What an amazing place. Staff is so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, cannot fault this place. 10/10 for me. Popped in for a coffee and purposely charged me for a regular instead of a large, which honestly made my day. I went back less than an hour later for a dine in breakfast. I was greeted by the same happy team

Visited here on Thursday, mid-morning in early December. Had a short wait outside until a table was available. Staff were very friendly and chatty and this is a very popular place. Good range of breakfast/brunch/lunch options. Food arrived quickly and was tasty. Thank you, keep up the hard work.

Stopped off for breakfast again. This is the best place for the most amazing breakfast. Great location, brilliant staff. Massively recommended & most definitely will visit again.

Our visit here was a last-minute decision, as we hadn’t planned to eat out, but we’re so glad we did. The menu is fantastic, the food is delicious, and the service is exceptional—all at incredibly affordable prices. As the name suggests, the location couldn’t be more central. We noticed many local regulars, which, along with their impressive online ratings, speaks to their consistent quality and service. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be back!

2nd visit and i will keep going back for more lovely lady called D, absolutely love the fried chicken, rice & peas, steam veg, jerk sauce and the fried dumpling 🥹 Really GOOD quality food made fresh, would recommend highly in birmingham. i have saved the wings for later as im full from the meal!

Amazing food. I’ve been there twice now. I had the curry goat and rice & peas, jerk chicken & rice and peas. Food was well seasoned, freshly cooked and so delicious. The shop is so clean, homely and welcoming and there is a lovely green chill out area round the back. The owners are lovely. Overall 10/10

First time trying this restaurant after reading some very good reviews. Celebrating a wedding anniversary, we thought to try something different and it didn't disappoint. The food was delightful and varied with an abundance of different flavours. Can't fault the service at all with every dish explained by the servers. The atmosphere was very relaxed as well which also made it enjoyable.

Our first time fine dining and it was amazing! The food is rich with flavour and melts in your mouth. Now I understand why people do this. Thank you Wilderness for this awesome experience

Loved it! The flavours conjured up were inspired. I mean a first course called Big Mac. And it tasted just like a Big Mac with a mix of the cheese, mayo, gherkin and tomato flavours with an amazing beef tartare. Wow. Every course was incredible. Go.

Rio’s Peri Peri Lozells offers a quick and efficient takeaway service, even during busy hours, which is a plus. However, one downside is that they don’t accept card payments, though they conveniently have a free cash point inside. As for the food, the whole chicken platter is reasonably priced, and while the chicken itself is tasty, the wings were a bit overcooked and slightly burnt, which detracted from the overall experience. Despite this, the reasonable prices and flavorful chicken make it worth trying if you’re craving peri peri. A few improvements in cooking consistency could elevate the experience further.

Stopped over at Rio’s it was my first time trying and it didn’t disappoint. Prices are reasonable and the food was really good, the mango and spicy sauce on top of the grilled fillet was on point. Also the chips just go perfect with the mayo and spicy sauce.

Went to this newly opened South Indian restaurant on Friday afternoon. The interior is absolutely beautiful and clean. The staff were very welcoming and courteous. We received our order in reasonable time. The food is awesome and authentic in taste. Enjoyed it. Best wishes

Amazing food and service! The taste was very authentic, one of the best home foods you can get in UK. Great food for great price!The service was excellent, their staffs were very friendly and prompt in service which made the experience even better. We enjoyed their fish thali,biriyani,mutton chuka, fish & prawn fry. Their chicken fry, and kizhi parota were aslo amazing. Will defenitely keep coming back.

The staff was lovely, the hospitality great, and the atmosphere wonderful. I tried the rasam for the first time, and it was amazing. I loved the additional sauces and sweets on the thalis. It was an amazing experience. Highly recommended. It has discount options as well, that was a plus. Thanks for the gift for my little one. It was really a nice gesture. We’ll definitely come again.

We visited for lunch and tried a variety of dishes. We had preordered and dined in. All the food was good and reasonably priced. The interior is well-designed with comfortable seating, and the drinks were nice too. The service was also good.

Lovely staff, beautiful food, chilled out city centre canalside setting. Certainly not fast food, this is home cooked quality fare. If you're waiting impatiently while they're cooking, I find you can always have another Bloody Mary or three.

