Iv been really happy with the colour, cut and the excellent service. The salon has a relaxed and friendly ambience. A returning customer after 8 years and I don't know why I picked anywhere else. This will be my go to place now.

I had an amazing experience with Summer, who did an incredible job on both mine and my mum's hair. She was so sweet, really listened to what we wanted, and made us feel completely comfortable. It’s been 10 days since I had my hair colored, and as I mentioned in my initial review, the team at Urban Roots is absolutely professional and incredibly kind. Ashleigh was the one who did my hair. Before the coloring, a patch test was conducted. Initially, I wasn’t completely satisfied with how the color turned out, but now, on day 10, the color looks even more beautiful. Most importantly, my hair hasn’t been damaged at all. I truly want to thank Ashleigh and the entire Urban Roots team!

I always have the best waxing appointment with Olena! I love booking with her, she’s such a lovely and comforting person. I’ve been going to Olena for waxes since Nov 2023, my first and only waxer! She has a really nice calming energy which is a bonus if it’s your first time getting a service like Brazilian/Hollywood wax. She’s constantly asks if you’re ok throughout ensuring your comfort, she checks the temperature of the wax is right and is always so respectful. I love our little catch ups every couple of weeks as she is a really nice person all while remaining professional.

I found this salon on Instagram. The quality of the work and the creativity of the master immediately attracted my attention. It was also important for me how the instruments are processed, everything is used once for one client, which allows you to be 100% sure that everything is hygienic and sterile. The girl turned out to be a professional in her field, very pleasant and sweet. She takes care of comfort, coffee and sweets. I recommend it and will come back many times myself.

An absolute amazing experience! I had my hair coloured by Lauren who was exceptional! She truly brought my vision to life! Very understanding and goes through your hair step by step! I then had my hair styled by Kim and opted for a bouncy blow dry! I would definitely reccomend this salon for anyone who is looking for a haircut or colour. I was in need of a fresh change for my hair, and this salon truly delivered! Harmony, who I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for hair colouring done, did an incredible job. I trusted her to choose shades that would complement my skin tone, something noticeable but not too light, and she absolutely nailed it. She talked through the different options, and the final result was stunning! Not only is she extremely talented, but she’s also a total perfectionist and highly professional. Plus, I really appreciated the little touches, like the drinks and biscuits throughout my visit. As for the cut, Leanne completed the look perfectly. She took the time to consult with me about what would suit me best, rather than just following trends, which I really appreciated. For the second appointment, I had to bring my 2 y/o along, and the salon was so welcoming. Leanne even offered him some snacks and made sure he could sit beside me while she worked around him. This made the experience so much easier and more enjoyable. Faith also washed my hair and gave me the most relaxing scalp massage! She was so attentive, constantly checking that the water temperature was just right :) The 1.5 hr journey to this salon was so worth it, can’t wait to go back again! Thank you Kim Duong Hair!

My mum and I had a wash, cut, and blow-dry, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! The wash was done by Luke and Harmony, who were absolutely excellent. Harmony, in particular, provided phenomenal service—her professionalism and warm demeanor really stood out. She took the time to help my mum choose a hair color, carefully discussing each option without rushing the process. The salon has such a calm and unhurried atmosphere, which made the experience even more enjoyable. As for the stylist, Leanne was simply outstanding! Her skill in layering and finishing both our haircuts was amazing, leaving us with flawless results. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can’t recommend the team highly enough! Futhermore, my father alongside attended and his cut was done by Kim - he really loved his cut.

She is not only insanely talented but also SO lovely, personable and friendly. Erin takes the time to really get to know me and my hair, ensuring she understands exactly what I want. She CONSISTENTLY nails my short blunt bob; it’s always precise, sharp and absolutely perfect when I leave the salon. I genuinely feel like I’m in the best hands with her, and her attention to detail is unmatched. Beyond her skills, Erin creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Absolutely loved my cut! I have thick short Asian hair and have struggled to find someone to be able to manage a cut to accommodate my needs I was booked with Treana, and she helped me so much after I'd visited a different salon weeks before and didn't get a suitable cut. My hair was fixed and rectified and exactly what I needed. There is limited parking outside but there are nearby places to park at a cost. The cost of my cut was fair, I booked online, the time taken was also very reasonable when others have taken much longer. The team here are talented and trained very well, which can be seen in the result of my cut

I visited JBH for first time in November 2024. I had a complete restyle I had very long hair down to my bum and it was damaged on the ends from bleach. I'm a very nervous client as I take pride in my hair. I had the lovely Erin for my appointment she gave me a beautiful restyle and made me feel so at ease so much so I have a new hair stylist I live in Wolverhampton but I am more than happy to travel down for Erin to do my hair! Absolute gorgeous salon and pleasant staff.

I had an amazing experience at the salon. The staff were very professional and gave excellent advice for my haircut. I went from long hair to a shoulder-length cut, and it turned out even better than I expected. I'm very happy with the service, and the price was reasonable. I also had a wonderful experience with Flora for hair styling. She transformed my hair beautifully and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process by explaining each step.

Absolutely love coming to World of Beauty. Always so accommodating when booking appointments and the salon is always so clean and well kept The staff are always so friendly but Kam is just amazing. Another fantastic trim by Sam if have Afro hair and he definitely knows what he is doing and never disappointments definitely would recommend to anyone! Bayar styled and trimmed my girlfriend’s hair and it was amazing very professional and lovely service at the shop always a very good time when I come in and always look foward to my next appointment! All staff were lovely and since Sam has taken over he has really improved the shop, Very lovely decorative changes and new barber’s chair’s which are much more comfortable for the customer. Tandy’s is always very good and always look forward to coming!

Bayar, did my brothers perm she accommodated us very well, she is so well mannered and professional. She ensured he was comfortable and happy all the way through. My sister has already booked for her hair dye treatment. This woman can do anything you wish in regards to hair.
