Ah, wonderful Olena. A beautiful kind, caring and professional person. I've had so many compliments about my nails lately. This is also the place to go for the most relaxing waxing experience ever!! Olena is so efficient and good at what she does. I will never go anywhere else now.

I’ve been going to Olena for waxes since Nov 2023, my first and only waxer! She has a really nice calming energy which is a bonus if it’s your first time getting a service like Brazilian/Hollywood wax. She’s constantly asks if you’re ok throughout ensuring your comfort, she checks the temperature of the wax is right and is always so respectful. I love our little catch ups every couple of weeks as she is a really nice person all while remaining professional.

It’s been 10 days since I had my hair colored, and as I mentioned in my initial review, the team at Urban Roots is absolutely professional and incredibly kind. Ashleigh was the one who did my hair. Before the coloring, a patch test was conducted. Initially, I wasn’t completely satisfied with how the color turned out, but now, on day 10, the color looks even more beautiful. Most importantly, my hair hasn’t been damaged at all. I truly want to thank Ashleigh and the entire Urban Roots team!

Just had my second visit with Ashley and she's done another great job on my hair. She is hard working and always efficient with her work. Iv been really happy with the colour, cut and the excellent service. The salon has a relaxed and friendly ambience. A returning customer after 8 years and I don't know why I picked anywhere else. This will be my go to place now.

I had an amazing experience with Summer, who did an incredible job on both mine and my mum's hair. She was so sweet, really listened to what we wanted, and made us feel completely comfortable. Not only did she give us beautiful styles, but we also had a lovely chat throughout the appointment. Highly recommend Summer for her expertise and her warm, friendly personality!

On entry you are greeted with a warm smile, in a salon which is better than most high end spas, The excellent customer care, service and the ambiance is uninterrupted until the end. All chairs are wonderfully comfortable and sometimes I am so relaxed I simply drift away to sleep .The attention to detail and knowledge of your hair is impressive so JYG always provide exceptional hair care, advice, and hairstyles -every time. Then the beauty treatments are great.

My appointment was with james g and my daughters with trearna at the edgbaston salon.I absolutely love my hair and so did my daughter. Both of them are brilliant at what they do and they go out there way to give you the best experience. Staff are very polite and welcoming. We both love our hair and will be visiting back. I would definitely say come and check them out you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely loved my cut! I have thick short Asian hair and have struggled to find someone to be able to manage a cut to accommodate my needs I was booked with Treana, and she helped me so much after I'd visited a different salon weeks before and didn't get a suitable cut. My hair was fixed and rectified and exactly what I needed. There is limited parking outside but there are nearby places to park at a cost. The cost of my cut was fair, I booked online, the time taken was also very reasonable when others have taken much longer. The team here are talented and trained very well, which can be seen in the result of my cut

She is not only insanely talented but also SO lovely, personable and friendly. Erin takes the time to really get to know me and my hair, ensuring she understands exactly what I want. She CONSISTENTLY nails my short blunt bob; it’s always precise, sharp and absolutely perfect when I leave the salon. An absolute amazing experience! I had my hair coloured by Lauren who was exceptional! She truly brought my vision to life! Very understanding and goes through your hair step by step! I was in need of a fresh change for my hair, and this salon truly delivered! Harmony, who I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for hair colouring done, did an incredible job. I trusted her to choose shades that would complement my skin tone, something noticeable but not too light, and she absolutely nailed it. She talked through the different options, and the final result was stunning! Not only is she extremely talented, but she’s also a total perfectionist and highly professional. I highly recommend for laser treatments and eyebrow treatments. After trying many other salons for laser treatments I finally found world of beauty! I’ve had 4 sessions so far and the results are amazing. Bobbi was super friendly and made me feel comfortable.

Another fantastic trim by Sam if have Afro hair and he definitely knows what he is doing and never disappointments definitely would recommend to anyone! Bayar styled and trimmed my girlfriend’s hair and it was amazing very professional and lovely service at the shop always a very good time when I come in and always look foward to my next appointment! All staff were lovely and since Sam has taken over he has really improved the shop, Very lovely decorative changes and new barber’s chair’s which are much more comfortable for the customer. Tandy’s is always very good and always look forward to coming!

I just got a balayage done by bayer at this salon and she’s sweetest most kindest ever made me feel ever so welcome and comfortable as well as communicating with how I wanted my hair and what exactly was the best to go ahead with as my hair had previous colour red and she made that disappear to a perfect balayage which I love and so obsessed with definitely worth a visit as she is quick with the responses and worth each penny🫶🏻
