a great restaurant. Found in the Michelin Guide, it's punching well above it's weight! My Wife and I had wonderful service here, the staff are excellent and the food is superb. Whenever or wherever, we always love the tasting menus, they give an insight in to the world of the Chef and the Kitchen and almost always accompany them with a wine flight. They give you a taste of new and exciting wines you may never have tried, or may never try again. Get a great Sommelier with a tale to tell of it's origins and their own travels of discovery, it's always a great experience. The Boat does not disappoint and with a menu thats priced well.... You can't go wrong at The Boat. From the minute you walk in you are made to feel welcome, and you realise this place is a bit special. Somehow each individual ingredient bursts with flavour like you've never tasted before, it's sheer alchemy.

First visit here and the food was fantastic. Full of flavour and delightful! The Mongolian chicken was different but however I loved it! Also the other dishes were tasty too including the famous chilli chips. Lovely decor too so definitely worth a visit ☺️ Also staff were attentive and friendly 💫

Food and drinks were absolutely amazing. We had the boneless grill, regular grill and the chilli cheese chips - everything was perfect, food was how you expected it to be and tasted unreal! The rainbow rum punch is a must! So good! Inderjit was lovely - thank you for your service.

First time visit to the walsall branch. Nothing less then what you see at all the other branches. Great customer service, very clean, food was out of this world. A WHOLE menu for vegan/veggies. The new vegan fish is out of this world. Reasonably priced. The decor is stunning. Cant wait to go back.

First time trying Chix tonight, and wow! amazing! The chicken tenders we had was so soft, and fresh! They litterally melted in your mouth! These are by far better then KFC, and even Slim chicken tenders. Definitely will be ordering again! Reasonable priced, Quick delivery, staff are lovely, and the food from Chix was absolutely amazing!

To be honest my meal was so nice, i had the cheto burger meal with chips and some honey popcorn chicken. Flavours were definitely there throughout and the chicken quality was excellent! Only gripe was the delivery time but on a saturday night that was possibly understandable. Will be ordering again soon

Not a huge selection, but to be fair what they offer is really good. Burger was nice, fries were honestly one of the best ones we had in a very long time from any fast food restaurants.

The food I had was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and authentic, with perfectly balanced spices. The curry was thick and flavorful, the naan was soft and fresh, and everything was well-packaged. A fantastic meal. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

Friendly staff and excellent food always listen to requests as me personally don’t like hot dishes but like the flavours always spot on … and put up with the partners banter over the phone 😂 thank you again

Superb food. First time ever been here and it was a great choice, it’s the best I’ve had in a long time. Curries were quality, generous portions and all fresh. Even the poppadoms were fresh and crispy. Recommend big time!

Visited with friends, the restaurant and its staff are excellent. There’s a massive selection of foods to pick from, everything was excellent food wise however the steaks are too thin which means they can’t be cooked hot enough, it tasted ok but compared to everything else was a bit of a letdown. 100% will be returning though as everything else was great

Decided to visit as we hadn't been for a while. We were unaware of the change of management and the refurbishment going on, so part of the restaurant was "out of bounds". Although we hadn't booked we were quickly found a table with no waiting. The waiter we had was a familiar face. He was as pleasant and helpful as always. We pretty much knew what we were going to have and were not disappointed. The food was very tasty, plentiful and hot. It was good to see those high standards had been maintained. We look forward to our next visit.

We have recently moved to the area and have been to this lovely restaurant twice now. On both occasions the food, service and the friendly staff have made it a really lovely experience. We just love the beautiful handmade momo's they are stunning. Highly recommend the lamb dishes too. Although it was quiet midweek the restaurant was warm, cosy with some lovely background music ..the noodle dishes are beautiful too. Keep up the great work. Rob + Jackie Bull.😊

I've never been here before, but my two boys fancied trying it. Restaurant open and welcoming. Nice variety of things to choose from on the menu. Order the Mac and Cheese with tenders, king prawn chow mein, and the nachos with chicken tenders. Food quality and portion size was fantastic. The three of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Staff were very friendly. Would definitely come again.

It’s lively, busy, and has the perfect grill atmosphere as you’d hope for. The menu is good for a grill, but the choices were all very similar, and somehow, despite the large menu, lacked a little variety. The small plates can be eaten as mains though, with great portion sizes! I shared a mixed grill, with the chicken tikka and fish pakora being the standout. The chutney tray was also immense, very tasty sauces! I had a roti which was just okay, being far too similar to the naan, and a tarka dal, again, nice, but nothing special and not really close to that you’d get from a curry house. The staff were friendly enough and all in all it’s a grill I would recommend.

Eaten here a few times. Wasn't the best Chicken Dopiaza I've had so was a little disappointed. The mixed grill here are great and it has a very vibrant atmosphere. Really like the place

Visited the pub earlier this evening - what a great end to a busy week! We were truly impressed by the service throughout our visit - we were welcomed by all staff members, seated within seconds and our order was taken within a few minutes. Service was incredibly quick. The food was faultless - the best mixed grill in the Midlands! The butter chicken was just perfect - will definitely be ordering again. We also had sides - chips, naan and rotis - everything was spot on! If only we had room for more, we would have ordered a sweet treat :) the quality cannot be matched. A lovely family run pub/ restaurant - I’d definitely put it at the top of my list for recommendations. Whether it’s a family meal, quick munch or a date night for two, you’ll not be disappointed! Worth every single penny - thank you for a great evening!

I've looked back on a few of my reviews, and apparently I like quirky places. Well this is a little quirky pub. Typically local like, and that's good. Live music from Kevin Ruby Aston was smashing. Decent beer too. 🤠

This pub has been taken over by Lee who along with his staff are fantastic. There used to be a time in would not step into this place but over the last 3 or 4 months it's proven to have changed for the better, much better. Very small and does not serve food. One of the proper true pubs. Karaoke, discos, singers, special events and friendly people. Prices are average. Don't let it's past deter you ots changed for the better. Recommended.