The atmosphere in this café is truly delightful. From the moment we walked in, the two ladies, who I believe are the owners, were incredibly warm and welcoming. Their friendliness and the cozy ambiance they’ve created really set this café apart from the more mainstream spots in Birmingham—it feels like a home away from home. The coffee and Eggs Benedict were absolutely delicious, and I’m excited to try more from their menu. A charming touch is their well-behaved dog, who politely sits on a chair, greeting every customer as they arrive. The outdoor seating area is a great addition, with umbrellas for shade and blankets available if it gets chilly. They have a lovely view of the canals. Overall, it’s a wonderfully inviting place that I’ll definitely visit again and happily recommend to everyone I know.

We visited Ju Ju's after staying at the Hyatt Regency hotel on Broad Street and it was a short walk for Breakfast at Ju Ju's and it was Incredible!! From the friendly welcome, to the fantastic fresh and quickly delivered food it was great from start to finish. Loads of options to eat, my wife and I had a Full English breakfast and their special chorizo and black pudding hash. It was one of the best preakfasts we have ever had ... And I have had a few 😍. Really good coffee as well and reasonably priced, Ju Ju's is exactly the sort of friendly, independent restaurant that should be supported any chance you get. So if your staying at a Broad Street hotel ditch the grim hotel breakfast and give Ju Ju's a try...But make sure you book 😊.

This cafe is not pretending to be anything it's not! It's cost and wholesome food! We were in town for a show and came here for breakfast. The menu looked good and the food did not disappoint! We had parked about 10 mins away and I didn't see any parking local to this cafe, so make plans before hand if you are traveling by car. We were welcomed warmly and within moments seated. It looks small but has a surprising amount of space. Which it needs as it was very popular and filled up pretty quickly! You order by scanning the QR code, which seems to becoming the norm these days. When the food came it looked amazing and tasted just as good. It has a lot of options for vegetarians! A point about the coffee! It was lovely! Usually I end up adding a little sugar to dull the bitter taste, but here it tasted amazing! Just right! Highly recommend this place but I'm guessing when the weather is better, this place is that much more in demand. Definitely one I saved to come back to when in the area again. ENJOY!

We visited the Soho Tavern on Park Road. On arrival, parking is an issue... cars parked on both sides and situated in a run down area. Inside the decor is nicely done, the staff are friendly and also catered for us very well. It was cold as we ate with our winter jackets on and the bathroom tap water was freezing cold as was the dryer. The food tasted amazing! We had the vegan sizzler, 2 x curries, and naan. The salad was crunchy which was nice. If you're around Birmingham this is a nice place to visit for food (despite the parking).

My experience at shoot tavern was good. The place has a very cool vibe, it was Saturday night and the place was veryyy busy. Please book table or you might have hard time finding table. There was soo chaos and very noisy as it was tooo fulll. Food was absolutely delicious. Each dust we ordered was made with love and flavour. Drink : soho fiesta Dish : masala fish , tandoori prawns( must try ) and chilli chips

Amazing food and service! We ordered the Soho Mixed Grill, butter chicken and garlic naan. Highly recommend this place to eat if you’re in Birmingham. Amazing Grill House with Value for Money ! We ordered Boneless Grill , Chilli cheese fries , Veg Platter Grill , Naan , Mojito and Ginger beer . Quality of the food was satisfying Portion size is great thereby justifying and exceeding expectations. Service was friendly and efficient , the ladies serving us were prompt . Ambience is decent , the room for improvement will be their mocktails and bar service which needs more training . Overall, worth a visit !!

We had a wonderful experience dining at Mugil South Indian Restaurant. The Chilly Chicken was perfectly spiced and tender, making it a great appetizer. The highlight of the meal was the Mysore Masala Dosa, which was surprisingly large for its price. We also tried the Chicken Kothu and Mutton Chukka was another standout, with tender, well-cooked meat packed with authentic South Indian flavors. Overall, a delightful meal at great value! We’ll definitely be back.

If anyone would like to try Authentic South Indian food in Soho road, This is the best place to eat. Egg Kothu is my all time favourite here as it can’t be cooked at home. It is as usual yummy. We ordered Chicken Briyani, Egg kothu, kids Dosa for a Sunday lunch. The food is served hot and good spicyness. We then ordered egg fried rice and it is delicious and outstanding compared to other Brit Indian restaurants (where the egg fried rice is bland, lacks taste, no salt and spicy and cheap). The restaurant atmosphere is calm, serene and peaceful. Worth to visit here if you go for shopping in Soho Road at any time or visiting Balaji temple (as it is quick drive from there)

We were welcomed by the friendly owners and lovely clean interior. The dosa is so delicious and the menu itself is very authentic. They are also very family friendly with high chairs and have a kids menu , we ordered aloo paronthe with yoghurt, which our daughter loved. Defo a go to for an authentic South Indian dining experience.
